Hey guys! I just finished watching Gridlock with my friend and after a bit of sobbing, we came to the conclusion that the two hymns sung by the car residents would be worth having because they are absolutely beautiful. We found Abide With Me, the hymn sung in the final scene, quite easily (after all, it is on the soundtrack for the series) but we can't find the one they sing while stuck on the motorway, The Old Rugged Cross anywhere in the version it appears in on the show. So I thought I'd ask if anyone here had it? I've been googling around and I've managed to find a couple of torrents of it, but they don't seem to be working at all. :/

Oof. That is just.. quite apart from the quality of the file, not well played at all. But no, that's the right song/lyrics but I was hoping for the choral arrangement that appears on the show itself. The torrents I found say it is from a Doctor Who ADVENTure Calendar (Door 6-12-07).. I haven't heard of it before, but it must mean someone must have it.. right? sweatdrop

I've been looking for it forever.. it's absolutely beautiful, and I was surprised and pleased to hear those two hymns in 'Gridlock'.
I do hope someone can find it; I've been looking since the episode aired over here.

That's it! biggrin
Unfortunately, I see nowhere to download, but since they offer it for listening, I see no reason why it's not available. D:
I'll see what I can do to make an audio file of it, maybe.
Edit: I did some long version of recording both L and R audio to combine together (harder than it sounds) ... and it's a lower quality than you hear on the website, but I've got it available until the BBC releases it for sale (why they didn't put it on the CD I guess we'll never know).

Yes, I came across that link too while searching, I don't know why they don't have it downloadable or something.. it's such a beautiful song. Maybe we should send an enquiry about it?
Ceribri, can you send it to me? My e-mail address is my username at gmail.com. : D

What are you talking about, Natsumeno? You gave us the link that made it possible to make a copy. Even if it's not the best, it's better than none! 3nodding
Thank you very much!
