I'm back guys. So...yo.
It's not that I actually left, more like it was a forced removal by the Gaia Staff.
Anywho, I'm back in charge apparently.
So, there are issues to attend to, such as the changes that have been made in the rules, sign-up process, leadership, ect.
And I want your opinion on those topics, so have at you! Let me hear any criticism on any rules, people, structure or anything.

Honestly on the sign-up it should be like how it was. They need to do a sample RP. It should be at least 2-3 paragraphs long and at least B+ Grammar and spelling. And they have to be literate. ((Sorry for MY spelling. Using IE, don't have FF.))
Rules need to be revamped.
I think everyone will be glad that Aaron is back in charge.
We need missions back.
Er also we should be promoted for how good a job we did in an RP not just how long it was or anything...

You should probably be more specific with which rules. I'm happy to compromise but I think they're fine as is.
As for the sign up process this is only temporary. I do like having applicants do a sample RP but since we're in the middle or a recruiting drive I wanted to allow more people to get though. That way they can get a flavor for the guild and they're in a position that they can be dropped from the story if they either don't want to join fully or aren't Ranger Material.
Also I pretty much got rid of the ranking system for a reason. It didn't really affect much of anything. If you ranked up you could carry more Pokemon. You probably would rank up no mater what if you caught that many Pokemon.
Also, Ginji, you should be aware of a few major story elements have taken place. The Ranger HQ actually burnt down. In an attack by 'The Organization' who is now known as 'NOVA'. We have been staying at the Pokemon Center since then. However we've been offered a proposition by Mr. Goodshow of the Pokemon League. If we're willing to help out with the security at the League Championships each year we can use a section of the Stadium as the new HQ.
Also we're no longer the head Ranger office. We got demoted to head of the Kanto branch. With so few members and lack of an HQ we needed to have a stronger base at the top of the Rangers. Its currently being held by Cameron in Vermilion City. Junior was transferred to there. The Doctor and his assistant eloped and are still gone.
We also abandoned stylerballs. We just use standard Pokeballs now. We also no longer have items, they don't really have any effect in an solo RP setting and if they were used in a person to person battle they would give an unfair advantage. Any items people wish to use in an RP are assumed to be supplies given for the mission.
Other things have changed too. Perhaps we can blend the old with the new.

Aye aye. I am all caught up to speed on the story. I've been reading through the archives. Well, skimming really, but I get the gist of what's happening.
A few things concern me though, and one of them is the lack of the use of the Crew Forum, it's main purpose was to bounce story ideas off of other crew members as well as plan story 'Arcs' I guess you could call them and to discuss important rule changes.
As for the rank system, it needs revision. Ranks give a sense of power, but they can also do more then simply allow you to have more Pokemon, if they ever did that. Ranks can be far more widespread such as not allowing new members to not have 2nd stage Pokemon, or allowing certain higher up members to grade missions. It doesn't have to be a rank, it could be a special badge or something.
As for the Styler and Stylerballs, this makes it simply a Pokemon RP. We may as well change the title of the guild to "Team Magma" or something similar, I'm sure you're familiar with the Team Rocket and Team Aqua RP Guilds on Gaia, why not Magma? They're good guys now, we could totally build a story out of that. Stylus' were the key defining point of Pokemon Ranger, and the Stylerballs incorporated a system that didn't interfere with the natural balance and acted basically as Pokeballs did without the Pokeball.
On the topic of items: They're good. Believe me. You seems to forget that this is not a SOLO RP in the typical sense. You have other member to back you up, why leave them out of your post? A little thing called Team Work can go a long way. Items can be with good intentions, such as during inter-team battles, and they add an interesting spin on missions.
Which leads me to missions. Where did they go? Or rather, they need to be revamped. Badly. As you said yourself, they're the SOLO aspect of the guild, so why contradict yourself now? (above reference).
Joining Process: My mentality is let anyone who can RP in full sentences should be able to join. It doesn't matter how many sentences, but they have to be complete.

Welcome back, and it's nice to meet you. I don't think I have been in this guild quite as long asome of the other more active members, so I don't have anything to compare what we have now in the guild to; but, I find that many new members are extremely confused when they come in to apply. Maybe there should be a post with a little more guidance to where applicants should post first and such?

I'd like to clear something up.
Although I said I would be leader again, that's simply not true.
Life has taken its toll on me, and I can not find a decent time to RP with you guys, so I've convinced a close friend of mine to help run the place for awhile. His name is Sayori of the Red Sands. I'll still be around, just not a whole bunch.

Lol I was the first one to get it. Well might as well introduce myself since you will be Captain.
I play as Jack, one of the most active rangers. I have a Lucario (that can talk), a Mudkip, a Ditto, and a Electrode.

Diamond and pearl confruze me....Also thanks for not going off on me for swapping around the predicate and subject of a sentece most people would just go balistic. 3nodding

I'm not quite sure what to say here. I feel like I'm being replaced. I don't wish to be offensive but you're expecting me to just sit back and let a newcomer run the guild. I don't want to spread any I'll will but you abanondoned us.
I'm not adverse to having a new member but I think you're going too far. If you're worried about lost collateral from the guild that I can see and I would be willing to offer an equal guild in exchange. It's really a touchy subject for me and I'd like to work this out somehow.

I was thinking he'd be more of an assistant then anything, for the time being. Consider him a Temp or something. xD Anyways, for me, it just makes me a bit more comfortable (if that's the right word I want to use) to have someone active whom I feel comfortable talking with about certain matters in the guild.
Lost collateral? I could care less, I made the guild...4 years ago (give or take a day)? Something like that. Under a different name. We had fun. Good times. Good times. And I've already gained the gold back from that account long long ago.
Abandoned isn't exactly the word I would have used though... abandonment is by choice if my connotation of the word is correct. Being kidnapped is more like what happened to me, again if my connotations are correct.

All that I ask is that you give me a chance before you judge me. Also I'll have you know I have been in the same situation you are in now. Bleach Restart, which was formerly run by wissle, had their original captain to quit, and I was the 2nd membre to have ever joined that guild. How do you think I felt when I was told "some newcomer" would be running the guild when I surpassed everyone else in the categories of posts, donations (that's the only thing wissle beat me in), and over-all activity.
