The online game? http://en.mapleeurope.com/Maple.aspxI only just heard about it after reading about some weird 'virtual murder'! rofl The 2D MMORPG aspect sounds interesting, but I'm wondering if any of you have played it and enjoy it!

It's ok...
But it really only shines if you have friends to play it with you 3nodding
If you are a solo mmorpger then Maple Story probably ain't for you

It's good, but you'll get bored easily after lvl 80, even if there's a 4th job coming at lvl 120.

I'm with Zol on this one. Fine when you have people to interact with, but beside, it doesn't really stand out.
Good way to waste time when you don't want to do university's projects though xd

I've given-up on the idea of Maple Story after this and reading a few reviews. What would you say is the best free MMO game on the web?

There's Ragnarock and Rappelz that are pretty interesting, always in the free format. There's a game I played a long time ago, I think it was called Gunz. Not too bad, but it had my video card overheating.
Besides, if you like shooting games, search for Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory. Probably the best free online shooting game ever made.

My brother loves Gunz but it looks awful to me! Not a big fan of their hackers and such! xd
I wonder if there were any great fighting games in this style? Like a online street fighter or power stone, similar sorta theme?
