-Langston Hughes Name: Galleai Name Origin: Unknown Species: Cabbage Patch Kid! Age:Child Likes: reading, any sort of pale light such as moonlight or firelight, sweet fruits and berries, quiet, anything beautiful, watching people, the color purple, the members of her coven, instrumental music. Dislikes: Bright lights, excessive heat, loud or chaotic scenes, action movies, loud or grating music, junk food. Overview: Galleai is a clever, quiet girl. Very observant, she's prone to sit around watching people and she develops her own opinions and impressions based on what she sees rather than what others might tell her. For her, truth is subjective and that makes her very open to other people's belief structures all the while staying true to herself. She is graceful and confident and can sometimes come across as a bit standoffish. She doesn't open herself up to people very often, preferring to keep secret her hopes and dreams. Her laugh is unexpected and quite infectious, probably the most open expression of her joy. Galleai has to adjust to living in what she calls the "waking world". Getting the hang of a corporeal body takes a little more work for her than it does for other people. This might account for the fact that she's often quiet. Speech comes a little harder to her when she's awake and sometimes it's just easier and more productive to shut up and listen. When she's dreamwalking she often comes across as a completely different person, and people who have shared dreams with her without knowing it won't always recognize her in the waking world. Her most common appearance when she's in someone else's dreams is that of a large white cat with tiny purple winglets (similar to her headwings) on each of it's paws and a purple jewel on it's forehead. Image Song: Blackbird - the Beatles Abilities: Galleai has the ability to step into other people's dreams. Depending on the dreamer, she may or may not be able to change things around there, too. Both Galleai and the dreamer must be asleep for this to occur, though she doesn't have to have met the person previously. Galleai also has a lovely singing voice, though thats not really any sort of magical ability. Just something nice that I thought I'd mention.

The Estate
A massive and ancient mansion set on several acres and hidden away
to anyone who doesn't know what they're looking for. The Coven's central
offices are located on the main floor and below the estate are the
extensive catacombs where the real work takes place.
Also below the estate is the Oracle's Chamber.
Most of the rooms above the ground floor are no longer in use,
though they are kept clean. On a dark and stormy night the estate is
almost exactly what you would expect from a vampire lair.

Overview: Leeward was turned so long ago that he has no memories of humanity save one- watching all he knew burned to the ground, his people crucified. He is the leader of the coven, respected and feared by all it's members. He zealously guards the Oracle and the elite core of his coven was formed specifically for her protection and worship.
Leeward is smooth, manipulative and cold as ice. Nothing ever seems to shake him though he gets a great deal of pleasure from disturbing those around him. He has a wry, ascerbic wit and a dark sense of humor. He rarely sinks into deep melancholy these days and appears to be doing well keeping up with the changing world.

Species: Vampire

Overview: Nicola is vain and tempermental. She is very aware of her beauty and likes to remind people of it. As the matriarch of the coven, she expects to be catered to. She can often be incredibly childish and demanding and is not a very easy person to get along with. Nevertheless, everyone but Leeward treats her with cautious respect. She always gets what she wants.

Overview: Apollonaire and his twin Dianne were turned at the same time, in the height of their youth. He maintains his boyish enthusiasm and seems to have a boundless store of energy. His open, friendly and charismatic demeanor tends to put people at ease and it's very easy to forget just how dangerous he is. He is absolutely devoted to his sister.

Age: Old
Overview: Dianne and her twin Apollonaire were turned at the same time, in the height of their youth. She is a fierce and fiery woman, competitive with her brother and posessing the same charismatic personality though not quite as approachable. She often intimidates people, very straightforward, Dianne is not one for tricks or manipulation. She is absolutely devoted to her brother.

- Swami Vivekananda  Rook - Rook dreamt of water and earth. Galleai likes him and promised to stay with him. Carlisle -Carlisle dreamt of paper boats and they sailed away to an adventure. Galleai would love to dream with him again. August - pending Joshua - Joshua dreamt a fairy-tale, complete with a cursed princess. Galleai looks forward to playing with him again. Merroth - Merroth dreamt loud sounds and terror. Galleai couldn't get out of his head fast enough, though she did exacerbate things. Polly - Polly dreamt of an island and taught Galleai how to cliff-dive. Galleai liked her very much and feels somewhat protective towards her. Maddy - Maddy had a nice, soft and calm dream in a cabbage village. Galleai liked the serenity and would like to play in Maddy's dreams again. Melchy - Gal first met Melchy in the waking world. She thought he was an intriguing sort of boy. Ishi - Galleai liked Ishi, a noctournal child like herself. Unfortunately, a coven-member killed someone right in front of them. So it's not likely Ishi will ever talk to Gal again. Chris - Chris dreamt of stage fright. Very lucid. Galleai found him rather strange, but not necessarily in a bad way. Not sure what she thinks of him. Casia - Casia dreamt of a strange ballroom. Galleai recognized her as being powerful but not really knowing it. She likes Casia, though. Fish - Fish dreamt of a place that wasn't exactly a dreamspace. Galleai felt strange there, but is curious about the boy.
