For the first time in her short life outside of the labs, Adhara had been allowed by her 'father' to leave the house on her own. Unfortunately, it wasn't as exciting as she thought it would be. Rather, it gave her too much time to think. Normally, Noah would be reprimanding her for doing various different things she did, like picking flowers from peoples' yards or talking to strangers, while Guinevere would try to entertain her with two-person games. Now, she was stuck trying to play the games herself, feeling just a little bit silly that she wasn't talking to anyone who actually existed, or even anyone who was imaginary.
The girl's white wings stretched away from her back, flapping a bit and disturbing a nearby pile of yard trimmings, before they pulled back in, pressing neatly against Adhara's small back. "I spy with my little eye..." she started, before sighing softly. It was lonely outside, especially with how quickly the weather was getting so... nippy, as Ginny would have put it. Adhara pulled her recently acquired white, purple, and pink jacket tight around her slim shoulders once more, wishing that the material would actually stay together with holes in it for her wings. Alas, that wasn't going to happen, and she was stuck keeping them beneath the jacket. Speaking of clothing that didn't like being cut up, she also had a purple and pink striped hat on her head, with two holes that had been cut for her horns. Sadly, with the fact that it was a knit hat, it was slowly unraveling from those two places.
Grumbling to herself in an irritable way that was abnormal for the Lust spawn, she kicked a rock across the street, watching as it was run over by a semi truck and crushed into an innumerable amount of pieces. She winced. 'No wonder Noah says never to cross the street without looking both ways...' she thought to herself, before her amber eyes lifted from the street to the building behind her, and went wide. Now, what on earth had her leading herself to... this place? The converted church building still had an eery feel about it, just as it always had, but she couldn't help herself as her feet started leading her up to the front doors of the place.
She rocked back and forth on the balls of her feet upon reaching the outer portion of the building, slowly letting her head tip to the side. Now... why had she come from a place like this? She knew how she was created, as well, Ginny not being one to keep secrets of anything, especially not from a child. But that was the very problem, wasn't it? Adhara hadn't been born, she had been created. Her tentacles writhed strangely, one of them stroking the side of her face, the other one tickling at her arm a bit, though she didn't notice how strange this felt, for once. Her head tilted slowly to the side, lengthening hair following gravity.
Would she ever end up like J'her, then? With the way her tentacles had started acting after she'd met the demon, it seemed that she was going to end up in the same position if she let them continue with their actions. Once upon a time, she'd been able to control them quite easily, without too much of a problem and all. They would always follow her lead, work with her Diligence half and get things done more efficiently. Of course, they were oddly attracted to other people sometimes, but it depended on the person, and they never got too friendly. But now, they would cling to other people mercilessly and hold them tight and close to her, making her quite uncomfortable, especially when they were younger than she was.
Adhara whined and buried her face in two of her hands, before rubbing a hand across her head, therefore pulling off her hat. She then ran a hand through her hair, scratching at her head a bit. With a blink of bright amber eyes, she glanced toward the sky, wings twitching slightly. She hadn't had a chance to meet with her virtue. Maybe she could fly...? The little girl chuckled to herself. Wouldn't that be a stroke of luck in a strange life that seemed to get worse every moment and a half?

While for the most part Almas was loath to leave the room where the vessel he was guarding resided he had done so today to get himself a breath of fresh air and some sunlight. The vessel was safe though, it had guarding it someone who could keep away everyone in the building without even trying. Enki... he had to promise to spend the afternoon chatting with the demon but he figured that it would be worth it in the long run.
It was only by chance that he had come outside and found someone else present as well... he tilted his head to the side before he walked toward where she was standing, starring up at the sky. He wasn't in charge of the phones or the making of appointments anymore so he didn't know if there was an appointment yet or not... she might be here for that. Or maybe she was like Ebony and was just here for a visit?
His curiosity led him over to her along with him wanting to draw out his break for as long as he could before turning himself over to the babbling Pride Demon, "Hello there little one, are you here for a Parent Visit?" He asked of her.

Adhara had trapped herself in her own little world right then and there, unaware of how strange she may look to other people. She'd half-shed her coat for the sake of being able to stretch her wings out as best as she was able to. The small girl yawned widely, though she wasn't all that tired. It was her second day straight being awake, and for her that wasn't too much, after all that had happened before. At the longest in her memory, she'd stayed up for about five nights, though afterward she'd slept for almost a full day. It was kind of interesting to see how long she could properly function without sleep, and then notice the fact that with even a full night of sleep, Noah wouldn't be able to stay awake for an entire day, and would crash at home around eight.
She chuckled softly at that thought, before a noise from the door caught her attention. She closed her wings against her back with a dull, metallic click and let her amber eyes slowly drift toward the person whom had caused the noise. She pulled her jacket back on, and tugged the hat back on her head, a few of the strings coming loose and fluttering to the ground. The girl finally looked over at the man standing there, tipping her head and smiling in a rather transparent way, making her mental turmoil obvious, before she shook her head.
"No, but thanks for asking," she commented, forcing her brain to remember the lessons on manners that Noah had given her. "Actually, I've already met with J'her. I was just thinking about that, actually... but I don't remember my other mother's name." She blinked toward the stranger, knowing that she was rambling in a rather friendly manner despite the fact that she'd never seen him before. Given he'd come out of the building, and despite the fact that he wasn't wearing a white coat, she assumed that he would know about the place. Of course, there was always the slim fact that he was as clueless as Noah had originally been, but that was much less likely.
"Do you know, by any chance? She's an angel of Diligence. At least, that's what Noah told me," she questioned with that same faint smile, though her gaze had turned, instead to the building once more, where she was looking up toward the upper part. She was trying to figure out where all the different people were kept. She didn't really remember the place that she'd been created, originally, but she did remember the first-floor cell that she'd been kept in for the three days after re-entering the place. That had been terrible. She also knew where the demons were kept, down in the dungeons deep within the large building. She could only guess that the angel would, stereotypically, be kept in the upper floors, but she couldn't tell for sure.

Almas looked the girl over, nodding. This one was easy to tell who her DNA parents were. J'her's very obvious influence and then the pretty metal frame on the wings like what Polondraeli had.
He gave the girl a nod, "Yes, I have seen the Angel of Diligence on a few occasions, her name is Polondraeli or Pol for short." He told her. The name was a long one, easiest when one shortened it when speaking of her, "You have already met J'her? How did that go?" He knew that the demoness of Lust could be a difficult one to deal with... well at least if you were interesting to her or worse attractive to her...

Adhara let her eyes drift toward the fallen, almost lethargically, before going back to where they'd been settled previously, staring up at the large building. She dropped her jacket around her shoulders once more, this time letting her wings settle themselves at a more outstretched position, where they would be able to flap when they wished to, despite the chill that crossed her small arms. It was a moment before she spoke up again. "Why not call her Polly?" she questioned, pure child-logic leading what she was saying now. It was basic information to her, after all. "Pol kinda sounds like a boy's name, but Polly's a girl's name that's kinda the same, y'know?" she asked the man, finally turning toward him completely. One of her tentacles stroked her cooling cheek softly, while the other one pet one of her arms, before wrapping around it, trying to heat it up, or heat itself up, it was hard to tell.
"Meeting J'her..." Adhi mumbled thoughtfully, thinking a moment back to meeting the Lust demoness, before she laughed a bit. "'Was strange. She was really nice to me, but at th'same time, she was... just... strange. My tentacles have been acting really strange since I met with her, and Noah gets angry with me when they're being too friendly. They like my friends, too, a lot. But then my friends or their parents get all angry at me. I don't mean to be like that, though..." Adhara didn't notice how sad she seemed with the way she was talking, or the fact that she had switched topics, and she flushed slightly at the fact that she was being so self-centered at the moment.
"Anyways, who're you?" she questioned, manners slipping a bit, though she was at least asking who the man was, wanting to be able to address him by name. Maybe she'd be able to see him when she came back to meet her other DNA donor. It was an odd thought, to know that she had two mothers and her guardian was a boy. Maybe that was why she had so much trouble being around him all the time, was that she was too female for that to work all that well. Her wings fluffed up their feathers, a signal that they were cold, and she pulled them close to herself again, pushing the tentacle off her arm and pulling the jacket close to her small body, where her right tentacle remained stroking her face, and the other stuck itself through the hole in the side of the coat. It had taken Ginny a while to stitch the jacket up so that it would stay together with the holes for her tentacles, but her wings were too big for the jacket to want to stay together, even with the stitchings.
"My name's Adhara," she tacked on to her question, wanting to be able to socialize with this man, at the very least, though he had a feeling that he would be a bit hesitant to be close to her with the 'overly-friendly' information that she'd just revealed about herself. She took a few steps forward, and stuck out one of her hands for the man to shake, despite preferring hugs as greetings. Of course, the girl would have hugged him, but every time she hugged someone recently, her tentacles pulled them overly-close, and both of them ended up uncomfortable, except when it came to Ebony. "You can call me Adhi if you want. It's nice t'meet you."

"That would probably work out a little better." He agreed, not having thought about making it sound more like a girl's name then just shortening the name to make it easier to say.
"I can understand that, she is a very... interesting woman." He said, thinking on the times he'd run across J'her in his time. Calling her interesting seemed like the nice way to put it, "Its not your fault, I've run across another child with similar problems and had them... being quite affectionate to me. It may take time for you to get them under control, maybe you can take some classes to learn to deal with them." He suggested
"My name is Almas, I work here giving tours and doing filing and busy work." He explained to her, giving a smile. It wasn't the most spectacular of jobs but he didn't mind so much since there was something good in it for him. The Fallen reached his hand out to take her hand, shaking it, "Its nice to meet you too Adhi."

"I think so, too," Adhara agreed complacently, glad that this man was able to get her head out the clouds they'd been occupying a moment ago, and back onto lighter topics. She laughed a bit when Almas used the word 'interesting' to describe J'her. "She's definitely interesting, that's for sure. She called me 'little cherry', and said that she wouldn't get all mad at me like Noah does. I thought that it would be fun to stay with her for a while, but after we left I calmed down and realized that it might not be very fun. She was kinda scary, especially those... what were they called? Pherr-a-mones? Those ones. We had to wear masks 'cause of them." Rambling, of course. But, thankfully, Almas hadn't seemed to mind too much, and was actually quite fun to talk to. He was good at listening and he seemed to think in a similar way as Adhara did.
At the mention of another child with similar problems, Adhi's gold eyes brightened. "Is it Adriel, or is it someone else?" she questioned almost immediately, as though unconcerned about the rest of what Almas had said, though she didn't mean to seem dismissive. "I met him once, a while ago. He was really nice, but his tentacles didn't get along with mine, so mine got kinda shy for a while after that, 'cause they got hurt by his." After her previous statements, her speech articulation seemed to have diminished quite a bit with how she was speaking now. But she didn't mind.
The spawn shook Almas' hand politely, smiling at him cheerily, having been enthused quite a bit by her conversation with the Fallen. "Almas. That's a nice name," she decided, nodding a couple times. While her hand was still clasped with his, her tentacles tentatively reached toward him, before she let his hand fall and took a step back, smiling sheepishly, her tentacles being a bit disappointed at the sudden disappearance of he who was previously much closer to the two of them.

"The masks are to keep everyone safe, it is good you wore them. Other wise she can be very dangerous." He was glad that the girl wasn't taken off guard by J'her, she didn't seem to have mistook her for anything but what she was either. That was a good thing... he looked down at the girl's tentacles for a moment before giving a smile, "Yes, his name is Adriel the one that I met... and he was... ahh... friendly, maybe his tentacles were to much so."
"Are yours doing better now? Recovered from being hurt?" He asked of her, wondering if perhaps she had taken any serious damage. He seemed to have gotten his answer when they shook hands and her tentacles seemed to jump at the chance of getting better acquainted with him.

With nothing to say, Adhara merely nodded at what her new friend was saying, her wings fluttering a bit as a breeze passed through the chill air. She smiled faintly at the fact that Almas had met Adriel rather than some child that she hadn't before meant. However, when he said something about his tentacles being 'too friendly', her entire demeanor took a turn for the worse. Her wings snapped back against her back rather abruptly, and she pulled her coat up around her shoulders. She glared in frustration at the ground, eyebrows knitted together, trying to figure out what he, and everyone else, meant by that.
"They're fine. Like I said, it was a long time ago," she stated plainly. Her tentacles, apparently sensing her distress, stopped mid-action and turned toward her, stroking her cheeks gently, petting down her hair, though they were previously grabbing toward Almas. She softened her glare a bit, frowning toward the building in front of the two of them. "Almas, how can someone be too friendly?" she asked, almost suddenly, blinking a couple times before she finally looked back at her new friend.
"Noah's been saying that recently. That my tentacles are being 'too friendly'. That I'm being too friendly. That I want too much attention, or I'm being too affectionate, or I should stop throwing fits because everyone's ignoring me." She seemed to droop a bit at that, disappointed to an obvious extent. "I don't even know why I do it, though. I always want attention, and I always want people to be close to me and stuff, and when they aren't I get really upset, but I'm not sure why. It's probably because of J'her's influence, huh?" She wasn't completely sure why she was saying all of this to someone who was almost a complete stranger. What was done was done, though. No taking it back now.

Almas looked a little unsure, having had a similar conversation not to long ago with one of the other kids about how J'her was 'to friendly' but he somehow doubted that a child could be the same as the demoness... except maybe for Adriel but the boy had a reason for his actions.
"Its... in your nature I suppose, to be friendly because you have J'her's blood. Of all the demons she is the one that would be considered the most... ahh... affectionate." He told her, having to be careful about how he explained, "Some people aren't as affectionate as others, maybe you just need to help your tentacles figure out who is more willing to allow the attention?" He suggested, a guess on his part.

Adhara pet her right tentacle softly, and it butted up against her hand happily, always being the one that seemed to need the most attention, whereas the other seemed to be content with simply making things right or cleaning or making Adhara look better. However, said left tentacle occasionally did join in the mischief that the Lusty tentacle seemed to get itself involved in; thankfully, none of the things had been all that bad... yet.
"That's the funny thing, though," Adhara commented when Almas was finished speaking, snuggling into her coat a bit to recover from the cold air that her skin had previously been exposed to. "Is that they usually only cling onto people that they haven't met before. When it's people that they already know, they don't seem as interested, really. It gets me into trouble a lot, 'cause I don't know who'll allow it until after it's happened," she finished with a bit of a pout, before forcing herself to look on the brighter side.
"But Noah says that I've always been more like Polly; I've always had to keep myself busy, and I can stay up for a really long time without much problem, and I clean a lot more than most kids and learn faster than them, too, he says, even if I'm not learning really what I'm supposed to be learning about most of the time. I know how to knit now, though." This last part was a rather random statement, but that was Adhara. Sort of... random.

Almas thought on that for a long moment, then gave a thoughtful sound, "Well... maybe its because they can't talk? So they need to greet people in some manner when they first meet them. Maybe their clinging is a way of saying 'Hello'." This was his next guess, he couldn't be really certain of anything just offer up theories.
"Yeah, she is a very busy woman too." He said, remember the times he'd seen her, watching her was enough to make a person tired, "Knitting? What sort of things do you make?"

Adhara thought for a moment more, her irritation at the 'too friendly' comments slowly subsiding with the thought that Reena and Niita were simply unable to greet people any other way. After all, she'd seen people greeting with hugs, or kissing, or handshakes, but her tentacles didn't have the parts needed to do so, and were therefore limited on their ways to show others that they were 'happy to make their acquaintance'. She nodded a few times, smiling a bit at Almas. "I think I like that description the most; it makes the most sense and all," she agreed, her wings fluffing up their feathers a bit beneath the coat before slicking down once more, keeping themselves close to her body.
"Well, I don't really know how t'make that much stuff yet, but I'm learning how to make hats, and I already know how to make scarves," she said, happy that someone was interested in the things that she learned to do when it was too late for anyone to be awake. Then, and idea struck her. "Oh!! Almas, would you want me to make you a scarf or something? It's getting kinda cold out, and I've got a bunch'a pretty colours of yarn at my house...!"

"Things might go better with them if you explain to people that they are just wanting to say 'hello'. That way they won't think that they are up to anything." Though he couldn't be certain that they would always be so innocent, after all Adriel's tentacles had been far from it... the Fallen did his best to keep from flushing and was glad for the change of subject.
"A scarf sounds nice, so long as its not to much of a hassle to make." He murmured, seeming both a little surprised but interested in the idea of getting a gift from someone. It wasn't exactly some thing that one experienced where he came from, "Thank you."

Adhara smiled softly at Almas' suggestion, glad to be... well, happy again, after being so frustrated a very short time ago. She supposed that she wouldn't really mind going back home as of now, even if she wanted to stay and keep talking to Almas for a while, but it was getting cold outside, and if she was out for too long, Noah might start to get all nervous and freaky-outy or something like that. And that wouldn't be good, because then she wouldn't be able to go outside by herself for a really long time.
"Yeah, I'll make sure to tell people that, so they don't get all mad at me. And I'll get to work on your scarf as soon as I get home!!" she said happily, a bright smile adorning her face as she looked around, just to check the 'time', or some form of it. Pushing her glasses up her nose with fingers she could barely feel. "Speakin' of which, I should probably be getting home around now, so that Noah doesn't get all worried about me and stuff. But I'll make sure to come back and bring your scarf as soon as I finish it!!" she exclaimed, taking a step forward to hug Almas around the waist, her tentacles doing the best they could to hug him as well, and letting go at the same time as Adhara had, surprisingly un-clingy for once. She turned to leave then, and waved a hand over her head in farewell. "Buhbye, Almas!! I'll see you soon~!!"
