So, I'm curious, mostly as real aquarium keepers, how do you see the virtual aquariums? Do you like them or are they too unrealistic for you? What are your pet peeves with them?
Personally I like them, though I hate the fact they keep upgrading the amount of fish you can place in them.

Well, I play a lot of them. I bought two virtual softwares that double as screen savers. One is exotic fish and the other is freshwater. It is a lot of fun, really. Not in the same way, but it keeps me interested. <3
I also like the insanly funny insaniaqurium.

I'm torn on the virtual gaia tank. I think it is fun and all, but I really hate that they encourage tapping tanks and how cheesy many of the decorations/fish look (cartoony like the scooter, etc).
