Children were...stressful, especially when they were as emotionally damaged as hers seemed to be. Marion and Elena were depressed at being left, Kyle seemed scared all the time, and Bogey was apparently in the I'm-Going-To-Put-Everything-In-My-Mouth stage (which was incredibly unfortunate, as he had 4 arms to do it with). Finally, all of the kids were in bed and Tyler was free to flop into bed with Avery, falling asleep almost as soon as her head hit the pillow.

Sadly, the universe has a very bad sense of humor. As Ty slept, her spirit floated up a ways above her body and was able to stare down at it. She could view her whole room from there, like she was a ghost but her body looked just asleep. And there before her was a large door. One that the relics upon her neck beckoned her to open.

Tyler was shocked for a moment, fearing she'd died, but then noted her wiggling pendants. Great. Time for more kids, she guessed. It wasn't like she had a choice. She reached out and opened the door.

On the other side was what looked like the middle of a set of steps leading up to a large, highly decorated temple. As Ty passed through the door into this area it vanished, leaving her trapped. She could now see the ornate decorations for a festival all the way at the top. But what her relics drew her towards was at the bottom.
Several bodies lay in odd positions at the bottom of the stairs. The people didn't look like corpses, just completely motionless, lifeless people - like actors in a set that were playing comatose or dead characters. These four lay there, their obviously-not-human forms giving away that these were the last gods shew as to find. That, and the relics beckoning her forward to lay a hand on each of the gods was another good indication.

So Tyler, a bit off-put by the apparently dead (or playing-dead) folks and afraid they may leap out at her, only shuffled closer. She stared down at her necklaces. Alright, alright! One by one, she touched each lifeless face.

Soon as she touched the final one, each figure began to glow, as did the relics. Almost as if they hadn't been solid, the two necklaces became energy, shooting in different directions, into the figures, leaving Tyler's neck empty.
When the ex-relics entered the glowing masses, the figures began to shrink, and low and behold, when it stopped, four somewhat sleepy looking babies were laying on the ground and the door was reopening before her so she could take them all back home and put them to bed.
