"I think I'll try to get some info from some of the members on the ground. I think I remember Batman reporting something odd. I'll start with her first I guess... Then maybe I'll contact Oa and return." Green Lantern said before heading out of the space hull.
Rayner focused his will through his power ring and managed to create a jumbo jetliner with it's own autopilot crafted at the wheel. The mysterious aircraft sailed towards earth at a frightening speed and Kyle relaxed in a first class seat waiting to land.[Exit Towards Cartier's Therapy]

A large meteor quickly floats in from a dark part of outterspace, heading directly for the Justice League Watch Tower. A line of meteors follow after it in the exact same path, simultaneously smashing into the Tower's special defence system and bounce off of it and back into space.
After about an hours worth of this, the meteors simply stop comming, and absolutely no more appear.

Sholeh appeared on the moon not very far from the human's watch tower. There wasn't anyone on or in it, but there would probably still be cameras. And she didn't feel like being on tv.
In fact, she didn't feel like doing much of anything. She had no idea where Mugin was...Alcina was talking to someone, and since the 'others' were quiet (or didn't realize that she could hear them now), she didn't feel like bugging her with her problems just yet. And X...well he had her confused now.
She sat there for a little while and stared at the large planet in front of her. If she went down there, then she'd have to come up with an excuse why she wasn't collecting. Even though she told them all outright that she had her quota, and she wasn't taking any more. Ergh. What to do...? Alcina would...and just might be able to protect her from the rest of them. But they did have power over her...and could easily drag her back to the planet themselves.

After a few long moments of staring at the planet, Sholeh’s mind did begin to wander back to her previous problem. Though it was more about just what awaited her should she refuse to do her job. It was enough to make her quite nervous again. What if they didn’t give her another warning? What if they knew she was just sitting here? What if they came after her now? What if….
At about that time she felt something grab hold of her shoulder. And being on the Moon…well…very few people would be walking around up here. She screamed, jumped and spun in the air to face whoever had grabbed her.
After a long pause, and staring, she blinked. A boy with fluffy hair and a blue leather outfit blinked back at her, with about as much surprise on his face as she had. ”Buh…Burr?” she said quietly.
”Um, hey…” Burr replied.
Sholeh blinked again, then shook her head and glared up at him. ”What is wrong with you? Are you trying to give me a heart attack? And what are you doing here!?” she yelled.
”Well…One; nothing aside from annoyed that I’m missing practice to have a girl scream at me. Two; No, I just tapped your shoulder. You’re the one who freaked out. And three; I’m here to try and convince you to do your stupid job. Otherwise I’m here to replace you.” Burr replied.
Sholeh blinked again. ”Replace…you are going to replace me? They already have a REPLACEMENT for me?!”
”Will you please stop screaming at me. We’re in space for crying out loud. There’s not exactly a lot of noise pollution up here.” Burr grumbled. ”And yes. They were all poking at you at first, but once they got the hintage that you were serious…ohhhh boy. I tell you what, Khorne was not happy.”
Sholeh felt her heart drop. “Khorne…”
”That’s right.” Burr said with a slight grin. ”You don’t do your job, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the freaking ABOLISHER comes after your as-”
”No Way!” Sholeh shouted, cutting him off. ”That’s not his job! That’s Terraco-”
”He’s busy thanks to a little war on another planet. Besides, you know Khorne enjoys the games more than any of them. You think he’s going to let anyone get in the way of that?”
Sholeh was quiet for a moment, then looked away. While her head was turned, Burr allowed himself a small smile. He had no idea if the Abolisher was really that angry at her or not. He was just trying to scare her into doing her job now. It was a good idea anyway. And it seemed to be working.

At the exact same moment, Dr. Steven Strange appeared. He did not look happy. "Alright, if X doesn't start behaving, I swear to God--" Blink. Turn. Oh. How had he not noticed that before he transported? ...Probably because he got here just as I did. "Apologies. I can wait until your conversation with this gentlemen is complete."

Burr turned around and blinked a moment. A human? Up here? "No, dude. That would be my cousin." he replied, thumbing towards the girl in front of them.
While Burr was simply a bit surprised at seeing company, Sholeh again felt her stomach drop. She didn't recognise the guy...at all. He wasn't even on Earth. At least not the entire time she had been watching.

The man sighed. "Alright, then. I am sorry about this..." Then, a dark green energy swirlled around him. Within the space of a few seconds, Jim Corrigan was gone.
The Spectre had appeared. "...The Spectre must deliver vengeance." He approached Sholeh, allowing his aura of pure fear emanate all around him, affecting everyone in the area not on the same magical level as he was. "Sholeh the Chooser. You are guilty of taking lives to fuel the death that others use for their amusement. You make choices that should be reserved for the Alpha and Omega. You aid in the destruction of entire civizations."

Dr. Strange blinked, but did not appear to feel the fear effect. He glanced at the girl... and then back at this strange being. He didn't think that this person, or being, was wrong, but that didn't necessarily mean that she was a bad kid. Probably just conflicted. In any case, he didn't want to step in unless it was really, REALLY necessary. This had the potential to be like that whole fight with Death, if he wasn't mistaken.

Burr's eyes widened, and even though the man wasn't after him, took quite a few steps back away from the two.
Sholeh froze and stared wide eyed at the man. She wanted to move. She wanted to run...but her body just wouldn't budge. "Bu-b-it-it's not-I-I-just-it's-job.." she stuttered, unable to even get the right words out.

"It matters not," the Spectre replied, "Judgement has been passed..."
"Don't you think that you should punish the ones responsible for the crime?" came a disembodied voice. Then, a man appeared, standing right next to Strange.
"This is the one responsible, Phantom Stranger."
"No, she's not, Spectre. She was working under duress. She was forced into it, like a slave. Would you punish the slave for performing the will of its master?"

"Of course not!" Strange put in cheerfully, "In fact, I believe this girl recently got into trouble for letting several of her charges go without the consent of her employers. Is that right?" he asked the girl soothingly.

Sholeh looked from one man to the next. She wanted to answer, but still couldn't find her voice. so she nodded in reply.
Burr watched his cousin a moment, then turned and glanced at the others as well. "He's right..." Burr said quietly, feeling like he should say something on Sholeh's behalf as well. Since she apparently couldn't.
"We don't get to choose if we want to have the job or not. It's a bloodline thing. Last person that decided he wouldn't do it anymore got put in the games himself. You don't want to know what the rule is for the next chooser who quits."

The Spectre merely turned to face the Stranger; his expression made it extremely obvious that there was a river full of bad blood between them. You'd never know it by the Stranger's face, though; he was as expressionless as ever. "You, who was cast out of His host, and you, a mortal, guilty of sins of your own, would tell the deliverer of His vengeance what is right and wrong?"
"Only when we are in the right," the Stranger replied.
"You have no concept of 'the right', Stranger," the Spectre replied, adding a malicious emphasis on the word 'Stranger'. "You were doomed to roam all of His creation, forever separated from Heaven and Hell."
"And I am serving that punishment for my indecision. But you are about to pass judgement on an innocent person, a living being spawned of His benevolence."
"This is no creature of God. The being is from another realm."
"Another realm, but it had to have a creator, yes? And did He not create all that exists?"
