Dion sat on the floor with his arms crossed against his chest and his legs folded. He frowned at the floor and did his best to sit still and ignore the numerous shiny, metal objects around him. Zach was busy talking to some man in a red apron with a piece of plastic pinned to his chest. He had brown hair and a weird face. He wasn't like the men in white and he wasn't like Zach of Em so Dion had no idea who this person could be. Dion had stared at him when they arrived but the man ignored him completely, Dion didn't like that at all. He wanted to look at all the things in this place, all the metal boxes and colored wires. There was so many different things here and so many buttons to push, being forced to sit still was as good as torture.
"Thank you." Zach said to the man with the red apron and the weird face. He turned to Dion with a smile, "Alright buddy." He said despite how Dion frowned up at him. "Ready for an adventure? It's on the second floor." He said as he began to walk off. Dion wasn't happy with the fact that he ignored his obvious anger but he followed anyway. He couldn't stay in that spot any longer, he was practically dieing there.
The two walked silently, Zach holding onto Dions' hand tightly so he wouldn't wander off. Dion couldn't help but slide away towards a different aisle but Zach always pulled him back by his side. Dion continued to frown as they headed to the escalators.

Bailey smiled, holding tightly to his purple little sister's hand as they walked around the store. She had wanted to see the shinies, and he was hoping to pick up a set of headphones and an MP3 player for the child. Looking over prices and hoping to find what he needed at a reasonable cost, the boy allowed his sister to kind of look at everything.
What she actually noticed first was a boy with a pretty tail. "Ooh, you have a tail." she said in surprise. "How cool!" Because Ebony wasn't exactly a very subtle and tactful creature when it came to saying what she liked. Hell, she met most of her friends by saying something about them was pretty.

Neither Zach or Dion had noticed the little girl and her companion. At the sound of her voice Dion spun around and pressed up against the side of Zach. Dion wasn't the most social of children, he frowned at Ebony at first before noticing her pretty purple skin and white wings. His frown changed to a fascinated one but he stayed up against Zach. He held Zach's arm with both hands as he stared at Ebony.
"Hello!" Zach said with a wide smile to both of them. He glanced down to Dion who hadn't made a sound to anyone entire day. "Nice to meet you. You have very pretty wings." Zach said, stepping closer to the two and kneeling down a little. Still, Dion clung to him as he stared between the girl who was around his age and the boy who held her hand. Zach grabbed Dion's hand and pushed him forward which wasn't to Dion's liking. "I'm Zach."
He braced his feet against the floor and did his best to stay where he stood. Zach tugged him hard, forcing him to take a step closer and in front of Zach. "And this is Dion." Zach said, his wide grin never leaving. Dion stared at the girl with a frown. It wasn't meant towards her, more so towards Zach but she just happened to be standing in front of her. Dion focused on her like he normally focused on people. Staring her dead in the eye and seeing how long she could hold his stare without moving. "Say hello Dion." Zach said poking him in his back. Dion didn't say anything.

Bailey grinned. "Hi. I'm Bailey and this is my little sister, Ebony." the red child said with a nod.
Ebby, for her own merit, didn't need to be instructed to greet anyone - she did it of her own accord.
"Thank you, Zach!" she called before turning back to the other kid, "Hi Dion! You have a really nice tail!"

Zach nodded to the two as he poked Dion in the back again. Dion continued to stare at Ebony, frowning slightly but doing nothing more. "I'm taking it that you're her brother?" Zach asked as he placed one hand on Dion's head and pushed down hard. Dion raised his arms in protest and pulled Zach's hand away. He glared at him for a moment before looking back to Ebony. "Hello." He said rather shyly. He had never met someone of his age before and it was obvious that Zach would continue to pester him until he spoke.
"Dion's never met anyone his own age so he'll come off as a little shy at first. Right Dion?" Zach pointed out with a smirk. Dion spun around and attempted to punch Zach but Zach simply placed his hand on his head and held him back. "Don't hit daddy." Zach said as he gently pushed him back.
"He makes funny faces and weird noises!" Dion pointed out, pointing to Zach as he spoke. Zach gave him a look, one that read "is that all you got?" Dion grew furious. "He talks in his sleep too." Dion said, he looked to Ebony this time. "No I don't." Zach said, shooing him off as if he had won this battle. "Yes you do! He says 'Oohh, Em, I didn't know you knew those type of things. You're such a baaaad girl!!'" Dion had been imitating Zach's voice as he spoke. Zach jumped on him before he could say anymore. Placing his hand over Dion's mouth and smiling, "Okay. That's enough." Dion struggled against Zach's grasp but Zach held him. "Anyway, I hope Ebony as much as a handful as this little squirt." Zach said as Dion bite down on his hand with his sharpened teeth. "Ow!"
Zach released him at that and Dion took his chance to jump behind Ebony for protection. Zach rubbed his hand while Dion stuck his tongue out at him. The metal rings surrounding his body turned clockwise while the one around his tail turned counter clock wise. The crystals swayed gently and tapped against Ebony's wings. "Don't go near him. He's weird." Dion said to Ebony, taking her hand and walking a few steps back. "Hey." Zach said with a frown. "I'm not weird. Bailey, am I weird?"

Ebby blinked and looked from Zach to Dion and back a few times before shrugging. "Our brother Kahlua talks in his sleep too. He just mumbles stuff like not liking Canadian bacon." the girl explained with a nod.
"I wouldn't know if you're weird or not. I've known you for about 5 minutes." the red boy said with a laugh. "Though I'm sure you're not the weirdest person around."
Bailey grinned, ruffling his sister's hair. "She's not a handful at all. Ebby behaves herself quite well and is very helpful."

Dion stared at Ebony for a few seconds. "What's Canadian Bacon?" He asked.
"Ah! You see Dion. I'm not the weirdest person around." Zach said with a grin. Dion looked to him for a moment but didn't answer. The look he gave him screamed idiot. Zach looked back to Bailey, allowing the two kids to have some time of their own. "Ebony sounds like an angel. Not that I'm complaining about Dion, he just tends to....get into places." Zach said with a laugh. It was true, Dion was so quiet when he moved that it was impossible to know where he was. Zach had learned early on to never play hide and seek with the boy. The fact that he rarely needed to sleep didn't help the matter.
Dion had begun to examine Ebony's wings. Gently poking at the feathers with his clawed hands and sniffing them. He didn't say anything as he did this, he was much too fascinated with them to say anything.

"I unno." the girl said before turning to watch the other kid checking out her wings. She fluttered them a little as he poked at them, but other than that remained still. After all, she didn't want to disturb him in whatever he was studying.
"I think she is - at least halfway. We got her from some Sevens company or something. She's a combo of Lust and Kindness, I think, but the one hasn't quite kicked in yet - luckily." Bailey laughed a bit at that.

"Sevens company? Gee, that sounds oddly familiar." Zach said, cocking his head to the side as if thinking. "This Seven's place, did it have a bunch of boring looking people dressed in white coats with grouchy faces?" Zach asked him. "Because that would be the same place I picked Dion up from. He's Envy and Diligence." Zach said, casting a glance to the two kids. "I've seen both traits in him. He can't sit still for more then ten seconds and he's always touching everything he see's." Zach paused for a moment, staring at Bailey with a confused expression. "Lust? Ebony has lust?" He asked, making sure he had heard what he had heard despite his delay in reaction.
Dion looked over to Ebony for a moment before flashing a glance to Bailey and Zach. They weren't paying attention to them. Dion took Ebony's hand and placed a clawed finger to his lips, gesturing for absolute silence. He was going to show Ebony something he had seen he had seen when they had entered the store. He held her hand tightly and led her away from Bailey and Zach, tugging her along quickly. "Come, look." He whispered to her as he made his way back to the front of the store.
As they reached the entrance Dion stopped and pointed to the revolving doors that led both inside and out. He watched as people moved in and out of the store, turning the door easily. Dion looked to Ebony. "I bet they turn fast."

Ebby nodded profusely. "Yes! They look fun." she whispered quietly to the other child.
Bailey shrugged and laughed. "Yeah, apparently that's why she's purple and has the black hair and horns. That's the inactive side though."
About that point, he noticed a lack of purple to his side. "Um...were you aware that we've just been ditched?" he asked, raising an eyebrow.

Dion grinned at that. Still holding Ebony's hand, he pulled her forward as he ran for the door. He was quick enough to jump directly into a section as it became available. "Let's make it move really fast." Dion said as they entered.
"Inactive...for now." Zach said some concern in his voice. Bailey's next comment made Zach spin around. "No, I was not aware of that." He said rather calmly. He stood besides Bailey staring at the area in which the children had just been standing. "Knowing Dion...he could be any where by now." Zach said, his shoulders sagging slightly. "Is Ebony one to head in any specific direction?" Zach asked, hopeful. He tried to figure out where Dion might have gone but there were way too many options for him to have make a good guess.

Bailey's eyebrows drooped a bit as he said the next words out of his mouth, "Yeah, after whoever her current new friend is. Hopefully that's just Dion."
Ebby looked shyly around. "We gotta be careful...dun wanna get hurt." she muttered as she followed Dion. But he was the one in charge, so she'd follow him.

Zach sighed, rubbing the back of his head at Bailey's words. Though Bailey did have a point, Zach knew that it would still take them some time to find the two considering Dion's physical need to keep moving. "Hopefully. I'm sure Dion won't do anything to upset her." Zach said with a nod. Dion was a quiet and defensive kid but he was respectful and obedient too. He wouldn't do anything Ebony didn't want him to do unless she got him angry or insulted him in some way. Even then he'd probably still respect her due to her wings and purple skin. "We better start looking for them." Zach said with a half smile, he wasn't too thrilled about having to search for them but the task of a father is to look out for his son and his friends.
Dion nodded to Ebony, he'd be careful but he'd have fun at the same time. "Help me push." He said as he placed both his hands up against the glass and pushed. The door started off slow but steadily began to increase speed and Dion pushed and walked along with the door.

Bailey thought for a bit. "Is there anything moving in the area that might be attractive to small children? Like escalators or something?" he asked, eyebrows quirked a little.
"Eheheehehe!" Ebby giggled quietly as she joined Dion in the pushing, helping the other child pick up the pace. This was fun!

Dion laughed along side Ebony, their laughter stretched beyond the revolving doors and grew louder every time their section of the door opened up either to the outside or inside. As they increased speed the scene became a blur and a crowd began to form. Dion had no intention of stopping anytime soon despite how he was growing dizzy and a little nauseous as time progressed. The two were moving so fast that Dion lost track of time and space. As they continued around and around Dion's tail slipped too close to the the opening of their section and as they made another turn around the metal ring got caught in between the door and the doors frame. There was a metallic crunch as the metal ring bent in between the two and Dion was yanked back as the ring grew tight around his tail and pinned it there. Dion pulled back hard, slamming into Ebony and losing his balance. He released a yelp of surprised and pain as he landed on his bottom with a thud. He turned his head around fast and inspected the damage.
He was stuck there, the metal of the ring hadn't broken but simply bent tightly around his tail and held both the door and him in place. Dion tugged at it and winced. It seemed like it would hurt but it didn't and Dion was grateful. "I'm stuck." Dion said with a frown as he looked to Ebony. He tugged at his tail again, this time harder then before but nothing happened. He looked back to Ebony, remembering that he had smacked into her before, and asked "Are you okay?" He tugged at his tail one more time but it was no use. The metal ring around his upper body began to rotate slightly faster as Dion frowned and began to think.
There was a tapping on the glass that pulled Dion's attention away from his tail. There was a tall man in a blue shirt and pants and a shiny badge. He had short brown hair and a pointy nose. He frowned at the two of them, tapping on the glass again to make sure he had their attention. He lifted his index finger and pointed to the two of them before bending it in his direction. Dion had sen that gesture before, Emilie used it on him when he was in trouble. It meant that he had to go over to that person and it was usually followed by a scolding. But Dion hadn't done anything wrong, he was just having fun with Ebony Dion looked to Ebony, would se get in trouble too? It was his idea, would Emilie get scolded too? No, they hadn't done anything wrong. Dion ignored the man and tugged at his tail again. The man tapped on the glass again. And again. And again. He continued to do so until Dion turned around and smacked the glass with his hand. He frowned at the man and stuck his tongue out at him. He didn't seem to like that. The man continued to tap on the glass with a deeper frown before he tried to pull the door back, Dion was dragged with the door as it moved, shouting in fear and falling on top of Ebony as he did so.
Zach thought for a moment. "Well we were just by the escalator but I hadn't seen them go in that direction, I'd have noticed them." Zach said as he glanced back over to where they had been standing before. "Maybe the entrance? There were a few revolving doors that I saw Dion stare at." Zach said as he changed their direction to the front of the building. "If you don't mind me being nosy." Zach begun, he hated walking in silence, it bored him and made him uneasy. Bailey was an easy kid to talk to, why not grasp the opportunity? Besides, he seemed like a cool kid and Zach's question wasn't really that personal unless the person was very secretive. "How many siblings do you have?" Zach asked. "You're pretty easy going for an older brother with a little sister who's got the lust gene. If it were me I'd be a little worried." Zach said with a laugh, he was paranoid enough with Alice being in Shah's care. Lord knows what he was doing to the poor girl. "I can't help but ask if you've had some experience in the big brother department." Zach said with curiosity.
