Along the craggy coastline of a distant body of water, an ocean you may call it, a black furred lioness walks silently through the damp sand, deeply in thought with herself. Her fellow friend, a bird, sat quietly at the tip of her tail. Sverrir, they called him. His red eyes gleam in the midst of the darkness. Ocean waves sprung up onto the shore, crawling up past the lioness' paws. Leliel, hardly noticing the cold brush of the water against her paws, continued straying alongside the sandy path. Her eyes narrow and sullen and she remains just as quiet as Sverrir.
The moon was bright and full, not a single cloud in the sky to disrupt this peaceful night. Only the sounds of the small waves upon the distant lands can be heard.

Waking from his slumber the solemn lion rose to his feet. He would get no more sleep for a while. Yuu was still mourning for his family, Lost to him on that horrible day; no longer would he feel love all he felt now was pain and loyalties to his beloved family. He would never leave this shoreline… Never.
Pale blue eyes stared at the bright moon, not a single cloud in site to hide the beams of light reflecting off the white surface. The water lapped rhythmically upon the sandy shore. The lion folded his black wings against his side.
Still the questions lingered even after many years. Who killed his family? Why?

A slight wind had pushed itself onto the shores of the lonely beach, forcing the lioness' wings to flow violently with the force of the wind. With her black fur, her white wings seemed to 'glow' within the darkness of the night. No one knows where this lioness came from, who her parents even were, some may even call her a stray. Most who would try to confront Leliel would find themselves speaking to air as Leliel would have already vanished. She was shy, and hardly ever spoke to anyone. Sverrir was an exception.
As Leliel continued walking the path to no where, Sverrir had spotted, what he thought to be, a figure with his keen eyes. He unfolded his pitch black wings and let out a squawk that even caught Leliel's attention and broke her sudden zombie-like trance. Her pacing stops as she stands her ground and looks around almost nervously at any visitors who may be near to join, or interupt, her night on the beach.

Yuu suddenly realized some one was here after hearing a loud squawk from nearby. Who was it? He growled for a moment thinking maybe 'they' had finally come back. But it was only another lioness, and he realized that quickly before he let himself become lost in any foolish action.
"Sorry, I thought you where some one else." he said simlply incase he had scared her.
He returned to watching the sky quietly.

The sudden growling had the fur standing up on Leliel's back, but it slowly inches downward as her teeth remain gritted together from shock. Sverrir flaps his wings yet remains on his one spot on Leliel's tail. Her eyes glance around the area before she eventually sits down. She gives no response to Yuu's statement, and both her and Sverrir are stuck in a stare towards him. Leliel being, of course, too afraid to speak, nearly lifts a paw to walk away, still without words, but something makes her feel as if she should stay. Leliel gives Yuu a small growl in response, but they soon turn into words as if it were simply a curl of the tongue. "Someone...else?"

Giving no immediate response Yuu continues to gaze out at the dark ocean. The two pairs of eyes that stare at him went unnoticed as he seemed rather comfortable as though he had been stared at often for just sitting there.
"Yes someone else," he said finally glancing sadly over to the graves of his loved ones. "A murder..." He didn't seem to mind her company either, sh wasn't calling him foolish at least not yet.

In complete curiosity, Leliel looked over towards the spot Yuu had his eyes set on. Almost at the very sight of the graves, her eyes widened, yet not knowing what to think, or say, if she could say anything at all. Sverrir preferred picking at his feathers rather than getting involved at all, all the while Leliel's eyes couldnt help but stare more. Not at Yuu, but at the graves. Her curiosity peaked with the highest intent of asking, but in her knowing of how rude it would be, she refrains. Again, she musters out more softer words, almost as in a whisper, "I'm...sorry. What a terrible thing... Who would-...why?"

Shaking his head Yuu frowned "I would like to know that myself," he said sadly. All of them... gone in an instant as though they had never lived at all. He would forever remember they had been there and so they would still live within himself.
"It's been many years since it happened. Yet I cannot bring myself to leave this place and I hope that monster returns so that I may do to him what he has done to me" He said quietly more to himself than her. He turned his head away from the ocean for the first time since he had begun to speak to her.
"I'm Yuu."

Before Leliel could speak once more Sverrir, like an annoying parrot, recites the name he's heard many times before and had finally learned to say. "Le-Leliel!" He squeaks loudly, before Leliel tosses him into a mound of sand simply by jerking her tail to the side. She still remains her ground, not wanting to invade Yuu's personal space or offending. "...I would love to see you bring such a foul being to justice for the horrible thing he has done...'Yuu'." She gives a small, polite bow. Leliel looks down at her claws, which had unintentionally splayed themselves outwards against the sand, with her own intentions of getting revenge against one she had known before.
Sverrir had made his way back onto Leliel's tail, shaking the sand off of his feathers like a canine would, and eventually finding himself to re-enter his calm-state of mind.

"A pleasure Leliel" he responded rather amused but the little bird. He turned back toward the ocean, "As would I" he said remorsefully "As would I" he frowned sadly again as he thought of his family, if only he hadn't left in a fury he could have died with his brother and sister or... or perhaps they might even still be alive.
"You should leave his forsaken place Leliel," he told her "I can escort you to safety if you'd like." He’d rather not leave her alone here. It could be dangerous. He worries were founded but bordering on the irrational. They had not returned for so many years now…

Leliel huffs, her breath appearing before her face from the cold night, not even the swaying ocean had enough power to keep it the least bit warm. "Not forsaken, only haunted by an unforgettable vengeance." She doesnt hesitate to shake her head in a way that signals that she doesnt want to leave. Leliel shuffles past Yuu, almost in baby steps, but not to leave their current area, only to find a spot nearby so she would be able to leave him to his own space, yet still keep an eye out for him. Still, it would take her a while to get there by the slow pace she's walking. "I would much rather stay. But, I wont get in your way...I assure you."

"That in itself is also true," Yuu allowed him an amused smile; she had spirit he had to give her that at least. Yuu thought back to his beloved mate had been spirited too she was wonderful he remembered, kind high spirited and courageous. She had been a wonderful lion. Until that say, he dug his claws into the sand he still couldn’t understand who could have honestly done this…
He snapped from his trance, Leliel was leaving he had been devoid of contact for so long, he actually wanted to talk to her.
“If you wish to stay you may, but be careful please.” He warned He didn’t want an innocent girl to get murdered for nothing.

Leliel continued to walk her slow pace with her tail padding itself against the air from side to side, she eventually turns her head back with an unintentional puckered lower lip. Worried for his sake, really, by how convinced he is of how dangerous the area is, when she had just arrived and barely knows of said danger. "It seriously can't be that dangerous?" Leliel stops walking and turns her body around halfway to face Yuu, she wants to smile, but her dull, sullen expression continues to show. "Either way...I'd love to be involved in a dangerous situation, if it meant getting a thrill out of it." Upon turning herself around fully now, she heads back in Yuu's direction with more of a speedier trot.

Yuu nodded gravely "Indeed it can," something had massacred his family and yet he knew nothing about the creature it left no traces like a haunting ghost. He growled slightly frustrated,
“Have you heard anything that happened similarly to this?” he asked her, maybe it really had moved places. But He honestly couldn’t think of where.
Yuu looked at her disappointed frowning he spoke “A thrill? You are young aren’t you? Leliel.” He looked amused for a moment.
Thrills where for the young and energetic ones with boundless curiosity not him anymore. Once when he was young he had been like that once long ago. He explored and searched out danger he found his mate that way

"Young on the inside, maybe..."
Leliel padded past Yuu a few inches away only to fall over on the sand and roll around in it as if it were snow. Sverrir is forced off of her tail so he doesnt have to reclean his feathers one by one again. He flaps violently around Leliel's head to try and get her to stop, but no use, as he hovers over towards Yuu to perch on his head.
After rolling for a few seconds, Leliel crawls back up onto her feet with a sudden shake to shake off the bits of sand.
"Now THAT. That was pure energy."
Leliel speaks in a higher tone than before, as if she's becoming accustomed to Yuu's presence. But, her tone quickly dies down afterwards. "No, I've never heard of such murderous acts before. For food, maybe..."
