 Ducking her white, blue, purple and black colored head as she walked out of the forest, into the meadow surarounded by a large steam. Looking around she takes in everything around her, making sure that it was safe to head for the steam. Not seeing anyone else she lets her guard down a little and heads for the steam, to get a drink. She had traveled far and early in the morning to reach this place from her deep garden home on the otherside of the forest near the coast.
Finally getting there she leans her head down to get a drink, as she did the cold water touched her lips she sighed in happyness and took a quick drink rising her head she heads for a small hill not far for the steam to take a nap, for a little while. Laying down slowly she folds her legs undernath her relaxing farther, and drifts off to sleep.

 Diego circled the clearing for a while before sunlight glinted off the stream and alerted him that it was there. Perfect! He'd been enjoying the sky for a while now today and a cool drink sounded like exactly what he wanted. So he spiraled downward until his feet touched the ground and he trotted to a stop, gave himself a good shake to get his feathers into place, and folded his wings. Then he headed toward the water, already licking his lips. He'd thought there was nobody here. He'd thought wrong. Well. If there mare had chosen this place to sleep, he could go somewhere else, he supposed. Downstream, so he could drink and she could dream. Except that he stepped on a small branch as he turned to go. It cracked beneath his hoof loudly enough to echo off the surrounding trees. Wings tensing, he ducked his head and looked back toward the mare. "Sorry."

Bella deep asleep starts to dream unaware that someone else was in the meadow and not far from where she was taking a nap, hearing the snapping of a brunch she starts to wake up.
Opening her eyes she opens her eyes and jumps to her feet as fast as she could, looking around. Seeing a stallion tense, with his head down looking at her she smiles at him to let him know that she glad that if was another soquili and not something that she would nether have to run from. " It's okie, I shouldn't really be out here in the open sleeping anyways, thank you for waking me up sir." She watches him and streaches lowly trying ease him a little.
She smiles again " I'm Bella." She takes her eyes of him and looks around at the meadow, making sure that it was still save and there was nothing lurking in the woods, she had been around a lot of wired things and it had made her a little unsure of the suraroundings.

"Diego," he answered with a bob of his head, a little shuffle of feathers and a smile. He looked around the clearing as well. "This might not be the safest place to sleep, especially alone, but I didn't see any troubles from above. I don't think anything was sneaking up on you." Ears flicking forward, he asked, "Did you have a nice dream?"

Bella smiles and bowes " pleased to meet you Diego." She looks around again " you may be right about that, that may be differcult since I don't have anyone that is likely to come with me, since I live alone, and I don't have many firends that be willing to travel beside me." She turns her eyes to the ground to keep from looking sad, or for him to notice her loneness. "Would you like to take a walk with me?" She looks back and smiles sweetly at him

"You don't have a herd?" He always had so the idea struck him as odd in the extreme. Then again, there were a lot of things he'd heard that caught him off guard. He'd just have to add this to the list. And question asked, he forgot to be surprised and smiled instead. "I can take a walk with you, of course. I just wanted to get a drink, but then we can walk. He stepped to the stream and lowered his head to get a few mouthfuls before he was ready to go.

" No, I have choosen to stay away such things, and everyone I have ever met has never asked about me that." She smiles again, " thank you Deigo." Watching him walk to the steam, lowering his head, she turns her eyes away to keep a lookout for him, seeing nothing she turns her head back to towards him, just enjoying been with someone else, she loved been with company, thinking about where they could go there was a Apple orchard, not to far from where they were, with a nice breeze, they would be able to smell the apples.

Diego lifted his head and licked as much of the water off his muzzle as he could. There were still a few drips, but he wasn't drooling. Diego most certainly did not drool. He went back to Bella's side and looked toward both ends of the clearing. "Which way do you want to go?"

She smiles at him " there is a very lovely Apple orchard down the path there, the apples there are some of the best." She smiles taking a step towards the path. " Do you have a herd?" She hoped that he wouldn't mind her question as they walked. She felt safe around him which nomal for her, how she longed to have somewhere where she belonged.

Oh, apples. That was all she had to say. Diego perked right up and smiled brightly. "Apples are good." He let her choose the direction but he stayed close. Even if she hadn't been friendly, there were apples in the offering. "I have a herd. Well. It's not my herd. I'm not mated to any of the mares, but we stay together."

Bella giggles at him he was funny when he perked and smiled like that " yes, if you eat to many you turn red." She smiled sweetly and kept walking beside him enjoying the fun she was having, it had been a long time, since she had joked around. "You are kind of like a family then, that is good that you have others to be with, they must be good company."
As they neared the path, she stops to look at the low hanging brush that was hanging lowly in the middle of the path, starting to walk foward towords it she ducks her head prepearing to go under " You'll have to duck your head a bit here." Once though she rises her head and notices a slight breeze coming from the direction of the orchard licking her lips " umm they small ripe and juicey, the orchard is just around that bend." she turns her head to watch him as she starts to head father up the trail.

He'd never heard that before, and his ears came forward again, this time in alarm. "Too many apples turns you red? Not that he was in much danger of changing colors that dramatically, even if it was true. "I guess we're like a family, in a way. They're not so bad," he confessed. "Noisy and nosy sometimes, but not so bad.
Diego ducked his head to avoid the branch as best he could. He still ended up giving himself a shake and resettling his wings after the branch slid down his back. He could smell the apples too and he whickered appreciatively. "Smells like everything's ripe in there.

She nods softly " I'm sorry for my poor joke earlyer about the apples they don't turn you red just your mouth sometimes, they really do sound like siblings, are you glad you have them? This is one of the best places to find ripe ones" As they start to turn the bend she smiles again
Once around the bend she stops taking in the sight of the orchard with it's apple trees covered in big juicey apples, the tell sweet grass around the turk of the trees and the colorful butterflies flying around the grass and branches of the trees, there was also a small pond in the center of the trees

Diego was completely distracted by the apples. So much so that he'd forgotten the question. "Am I glad I have wha--oh! The herd? His wings rustled. "I don't think I'd like living alone, so having a herd is better. There are good and bad days.
He licked his lips. "Do you think the apples at the top of the trees are better?"

Bella smiles and nods " I don't like living on my own but I have a feeling that I will never be in a herd, I'm stuborn for that, I wish I had someone to talk to on my bad days."
watching him lick his lips she looks up at the highest branches and smiles "yes, they at lease look better to me then the ones are the lower branches, could you reach them without hurting yourself?"
