Charlemagne Dartsmoore had found out a few things when he'd come to this planet. Firstly, that he had an alternate self here. Second, that he really liked certain styles of art. Third, that tall men are really sexy. But one of the most important things he'd learned was that Chinese food freaking rocked. China wasn't exactly a place where he'd come from, so he had never tried that kind of food, and now he loved it. It had practically become a ritual for him to go out for Chinese at least once a week.
That evening, he was sporting a high collared, sleeveless shirt that revealed both the piece Odin had done on his one arm, and a large extension of a back piece on the other side. What was visible was part of a black feathered wing, with blood drops flying out from it, two snakes with fangs bared twisting out and aiming towards attacking each other from opposite directions, and what seemed like a dying lily, stained and dripping with blood on the ends, that wrapped around his bicep. And it looked very new.
When the man entered the restaurant, he was surprised to notice Odin already sitting in there. He wasn't surprised that the man ate Chinese food or would be at a restaurant, mostly just that he happened to be in that one at the same time as Charlie. He half wondered if he should say hello...not that he knew the guy well at all.

Odin, however, was always one to greet a familiar face. He smiled, eyes crinkling, mouth full of delicious, delicious noodles, and gave a little wave. He neither invited Charlie to join him, nor did he shove him away. It was all up to the white-haired man!

Leaving things up to Charlie is generally a bad idea. Particularly since he's usually too lax about some things to really make a concrete decision. However, for once, the situation was decent. Since Odin had waved, he decided it was reasonable to walk over and say hello.
He did approach, though he waited till the man had finished that mouthful of noodles to speak. "Hey. Not seen you in a while. How have you been?" he asked, his voice soft, tone somewhat strained at the edges. He still wasn't particularly good with these conversational bits.

"Pretty good! You? See ya got some new ink!"
Cliche, horrible ink, but good people got bad tattoos. It was a fact of life.
"Y'can sit down if y'want. I just started."

"Yes. It's too bad the good part's not visible. It looks really stupid otherwise. Ixxie found her way to this dimension and has been in Aekea. She figured now would be a good time to finish one of her older pieces." he explained with a shrug as he took the offered seat.

Odin just shrugged and waved a waitress over. It didn't look like you were going to get any tome to decide, Charlie!

Luckily for Charlie, he was enough of a creature of habit to know what he wanted today. He tended to get similar things when he went - unlike with most places, some Chinese dishes appealed to him more. One of which was General Tso's Chicken, which he loved the sauce on.
After he'd finished with the waitress he turned back to the other guy. "How's business been? Had any interesting customers as of late?"

"I tattooed a girl's cooch the other day," Odin chuckled, "Other than that, just the average."

"That sounds minorly unpleasant, at least to me. What the hell did she have you put there?" Charlie asked, an eyebrow raised.

"Orchid. She thought it was new and elegant," Odin shrugged, "And, yeah. I'm not one for girly bits."

"I don't think anything in that area is elegant at all, but I'm not the one who was paying for it so..." he mentioned before giving his shoulder a glance, "Not that my taste seems much better. Ixxie really does need to think which parts of her work are going to be visible before she finishes a design. Woman doesn't listen to me.....not that most of them do."

"Hey, I've seen weirder," Odin said with a little shrug and finished off a sugar bun as Charlie was brought his food.

The meal continued in silence until Odin reached up and scratched the back of his neck.
"Hey. Wan' me t'get some Jiu?"

"Sure, if you want." he answered, taking another bite of his chicken. "I'm not opposed to that."
