I've only been playing since for 5 months now, so I'm not very good yet, but I can manage a few tunes. I can play:

Paint It Black by the Rolling Stones
Polly by Nirvana
I Will Follow You Into the Dark by Death Cab For Cutie
Bones of Baby Dolls by Acid Bath
Rasputin by Turisas
the main riff of Clean My Wounds by Corrosion of Conformity
parts of Scream of the Butterfly by Acid Bath
the intro to Crazy Train by Ozzy
the main riff of Sweet Child of Mine by Guns n' Roses
the intro to One by Metallica
Stop, I'm Already Dead by Deadboy & the Elephantmen

And that's it. What about you guys? I know a lot of you are really good and in bands in stuff, so what can/do you play?

i actually tend to not learn entire songs. i learn riffs and licks and other parts i like, but not really the whole song. analyzing the riffs and such i like helps me to write my own good riffs though. when it comes to songs i know in their entirety, they're mostly really simple folk and punk songs, but that doesnt reflect the kind of stuff i normally play.

You mean the little disco part? xd The part right after that is so fun to play, I can just repeatedly play the main riff over and over.

I can play the rhythm for the whole thing plus the intro with the tabs in front of me.

I was surprised with how easy of a song it is, you can play the whole intro within an area of four or five frets. I might even go as far as to say that Rasputin (a metal song) was easier for me to learn than I Will Follow You Into the Dark (a folk tune). Weird. neutral

Yeah, Rasputin's pretty easy, especially because its the cover of a disco song. Do you play all the accordian/violin parts, or the rhythm?

I play the violin parts sometimes and the rhytm part sometimes. And sometimes I just go off on a tangent and do what I please.

I don't really know any full songs... mostly play improvised blues guitar.

I suck, though :S

I forgot most of the covers I can play, I mostly just write my own stuff now, I find that more fun.

Warrior of Metal on the guitar!

Slow day on Gaia+All the intertubes+Guitar+Ghetto recording equipment=Cover of Guardians of Fate. I guess I'll share with you all

I apologize in advance for any bleeding ears, I'm using a crappy amp, plugged into my crappy computer, and I'm recording on crappy audacity, so it sounds like s**t, but you can get the idea that I do know how to play the song, I suppose.

I'm really trying to get back with my buddy rob and record again. We more or less have half a song on our my space... I might get a cheap mic and hop on the ambient side project band wagon. Kinda to the style of Boris's Flood.

I'm working on learning the leads for the whole thing, I may cover it. I learned the intro part on keyboard, set it to accordion, and its just like the real thing!

I've learned these on bass:
Black Sabbath - Electric Funeral
Black Sabbath - NIB
Candlemass - Solitude
Candlemass - At the Gallows End
Pentagram - When The Scream Comes
Saint Vitus - One Mind

Mostly just the main riffs though, not the full songs.
