It's fairly well-known that people who write poetry tend to be, well, a bit distractable. At least this poet is, though in truth the word 'poet' doesn't apply quite nearly as well as 'writer'. Using such a genre-specific word to describe ones' self is a little bit silly, else there is no room for growth and expansion in writing skills.
Distractable is not, however, meant to be a collection of one sole writers' work, but a place for the entire guild to show off their poetry prowress (or, in some cases, perhaps their lack thereof). This writer knows that everyone in here has talent, and wants to see it.

Thread Rules Because I don't want things to get out of hand and because I'm slightly OCD about neatness. 1. Don't flame others' poetry. If you want to say where things could be fixed, that's fine. If you want to say it's absolutely horrible and desperately needs change, that's fine- with a catch. That being that you'd better have some pretty good suggestions. 2. When posting a poem, use the following format: underline the title, skip a single line between stanzas (if necessary), and skip four lines between poems so that nobody gets confused. I will edit your posts for you if you fail to adhere to this. If the poem doesn't have a title, call it "Untitled". 3. At the bottom right hand corner of each post, make a small note about whether or not you allow critique on the poem(s) in that post. Yes, that means use the right align tags. I'm sure you know where to find them.

I'll be able to put some up when I'm on my computer that actually has poetry saved on it. For the moment, you'll have to do without mine. xD
