HOW OUR GUILD WORKS - A Quick 411 on our Guild...PLEASE READ

For some of you who are new to Gaia in general, who are just new to the guild circuit or perhaps just overwhelmed at the size of our guild, I have created a little something to help you out. I know that the size of our guild is a bit much for some but once you understand how it is laid out then you will see how easy it is to move around inside it as if it were just two forums.

Some of the details that I am going to speak of may be helpful to all but some things I am sure some of you already know. I just wanted to start at the beginning so that way everyone who reads this would be informed. For those details you already know, just skip over them and move on and for those who are new to guilds and Gaia - this I hope will be extra helpful to you.

All of the information that I am putting in this forum comes from members who have asked the questions. I thought I would just take all the questions, put them together and give you all the info all at one time.

Remember, if you have any questions you can contact any of the crew members or myself and ask questions. Do not ever be afraid to ask thinking that your question is stupid - there are no stupid questions if you are just wanting to know how to do something. Please remember also if you are trying to reach me, my pm's are blocked except for friends (which are guild members..lol) so just send me a friend request if I have not sent you one already.

How to Find Us

For those of you who are new to guilds in general this is the way to find us on your tab page. Most of you know this already but I have been asked from time to time how members get back to the guild each day so I wanted to add this just in case someone needed to know.


First off you will go to your "Forums" tab - when you place your cursor on it then you will be able to see a list fall down. Click on the "Guilds" tab and it will open a new page.

On that page you will see a list of the guilds that you are in .. whether it is one or ten - the list will be on that page. Just scroll down to you see our name and click on it (I think you will have to click it twice) - from there it will take you to the main page of the guild.

Finding the Forums

From the "Welcome Page" (where the guild always opens .... remember this changes from time to time) .... you will need to move into the heart of the guild or rather where the forums are. To do this you will simply look to the top left of your screen. You will see several tabs regarding the guild. You will need to click on the "Forums" Tab. Here is what the tabs look like.

After clicking on the forums tab you are now in the main section of the guild. All of the forums are laid out into sections and each section has related topics in it. (I will discuss those in detail in a moment). Take the time to read each forum. Basically what you see as a title in that forum will tell you what information is inside of it. Just make sure to read them all so that you know the different subjects that we offer. We have a wide variety of subjects so just take the time to read each one so that you understand them. (I will give you a detailed description in the next post).

** SPECIAL NOTATION .... The "Guild Home" tab will always take you back to the main welcome page. The "Members List" tab will show you a list of all of the members. The "Moderator Panel" tab is for the crew members only. It is used by the captain, vice captain and crew to monitor the internal components of the guild and is not accessible to members so don't worry if you do not see that or if it does and you cannot get into it.

About our Forums and Layout

**Please take note that our forums change from time to time so the list that you see below may not reflect a recent move or change of the forums. This information is just to help you relate to how we organize our forums.**

When you get to the forums page you will see a list of multiple forums. We have a lot and it is very shocking and overwhelming to some but once you know how to move around in them and understand them it is as easy as brushing your teeth (lol).

I will, in this post, begin to break the forums down for you in sections and tell you about them so that you will better understand the layout. First of all you will notice that there are a lot of blank forums (or blank lines) these were inputted to make the sections separated and easier to follow. It is much easier to find things in sections than all mixed up together so that is the reason you will see the blank spaces. The blank lines (which are actually forums with no names) are locked and you cannot access them. They are for separation only.


Now let's begin with the top of the forum list.

SECTION ONE - -

**Rules and Guidelines - All the rules of the guild and any additional information that is subject to that which you should know before you begin posting in the guild.


SECTION TWO - -

**Members Inner Space - Is a forum designed so that you can show and tell us all about you. This of it as your very own myspace - except on Gaia. Post all your info as well as pictures and be as creative as you want. After all it is your space.

**Meet your Members and Crew - Is a great place to start off with your posting. Say hello to all the members and look through other post to see who else is in the guild.


SECTION THREE - -

**SE Gaia Community Discussion - Go in and get the 411 on what is going on with the rest of the site. This is for anything that has to deal with the general gaia pages and can be anything dealing with what you think to questions on how to do certain things.

**General Chatter - Well it is what is says just a chatter box. A place for whatever is on your mind and the time. Meet your fellow members for some quick chatter.

**Extended Discussions/Debates - Voice your opinions on things that are considered extended topics. That means your opinions and do NOT go in there with the intent to just flame someone. Everyone in this guild has the right to voice their own opinion without the fear of someone else calling the names for it.


SECTION FOUR - -

**SE Market Place - In this forum you can buy and sell, trade, give away items. Whatever your purpose this is the place to put it. If you need help on setting up an auction you can contact any one of your crew or me and any of us will be glad to help.

**SE Job market - Get yourself more involved in the guild while making some extra gold. We offer a variety of jobs to our members. Find the best job for you and get signed up.

**SE Point Redemption Center - Earn SE Points by placing post in the guild. Then use those points to play lottos, games, buy items and even more. This is a new forum and we are adding new things all the time so don't miss your chance to make your post really pay off.

**Dream Avi and Item Request - Great place to post your dream avi information as well as those who just are questing for one item. It is not a begging forum so please do not go in there and beg. It is for showing others what you are needing and letting them help you. Remember - most of the members who donate in there look to see if you are active in the guild and if you are not active your chances of getting anything are very slim.

SECTION FIVE -

**Crazy Quizzes - And the name speaks for itself. This forum is packed full of all kinds of fun and wacky quizes to put you to the test. Find out what members are most like you and maybe learn something new and fun along the way.

**Games for Fun - Forum filled with all kinds of neat and crazy games to pass the time and have some fun with the other members. Just remember the games are fun so don't get personal in there - everyone is just having a good time and is not picking on you. It is all about the game.

**Polls, Polls and More - This is where all those polls you always seem to want to make are to go. It is for POLLS only so fill it up, vote, comment or whatever .... this is all about and nothing more than just polls.

**Jokes and Funny Pics - Well does that not say it. You are going to find all our members being funny and having a good time in there. From funny pictures they have found to pages and pages of crazy jokes. If you want to have a smile each day it is the place for you!



SECTION SIX -

**Games for Gold - Filled with music, tv and movie trivia along with games, dice and more to make some quick gold on the guild. Feel lucky then get to the games.

**Lottos and More - Just what is says - filled with nothing but lottos giving away not only gold but items as well. Get in and sign yourself up. We always have these up and ready for members to get involved in.

**Completed Monthly Contest - These are the contest that we have had per month on the guild. The contest are over but you can see at least what we have done and how much we love to give away.

**Completed Surprise Contest - These are the surprise contest that have ended and like the monthly contest will show you what kind of insane things we come up with for you to make gold. All surprise contest are posted in the announcements first and when they are over are moved to the archive forum to show what we have done.



SECTION SEVEN -

**Music Room - has all the information on what bands the members think are hot to what instrument they play at school. If music is your game you have found the forum of your dreams right here. It is packed with all the info you can handle and if it is not there, then add a new topic and share with us yours!

**Art Room - This is for showing off your artwork, looking at others, getting opinions and help. It is not for selling your artwork so don't try it in there - it is just about sharing your passion and love of art.

**Anime Incentive - All the information and chatter about what is hot and what is not in the anime world. If you love anime you are going to love this forum!

**Arts and Crafts - Just a little info for the craft lovers out there to like to make things and share with others on how they did it. Learn some great tips from our members on holiday decorations to just something wild and crazy. It is all about crafts.

SECTION EIGHT -

**Video Game Room - If your a gamer this forum is for you. Share your tips, cheats, codes or just chatter about the games. If it is video games you crave this forum will be your new home.

**Video Viewing Room - Watch our collection of funny, crazy, scary and unorthodox videos. Put it your own and share with the members what you like to watch when it comes to videos and movie trailers.

**Movie Gallery - All the movies you can stand in one place. Share your thoughts on what got the two thumbs up or the two thumbs down. If it is a movie you love - this forum is right up your alley.

**Hollywood Hotties - Got a favorite hunk or hottie - then share the info with the rest of us. From gossip to the history of Hollywood's hottest - it is all right here.

**TV Shows and Series - Talk about and share what you are watching and love to watch. If it comes on tv is has to be here.



SECTION NINE -

**Greatest Places to Visit - Just want it says. If you have found a spot and love it then share it with others. Places of interest are always something to be talked about. You never know when you will want to visit a place and just needed a little 411 on where to go.

**Dream Keeper - If you have the dreams, this is where you share it. Learn about your dreams, the dreams of others and get their opinions on what they think about your dreams and what they mean.

**Astrological Signs - If it is written in the stars you will find it here. Learn about your astrological sign and how if any they effect how or who you are. Also get your latest horoscope information on when your lucky day will arrive.

**Cooking 411 - The members favorite dishes to some that everyone needs to try. Filled with wild creative cooking ideas and the 411 on how to get it done easy.

**Health and Beauty - Learn tips of the trade on keeping yourself at the very best of your game. From what to wear to what not to wear and everything in between.

**Life Issues - Having a problem with life in general and need a little help, then this is a great forum for you. Share your thoughts and fears with others and let them help you out on those matters that you are confused about. From parents to school to boyfriends and girlfriends - it is all right here.



SECTION TEN -

**Short Stories - Write them, read them or just love them, this forum is filled with all the members favorites as well as the ones they have done themselves. Love to write, share some with us.

**Poems - If you can write them, just love to read them or think of yourself as a create critic, here is the place for the members poems. No matter if it is just a favorite or one of your own this is the forum to put it in.

**Creative Writing - If you can create stories that others would love to read or just love to read longer stories, this forum is filled with stories from none other than our members. Read the stories and give them your opinion on what is hot and what is not. But be nice.

**Book Review - One of my favorites. If you love to read and want to tell us what and by who this forum is made for you. I love to read and find myself looking in this one all the time to get the 411 on what book to choose next. If your looking for a book to read or just want to tell us about which ones you have - this forum has plenty of room for all your thoughts.

**Foreign Languages - Speak it, write it, love it or just want to learn it = this forum is right for you. Shared your information on the ways to learn the language and the quick and simple words that everyone should know. Share your thoughts and help someone out along the way.

SECTION ELEVEN - This section consist of the more adult topics and chatter about different things that some of us just wanted to talk about. The section grows from time to time but all of the forums in this section are of more an adult nature and may not be suitable for younger members.

**The b***h Zone - Got issues and need to let off some steam - this is the forum for it. Although it is called the b***h zone, please watch your language. No one has to go wild with the cursing to make a point. Use the **** if you have to get that wild.

**The Dark Side - From vampires to ghost to warewolves and all the other things that get your heart rate up. This is the forum for all the information on the things that you love about the darker side of life.

**Forensics and Serial Killers - This is just a personal forum of mine that I enjoy and added it in for the fun of it. If you are into forensics and serial killers this is a great place for you to post your favorites.

**Witches and Wicca - This is another personal forum and if you are interested in the Wiccan way of life it is a great forum. Please do not use this as a personal issue forum - if you want to know more about wiccans or their beliefs then this is a great place to learn all about it.

**Alternative Lifestyles - For those that leave off the beaten path we have a forum when you can be who you are. No pretending just good old fashion talk between those with the same interest. Whether your bi, gay, gothic or demonic this forum is made for you. Feel comfortable for who are and let others appreciate you for it as well.

**Cuddle Zone - Ever feel the need to just be hugged. Well here is the spot for you. Create your very own personal chat page to where your friends and you can curl up and chat for hours. There is no specific nature to this forum other than it is a comfort zone to where everyone can just have fun. It is not intended nor will it be tolerated as a "sexual" forum.


SECTION TWELVE --

**Avi and Animation Shop - You can buy or sell avi art, make special request from the artist or whatever. If you wish to sell in there just make up a new topic like you see the others have done.

**Banner and Signature Shop - Looking for a banner, make banners you want to sell or even if you just want a System Error banner to put in your signature, this is the forum for you.

**Profile Shop - Loaded with information on how to create and design custom profile. If you want to create and sell your profiles just make a new topic and let everyone know. If you have more information to share then make a new topic and tell us what you know.



SECTION THIRTEEN - This section is for the monthly parties that we have. The title of the forum changes all the time but this is the section where you will find the latest party and the most fun In the guild all in one spot. Filled with games, contest, prizes and tons of fun - it is a forum you will always want to watch for.

SECTION FOURTEEN - This section is all about the rp's - all of them. Whether we have 10 or 20 they will always be in this bottom section. If you love to rp then watch this section to see when the new ones are opening up and get it while there are still parts available. The most fun on the guild if you love to rp.

Be sure to check with the RP Central Forum to get the latest up to date information on what is in the rp section and what is coming. The forum is filled with useful information for our rp members along with contest and more fun that you can imagine.

We also love new rp ideas so be sure to share those with us as well.

SECTION FIFTEEN

**Work in Progress - this is a crew forum and unless you are on the crew it will be locked. It is where we plan and develope all of the new contest and material for the guild.

**Command Central - this is just for crew members, vice captains and captain. This section is locked so if you are not on the crew you will not be allowed to enter this section.





So that should give you the heads up on all of our sections as they are divided and what forums are found in each section. Think of it as a grocery store where the things are just located in sections. Once you learn the sections moving around in the guild is easy!

The Announcement Section

At the very bottom under all the forums you will see the Announcement Section. In this section is all of the current information that you need to know about the guild. This is where we post all of the new contest, new rp's that are opening, anything we want you to know about is in this section. PLEASE always be sure that you check the announcement section each time you visit the guild.

I keep this updated with all of the latest information and anything that is new or upcoming. If you want something posted in this section contact me and I will set it up for you. Unless you are on the crew you should never post anything in this section as a New Topic. You may reply to any topic listed but do not create a new topic.
