Help! I'm not sure how much longer I can take this.
I want to tell them, I really do, god, how much i'd love to tell them.
This is a conversation my parents and I had an hour or so ago when we were coming home from seeing a movie.
(First off, I'd like to mention something, my parents and I...well, we talk about everything, like sometimes they're more like friends than parents, but anyway, here it goes)
Mom: "Wow, -insert my father's name here- have you seen some of the stuff that Jill's friend reads? You know...Paige. Well, it's like soft-core porn.....-dramatic music- with GIRLS....-gasp- "(Okay, so there wasn't really any music or something weird like that, but, i'm trying to make a point).
Me: -freaking out because the stuff that she's referring to is actually some of /my/ Yuri collection that I loaned her- -in a panicked voice- ....What? What in the world are you talking about....I have /NO/ idea what you're talking about. I've never seen any of this....She's never showed me any of it. Really.
Mom and Dad: ....
Mom: We never said you did Jill. -looks at father- But really though. Her poor parents. Imagine having a daughter like /THAT/.....Those poor souls.
Me: -getting angrier by the moment, but doing my very best to conceal it- Why mom? What's wrong with that? Besides, who says Paige is a lesbian. Hm....maybe YOU'RE the lesbian. -laughs nervously-
Mom: .....Jill how dare you say that. And since you've been obsessing about it lately (since when?)....Maybe you're the lesbian.
-Dad pips in-
Dad: Yeah, maybe you're the lesbian Jill. -laughs-
Me: -laughs along so that they don't suspect anything- Yeah, right, as if. -feels guilty about saying that- (Really, I do...>< wink
Mom: But anyway, it must be so hard for them. I don't know how they're able to handle it.
Me: -getting angry again- Why? Why is that so wrong..? There's nothing wrong with that.
Mom and Dad: -not simultaneously- -ignoring me- It must be so hard for them. Yeah, it really is.
-end conversation with me on the verge of tears-
So, basically, I'm feeling awful right now. I really want to tell them, but now I know I can't.
Man I can't wait until I can get out of here.
I'm sorry about posting this little rant. But, I really need some support or reassurance right about now. I'm going crazy, I can't take it anymore....D:

Trust me, I just did the same thing.
I do it a bit with my parents, I think they know that I'm bisexual though. (Hence they found a website of me saying in bisexual in shiny, sparkely, rainbow colors) and all the rainbow stuff I own.
As well, last year, they were completly agesnt me in the school's GSA, but now, that my (perfect) sister is in it too, they're completly behind us 100%. Thinking that we're representing the S in GSA. -_- Little do they know my sister's best friend, is's just her best friend.

I really hate parents like that *coughminecough*. Unforunately all I can say is that theyshould accept you for who you are if you tell them, and if they don't, well then I think you can be satisfied with the knowledge that you're the better person. If this doesn't help or offends you in anyway I appologize.

Yeah, I guess that's true. I mean, there's really nothing I can do to change them, so, whatever.

Bah. How many times I've felt that! Once.. my mom had the nerve to say that this gay christian guy that my step-dad knows had no right to preach about god because he was gay! I totally gave her a mean look.. and she told me that I shouldn't get mad because I believe different. True. But she has no right to say what she said.
Do what you gotta do to get out. Make sure you can get out on your own. As my brother says, "roll with the punches" untill you're of age and can get out.

I totally gave her a mean look.. and she told me that I shouldn't get mad because I believe different. True. But she has no right to say what she said. Do what you gotta do to get out. One thing i can reccomend not to do: Sream at them that your not their straight little girl any more. stare trust me, it doesn't work.

Sorry, just wanted to say something else.
Today, my mom kept ranting about how homosexuality isn't normal, etc. As a result of my mentioning of the Christian new station, and their homophobic rants.
Oh man, it's going to be a long four years... crying
And, i'm sorry i'm being so self-centered. I know, I know, people have been in worse situations than this, so, I apologize.

Lucky for me that I only have two more years till I move out.
About your problem, you probably shouldn't tell them... I know that that seems obvious, but there will be times when you might want to, but you might want them to warm up first. Kudos to you though, for gauging their responses before you thught of telling them! And good luck 3nodding

But, blah, -sigh- I just feel so lost....I feel awful, not telling them, I mean. Like, I'm not ashamed of who I am, I'm really not. But, like I just don't have the guts to tell them, which makes me feel like I am...-sigh- it's so complicated.
