So I went to the poor people's community hospital today and sat in a musty waiting room to get my flu shot.
After filling out 5 papers asking me my health history and if I wanted to get tested for HIV hey you should get tested for HIV no really get tested for HIV, after getting my blood pressure and weight taken by some nurse that didn't know what they were doing, the doctor came in.
So after asking me what I was coming in for (physical and a flu shot) he noticed I was wearing my WoW hoodie.
He asked me if I was a Warcraft fan, and we talked about the upcoming expansion briefly.

But yea, I knew a priest who was training to become a doctor that I raided with a few times.

Both of my former bosses played WoW.
I had a guy from Outback talk to me for a while about warlocks before he took my order a while back. It was the creepiest thing.

I bumped into a guy in line once at Best Buy who claimed to be a GM. It was weird. I do live in southern California though and blizzard does have offices out here so I guess its possible. Anyway we were buying a couple game cards when he just started randomly talking to us. I lied about what server I was on...no cyber stalkers please lol.

I don't understand why it's creepy to talk about video games.

I never understood why people are so ashamed of mentioning what they play in public. Is it the social stigma that you're afraid everyone going to think you're some loser living in your parent's basement?

Devlin Darkness I never understood why people are so ashamed of mentioning what they play in public. Is it the social stigma that you're afraid everyone going to think you're some loser living in your parent's basement? It wasn't something I was ashamed of, if it was I would have said no this is my brothers/boyfriends/etc. Just totally weird that my doctor plays or knows of WoW enough to know things about the expansion and the game. Also, I am a loser and have no health insurance so it's like heh I'm spending money on games when I should be saving for insurance yay economy ^_____^

lol Well I'm still in highschool and people make fun of warcraft and all the people that play are nerds and stuff that hang at the loser table, not to mention some of them do pot, all the preps and jocks do pot, and Im right in the middle but I don't do it and if I say I play it'd be a social suicide but hey, I love the game so I'll talk to some people tomorrow at the midnight release with people from my school but Ill punch em if they tell and they know it xD! But I can't wait, I'm skipping school on Thursday for it.. I just hope we have enough memory, we had to clear some stuff out last patch so I could actually get the patch.... >.<
