"And now...the newest masterpiece of Zi'athari!" The blue eyed cub grinned as she put the last swipe of berry juice on the cub-sized boulder she'd been painting on. Looking rather proud of herself, she stood back, not minding the dirt that caked on the part of her paws that was still damp with juice. A dark red berry juice painting of a flock of birds she'd seen on her family's way here.
Well...near here. Zia had wandered a bit off, in search of a new canvas. And she'd found it, and felt confident others would find it too, and enjoy her art. Perhaps someone might add to it one day?

Bui knew he shouldn't be traveling this far away from his mother... but he was hardly in the mood for staying in! As always, he had a flood of early-morning visions, and he really did want to explore. See what was going on... for real. Not just see it in his head, but rather with his eyes.
In his mind, he needed to see the other cowardly lions who had not taken up the demon-hunting cause like his family had! After all, as far as the young boy was concerned, the demon-hunters were on par with Gods. Anyone else was the dirt under his paws.
...And then he saw something odd, and a young lioness doing it. A drawing of some kind? He had no idea, really, "What's that supposed to be?" He asked bluntly, completely unafraid right off the bat.

Zia blinked and turned to look at the other (larger) cub who had shown up. Oh fun...another "boy". She smiled. "It's a painting of a flock of birds." She looked very proud of herself, despite the dirt that had found its way into parts of her fur and the berry juice staining her paws and tail tuft.
"I saw it not long ago, with the rest of my family. Of course...I'm probably the only one in my family who remembers it." That tended to happen...Zia was often the one who saw beauty in the strangest of things.
"I'm Zia. Who're you?"

"Huh... weird." He said, looking over the picture thoughtfully, though he didn't really see it. But he didn't really appreciate art when it came down to it. He was more into the art of battle when it came down to it. Still... she did look like she was enjoying herself over this.
"My name is Buibui'Sefu." He told her, moving his nose closer to the picture before backing up a bit, "I'm just sort of... wandering around. I'm a demon-hunter, you see... my family wants me to watch the boarders and such." She wanted nothing of the sort and would have killed him if he thought he was going on around on his own.
"I've never... really seen this sort of thing before. What did you call it again?" He asked, tilting his head curisously.

"A demon-hunter?" She had no idea what that was. Perhaps...demons were some kind of prey and his family specialized in hunting it, like Papa Kono did snakes? "My family wanders too! We don't have a home, and I'm not sure if Mom is looking for one or not. But I don't mind." She grinned.
"It's called a painting. I use crushed berries and grass and stuff to make the colors, and I make pictures on the rocks. Sometimes other creatures too!"

Bui stepped forward, getting a better look at the 'painting'. "I don't get it... you capture another creature's face and put it on here?" That didn't make any sense to him. But then again, he had never seen a picture before. "How do you do that with only some berries?"
He wondered exactly how this 'painting' thing worked... maybe she would show him...
