The technician was pacing, though she didn't have to worry about putting her life on the line this time around. They were visiting the virtues this time around. She should of been relieved, but instead she was just agitated. There was something about meeting an angel that made her jealous and then more annoyed at herself.
SHe envied the angels..so perfect in appearance and behavior. But she could only curse them for making her look bad. Now where were those pair? She wanted to get this meeting over with.

((Alright, if you want to skip over the intro, just read the last paragraph. xDD I got WAY to bored haha!))
...a note? That was all that was found at the foot of the door one day from coming home on the job. Erikk picked it up, it was addressed to Samantha. That was weird. Especially because Samantha hadn't even been around for a long while yet, who would know where she was, who even knew of her existence? Well, besides the family that is.
He opened the door to his house, it was the early morning, coming home from a late night job. He saw that Annalissa had fallen asleep on the couch and Samantha, her little body, sitting on the floor reading her and Sylas' all time favorite book. When Samantha realized that her father was home, she said, "Hi daddy! How was work?" Erikk's reply was short, "Fine...I just need a minuet okay?" he said.
He looked down at Anna, "Does she always sleep like this when I'm away?" he asked Samantha. Samantha just nodded. Erikk rolled his eyes and began to walk to his bedroom. He opened the note and realized that it must have been from the person who left Samantha in his arms all that time ago. "Oh dear..." he said to himself. He had to take her to meet her real parents? Wait, what? The name of her parents were Kindness and Greed? That wasn't at all reassuring, but then it hit him. "Is she some kind of demon? She has gone through times where she is very greedy, but then again, she is very, very kind too." he said. He shrugged it off and went to his daughter. "It's time to go. I have to take you to meet your real mommy...or...daddy..." he said. It was so sudden that Samantha couldn't take it in.
She always knew that she wasn't really Erikk's biological child, but it was so quick that she didn't even have time to say more than, "Oh...okay..." She then got up and ran outside with her father.
That was the time where it hit her, she was totally fine with the way her life was now. She didn't feel it necessary to do any of this, but she was curious nevertheless. Erikk seemed to make it very important as well. Once they arrived at the place it had said, Erikk said, "Okay, lets go." The two got out of the car, and ran up to the door.
They walked inside, Samantha had a coat on for it was getting rather chilly at this time of year. Erikk wouldn't allow her to go out without one. "Hello, I'm Erikk, and this is my daughter, Samantha. We're here because of a meeting." he said to a woman who seemed very impatient. It was still early morning, enough time to get this meeting over and done with. Samantha just stood in silence. She didn't really know what to say or do. It was just all a big jumbled mess to her.

Shifting her attention to the child, it wasn't a very friendly smile...but she then looked sharply at the man who had introduced himself as the child's gaurdian. 'Bout time...
"Well I am glad you both made it." She started as she went to straighten herself so that her shoulders weren't slouched anymore. Her tone wasn't even pleasant.
"This way; Colaer is too nice for her own good...but we best not keep her waiting." She replied hurriedly as she then turned on her heel and proceeded down the hallway.
The hallway standardized labratory walls, soon came abruptly to a halt before a finely crafted archway where cherubs and clouds were sculpted into it. She didn't even give them a second look until she spotted the angel sitting on a bench sipping tea quietly.
Moving she gave a bit of a cough, even though she knew the angel could sense her.
"Colaer...Samantha is here to see you." She introduced and then stepped back before picking up her pen to write down the child's reaction.
Colaer's red hair was rich though more of a earth red, her eyes were closed and her wings folded against her back. She smiled though she didn't turn her gaze to look at either Samantha or Erikk.
"I am glad you both have made it..please if you would join me?" She asked her tone very pleasant and nearly musical to listen to.

Erikk actually found her quite beautiful. She was an angel, that was for sure. And he could understand now where Samantha had gotten her hair. It was from this woman. Though slightly different color, she still was looking like a splitting image of her mother.
The two walked forward a bit, Samantha's eyes grew wide. She didn't know exactly what this was about, but she was certainly happy now, seeing her mother for the first time since her birth. She was quite happy. Her mother was kind. I guess that was good enough considering the fact that Annalissa, being the 'motherly' figure, wasn't the nicest person.
"So...you're my mom? My real mommy?" Samantha asked. Erikk sought it best to be silent throughout the meeting. He just sat down and stayed somewhat disconnected from all of what was going on, allowing the two to bond in some way.

The woman only smiled at the question offering a hand to the younger girl though she still had her eyes closed. Her hair fell into her face a bit but it didn't seem to bother the woman in the least.
"In a sense I am your mother. I hope you haven't been lonely without me. Though I can sense that your gaurdian has been taking very good care of you." She spoke softly, though each word was clear like a chime of a bell.
"Come closer, I am sorry but I cannot see the same way you can. But your aura is very beauitful Samantha," She started as she then tilted her head to look at Erikk a moment, she was still smiling.
"Please you too, though I didnt catch your name." She asked sounding a bit curious.

Samantha was now intrigued with this situation. She came closer as the woman told her to. She was happy, something about her just filled with joy. She didn't know what to say, so she kept quiet.
"I'm Erikk. Thank you for the compliment. I try my hardest." he said smiling, also creeping ever closer.

The angel gave a small laugh as the girl approached, she ran her slender fingers in her hair, she felt the horns and traced along them as well, she stilled smiled as she continued to inspect the child by touch.
"Tell me about yourself Samantha. What do you like to do? Did you have any questions for me?" She inquired in a thoughtful tone as she shifted on the spot her wings spreaing out a bit as she continued to gently outline the child in front of her.

Sam just sat there. She had no idea what to say or ask. She felt a bit different with this woman. She didn't know how to respond to anything.
She just looked up and said, "Umm...well...I guess I'll ask you what you do all day. Do you just sit here, or do you do other stuff too?" she asked. What kinds of questions were you to ask to an angel? Nothing that Sam knew of, that's for sure.

She gave a giggle at the question posed at her, "Of course I do other things..it is just my afternoon tea. Would you and your father care for some tea?" She inquired as she finished her inspection of Samantha.
"You see I don't have as many things to do now that I am here..but I try my best to keep myself busy." she replied with a bit of a sound of sadness. THough eh perked up again as she laughed.
"But I want to hear about you Samantha. I am not that interesting." She was very modest apparantly. She shifted over to allow Samantha to sit beside her.
