Jet padded by under the trees, shadows flitting across his features everytime he passed through an opening. The moon was full tonight, and very bright. It had rained not long ago and the ground was still soft which suited Jet just fine. He lifted his head and turned to look towards his left. After a few seconds, he shurgged and walked on. The trees were getting thinner and after a while, he reached a large and grassy field. The moon reflected off the pond near the center and he went closer to it, poking his muzzle in to cause ripples across the surface. When he saw the moon's reflection tremble and distort, he went in and paddled around, enjoying the cool feeling of the waters on this cold night.

Pheony slipped in and out of the trees like a ghost flitting through the forest. Crescent had gone out to find some more mangos and left Phe to wander through the silent trees. She was heading to her favorite spot the pond in almost the exact middle of the woods. She passed out of the trees and into the light of the full moon it glistened off of her silver fur only furthering the look of a ghost about her. She was looking up as she walked not paying attention to the world around her only to the sparkling little dots above. She walked to the ponds edge her head still looking skyward and stopped. She was at peace with herself and the world around her. She sat in front of the pond tail wrapped around her feet having a silent communion with the stars. She started to hum and then to sing a soft sound at first growing with passion as she continued, her voice soon seemed to fill the entire area with sound springing back off the trees around her a soft sound though.

Jet took in a deep breath and went underwater without making a noise. Silence was, after all, one of the things he was most skilled at. He watched the strange fish swim by and he ignored them, long ago learning that trying to catch them underwater wasn't such a good idea. When he resurfaced, he was hidden behind a particularly large frond and he was surprised to hear music. He flicked his ears to get the water off, thinking it was because he was underwater that the melodic noise would come. When the sound still didn't go away, he peered around the plant and was startled to see a bright and shining ghost. No, not a ghost, he realized after he blinked a few times. It was Pheony. He hadn't seen her since the time at the castle and he grinned. He slid out of the pond slowly so as not to make a sound and padded up to her, his stride confident, the moonlike reflecting off his wet pelt. "Hello Pheony." he called softly, not wanting to disturb the beautiful sound that was her voice.

Pheony jumped slightly a quiver sneaking into her voice when she head her name. Despite that she regained her composure and continued her song her voice fading at the last verse. She turned surprise flickering into her eyes when she saw Jet. A smile ghosted across her placid face. "Hello Jet, how have you been?" Her voice was low but seem to hold a sort of warmth about it as she spoke to him. She had not actually expected to see anyone here let alone Jet who she really never expected to see ever again. In a way it made her happy that he was here but at the same time she felt a slight amount of pain well up in her chest knowing that she would probably never see him again after this. It was a sad thought but she figured it was at least good to see him again. Even if he could be a real jerk at times and did belong to the chaos clan. A small almost inaudible sigh escaped from her normally emotionless body.

Jet cocked his head to the side a bit, worried. He hoped he didn't ruin her song. He was glad when it didn't, or at least, not much, and he waited patiently for her to finish, closing his eyes so he could concentrate on the music better. He opened them again when her voice faded, just to make sure she really was done. It seemed she was and he replied back with a, "I've been well. Hunting has been easy around here." he motion towards the woods he came out of. "And you?" he asked, flicking an ear in her direction. "It's been a while since we've seen each other." He was pleased to hear the warmth in her voice, remembering that when they first met, it had only been filled wtih coldness. He leaned a bit closer to her, wondering if he had heard something. Deciding it was just the wind, he sat back and waited for her reply.

She nodded her head this was a very good place to hunt even in winter things seemed to flourish around here. "I have been ok. Nothing that spectacular to report but life has treated me fairly well since the last time we spoke." She smirked at him amusement flickering into her eyes at the thought of the last time they had seen each other. "It has be a long time since the last time we spoke. I've... kind of missed your company." She whispered the last part her eyes downcast. Jet was probably the only Chaos clan member she actually enjoyed spending time with. It was uncharacteristic of her to enjoy being in the presence of a chaos clan member let alone actually miss them when they left. She hardly missed her own brother or mother when they left how odd that she would be strangely attached to this one member she thought to herself. A quizzical look crossing her face at the thought trying to sort it all out in her mind and failing miserably.

"That's nice to hear," he murmured, nodding. "Nothing spectacular for me, as well, it would seem." he laughed. Who knew that in the long time that had passed since their last meeting, nothing of intrest would have happened to either of them. He was surprised that she would admit the last part, since he knew her hate of the Chaos couldn't have gone away by now. No, he thought sadly, it would probably never fully leave her. "I've missed you as well." he told her, although he wasn't as flustered. Who would he tell, anyways? And who would care, for that matter? He hadn't seen his family, much less any company, since he converted to Chaos. He could see the confusion on her face and he wrapped his tail around her. He shivered when a soft wind blew by but it soon passed and he was reminded of the pond. Grinning, he stood and motioned towards the pool. "Care for a swim?" he asked.

A look of shock flitted into her eyes to be quickly replaced by her normal expression. He had missed her? What an odd state of affairs she thought to herself. She never figured someone like him would feel any emotion so trivial as that. She shook her head to clear the thoughts away now was not the time to be slipping into herself to think. She looked up at the stars above her head no, no matter who or what it was that was in the chaos she must never lose what made her different from them. Even if she felt at peace with him. Looking back at him she smirked. "A swim? You know its going to be cold. However if you think you can handle it then I am up for it." Yes she had issued a challenge and she knew he would accept it and she knew that he would probably beat her also but that at this moment was unimportant as she padded quietly towards the pond.

Jet chuckled softly at her words. "I don't mind... and I suppose you don't as well." He got up and followed her to the pond's edge. For the second time that night, he slid in without any noise. That is, until he flicked his tail, sending a small splash towards her. He started paddling but turned his head and smirked in a playful taunt. Before she had time to retaliate, he dove under the surface, reappearing a few feet away. He swam slower this time, in a half-circle around her. He was far enough away that he was sure any water she sent his way would miss but close enough for them to hear each other clearly. He continued swimming this way, waiting for her to get in.

Pheony looked at him with a cool calm collected expression before getting low to the ground. "No I don't mind in the least. However I hope you don't think you safe from me right there." In one swift movement she lept stretching herself full out. She let her wings out and glided ever so slightly and then gave them one good flap to push her the rest of the way over the water to nab him. Landing full on him she tackled him, pushing him under the water. She twisted around and surfaced her breath coming in gasps. Water was dripping from her ears onto her head and slipping down into her eyes. "That will teach you not to mess with me." She said in a playfully harsh tone.

Ooh, feisty, Jet thought, a competitive smile on his face. He had never actually seen her fly and the thought of her gliding towards him never crossed his mind. That wouldn't happen again, he hoped. He spat some water out, shaking his head to get rid of most of the liquid there, especially in his ears. He had surfaced a few feet away from her and they were facing each other so he could see her face clearly. The water didn't seem to affect her as much. "Will it?" he teased, paddling closer. He pressed his side against hers and leaned his forehead on the side of her head. He raised his head a little, and repeated her words in a soft whisper, "Maybe this will teach you not to mess with me." Before there could be any reaction, he was gone, back under the water where he seemed to be spending most of his time in the pond. He twisted and came up on her other side, a large wave of water with him. Most of the water fell on Pheony but most of the stray droplets hit him. He knew it wasn't much but she had probably never seen anyone else do it before (unless she spent a lot of time with the water clan) and that would make it seem better than it was. He had picked up the trick a while ago but had never actually showed anyone else. It was nice to know he finally met someone that was as competitive as he was.

She glowered at him. "I was hoping it would." She was about to shoot him a nasty retort when he vanished under the water. He seemed to like doing that. It was like playing with a water clan member instead of a Chaos. She was amazed when he doused her in water. She had never seen something like that, mainly because she had only spent a little time with Tepid as of late and when he was young he was not that good with his water skills. She wadded there dripping with water looking at him a look of amusement and amazement flitting into her eyes. She sighed and shook off slinging water all over Jet once more. She laid her ears back against her head. She was good she could even call up a small fire ball that was cute but otherwise had no real purpose since it was not very hot and was not very big. Her sister Ali had taught her how to do that and she was very proud of it. However she did not think that he would know any other kind of small moves from a different clan. "Well, well, well aren't we just full of surprises." She batted her eyelashes and padded over nuzzling up under his chin. She let out a soft purring sound and stretched out her wings. That right there should have put him on alert. A snicker escaped her mouth as she suddenly pushed her wings forward scooping water in them as they went splashing them together around Jet on either side with a small wave of water. "You are not the only one that has learned a few tricks here and there."

Jet raised a wing, dripping with water, to block off most of the water Pheony was flinging his way. When he thought she was done, he lowered his wing to see her batting her eyes at him. A female had never shown intrest in him before, mainly because of his attitude, and he was about to ask if she had something in her eye when she came close and nuzzled up to him. He felt pleased with himself but was worried. What if the thing in her eye infected her? She never touched him much before of her own free will. Before he could ask if anything was wrong, he heard her snicker and his ears stood up in surprise. In his mind, he could forsee what was about to happen but his physical body was too slow in reacting. Her wings spread and pushed towards him, sending waves that were small at first but large by the time they reached him. He was thouroughly soaked already so it didn't do much to his fur although it irritated his ears. He flattened and then raised them quickly to flick off most of the water and chuckled. "It seems not." He looked at her, then at the reflection. Stars were all around them, although distorted from the ripples they caused. He looked at the stream connected to the pond and back at her. "Would you like to see what else is here?" he asked. He would have prefered to stay and show off more of his tricks to her but he decided it was probably best to stop soon before she really did get the better of him.

She followed his gaze up the stream and into the darkness that lay beyond. She looked back at him and nodded slightly. "I guess we could. Would you like to stay in the water or take to the land?" She asked as she padded her way towards the stream that fed the pond. She was starting to shiver ever so slightly from the cold water but she could handle it she was sure. The stars danced on the surface of the water around her bringing peace to her heart. The padded all the way to the mouth of the stream and then turned and looked at Jet. "What are you waiting for slow poke?" She teased him as she padded in circles. The water droplets on her fur glisened in the moon light giving an ever so eerie gleam to her fur. She had just left the water alone not bothering to shake it off of her fur or off her ears. Water all in all did not bother her most of the time anyway.

"The water, I suppose. There's something I'd like to show you that can't be reached by land." Jet chuckled, smiling when he saw her retreating form. He thought she was beautiful, with the moonlight glinting off her pelt, her small shiver sending slight ripples across the still waters. Her words reminded him of the present and he laughed, paddling to her. He stroked her cheek with his tail as he passed by, turning his head slightly with a smirk on his face, before paddling into the stream. They were going against the current and it was getting harder to swim forwards as they got farther away from the pond. The land around them started getting slimmer and slimmer until not even the small islands were left. "Worried?" he taunted, motioning towards the water all around them, with no land in sight.
