Well hello! I haven't posted in the guild for a while...well I'm back to ask you, martial arts fans some help.
I have seen Japanese, Chinese, Korean martial arts, but I know almost nothing about Vietnamese martial arts. I have seen VERY FEW sources about them and they are difficult to find.
I'm going to make a research on vietnamese martial arts to help me understand the vietnamese culture, philosophy and techniques that are so intriging to me. I'm asking you, if you have informations or names about any vietnamese martial art to Pm me or to post them in this topic. Any help will be very appreciated (of course, it would also demonstrate the knowledge of the guild in martial arts 3nodding )
By the way, ff you want, I can make a summary of my research in another topic of the guild, what are you thinking about it?

I guess I'll join thenomadsway and say that there's not much in english about it. I know it's very popular in France. I once saw a demonstration of it. A bit flashy seemed to be intend in showing off this technique. For the rest it made me think of something hung gar and taekwondo. Kicks, strikes and basic throws.

Sorry, I had seen one in passing, but forgot the name and the origin. Try www.netlibrary.com for research of any kind. It may come through in this case too.

Hey, there's a good looking book at Borders. Just type in the keywords. I bought it in your memory man, even if you can't see it. lol I know it's probably too little too late, but how did that all turn out?
