Bailey Bacardi was sure of very few things in life. However, he highly believed in convenient coincidence. When he went out and wondered about the location of one of his old friends, they showed up. And when he was thinking having another little sibling might be fun, he is requested to go pick up Ebony by a mysterious letter. Now, he hoped that coincidence would work in his favor.
The boy was determined to introduce his two 'little sisters' to each other. Ebony and Elegy were like two halves of the same whole and he was sure that they'd both utterly love to meet. So, with the intention of locating Elly to introduce Ebby too, he took his sister out for the day. The first place they went was the ice cream shop where he'd first met his little princess-y friend. He went there first since he was almost positive, for some reason, that she'd be there.

It had taken a whole lot of convincing to get Garrett to take her to the ice cream shop.
Elly had woken up that morning, done her usual routine of breakfast, changing her outfit a dozen times, and watching morning cartoons.. before a little short about cars being made like ice cream captures the girl's attention. From that point forward, despite the chill autumn temperature, Elegy is absolutely convinced she wants ice cream.
Garrett complied, after a lot of her hanging off his arm while giving him the most wretched puppy dog eyes he's ever seen. "But only there and back. No getting distracted," he warns with furrowed eyebrows. His sister nods excitedly as she pulls on her boots, and he already knows the statement was more to comfort him and not convince her. Something comes up, it always does, with Elegy on hand.
"Hop! Two, three, four!" Elly screeches with a huge grin, squeezing her brother's hand and jumping between cracks in the sidewalk and piles of wind blown leaves. "Come oooon, Gaaarwett, hop!"
"No," grumbles the feathered boy, who is counting his change in his other hand to make sure there's enough to appease the princess.
"Two, three, fou- whoooops!"
Thankfully for Elly, Garrett's reflexes are quick, so when the girl slips on a thin patch of ice underneath a couple of leaves, he tightens his grip on her hand and steadies her immediately. She gives him a sheepish toothy smile.
"See? It's too cold for ice cream. Let's go back home and have hot chocolate instead," Garrett suggests grumpily as he stuffs the money back into his pocket, only to look up and see that his sister is running ahead of him, having spotted the silhouette of the parlour.

"They sell Hot chocolate and warm fudge cake at the shop this time of year, Garrett." the calm voice of the red snake boy said behind them, a gentle smile on his face. He was lucky that they'd come up behind their friends, otherwise Elly and Garrett might have headed home.
Ebby was clinging to her brother's hand, staring at the girl in front of her. She just........wanted........to........pet.........that........"TAAAAAAAAAAIL!" the child squeaked before rushing over and latching onto the end of Elly's tail to pet at it.
"And booooooooow!" she squeaked joyously, fiddling with the end of that.

Elly's eyes almost bug right out as she whirls around to meet face to face a pretty purple girl with.. "WINGS!" she screeches, making Garrett cringe.
She helps herself to one Ebby's wings, touching it gingerly with a long "oooooh!" as she does. Thinking quickly, she digs into the pocket of her windbreaker and comes up with a handful of shaped sequins. Garrett can only imagine how she got her hands on those, never mind had them readily available.
"Here!" she chimes, holding out her hand for the other girl to help herself to the shining shapes. "If, if you put them on your wings, you'd be extra pretty when they move!!" The toddler rapidly shifts her weight back and forth out of pure excitement.
And she hasn't even noticed her bestest big friend yet!
Garrett sighs a little and turns to Bailey. "That's good news, then. Though I think she's real set on ice cream.. At least I can get myself something to warm up with."

Ebby squealed with joy at the sight of the sequins, hopping from one foot to the next. "OOOOOOOOOH! PRETTYPRETTYPRETTY!" she squeaked, flapping her wings joyously. "Can you put them on for me? Then my wings will be extra shiny!"
"You may want to be careful, Ebony. I don't know if that'll be bad for your wings or not. Do you know, Garrett?" the red child looked at the Hawk boy for a second, seeming somewhat concerned. "I haven't got wings and don't know many people with them - is it safe to put those on hers?"
