"Hotdog." The young girl's firm eyes were focusing on the nice meal before her before she focused on the man selling the food she desired. The strange helmet she wore and her mantis behind made quite a few people look at her with interest.

Dalal didn't even try to talk politely to the hotdog man. She quickly took the meal and paid before wandering towards a small fountain. The mall she was in was really huge. Sitting down on a bench close to the fountain she started to eat the hot dog. Gwendolyn, the barbie doll, was looking out of Dalal's shoulder bag. The girl felt a bit uncomfortable. Since her behind had grown it was even more difficult to sit down in a proper manner.

The mantis child watched all the people passing by. Actually she was supposed to buy some clothes for herself. A new t-shirt and such...but she had bought the shoulder bag and the hotdog instead and thought it to be a great deal.

Dalal was about to finish off her hotdog as she noticed two strange looking girls nearby. They were smaller than she was, but they had something about them which made the mantis girl feel strange. Perhaps it was because they had some outstanding features just like she had?

As quickly as possible Dalal got off the bench she had been sitting on and started to follow the pair and their caretaker. If the man wasn't nice and had probably kidnapped them, she would try to help them out.

Dalal had just stuffed the last bit of hotdog into her mouth as she was adressed by the stranger. Running away probably wasn't an option, because she still wasn't the quickest with her behind.

"No, thank you." The girl narrowed her eyes a bit and glanced at the doll in her new bag. Then she turned towards the toddlers and smiled a bit. What to do? What to do? Her mind was busily working, but actually she didn't have a clue how to explain that she had just wanted to talk to somebody who also looked a bit different...

"You like it?" Dalal kneeled down a bit to let Abby have a better look. "I like it too, but the guy I'm living with thinks it to be creepy." In lack of a word for her caretaker Frank she had just decided to describe his position.

For a moment she glanced at Korri, but decided to ignore him. First and foremost he was male and probably quite annoying for the toddlers, Dalal was sure. "Do you know a nice shop? I shall buy clothes." She asked the toddler.

Dalal listened to the girl. They were probably facing the same dilemma as she did, but they were smaller and she remembered the day when she was forced to go shopping with her "Dad". She had to help them, although she wasn't so familiar with the mall either.

BUT she had seen a cool shop were you were able to get belly dancer outfits. They were expensive, but probably the man was wealthier than her community at home. "Umm...I could show you one."

Dalal didn't look at Korri but still addressed Abby. "I am Dalal. Who are you?"

"Ok, I will lead the way." Huh! It was indeed a great feeling to show something to a grown-up. At home she was always the small one, but here she was much larger than Abby and Hannah for example AND she served as some kind of...service person.

Dalal wasn't quite sure if that was something you were supposed to like, but right now she enjoyed moving towards the shop she had seen before. Wonderful outfits could be seen there - silky, transparent, just great! "Here it is. Do you like it, Abby?"

Unfortunately the mantis child wasn't aware of the fact that they were standing in front of a shop for costumes.

Dalal blinked. Why did they leave? She had had the perfect plan to get them AWAY from the guy and now they were literally dragging him towards another store, which only had stupid stuff and just left her standing there.

The girl snorted. Perhaps they even liked the man? Nah...The child pondered. But hadn't he said that they would meet again. Dalal checked her watch. She was supposed to be home in about an hour, damnit. Quickly she followed the new acquaintances, but she wasn't as quick and soon it seemed like she had lost them.
