Reyson wandered lazily through the meadow stretching. He felt sore from all the favors he had to do for those old hags in the village. "Those hags should find someone else to bother..." he muttered. "Just because I help others doesn't mean they have to ask me every single time!"
He exhaled, slumping onto the grass reclining. He picked a small orange flower and stared at it, using his magic to make the petals sway slowly from side to side.((Sorry. I couldn't find a title yet.))

Luke was plodding through the woods with head head low. Once again, while practicing his magic, he'd done something wrong. This time, it had soaked Vesna and her cloth doll through and she'd trotted off in a huff. He hated making that little girl upset. So now he wandered, half looking for her and half trying to just get away. He still had a lot to learn about his magic. As luck would have it, his wandering brought him suddenly in view of another cattaur. Not being the most classy guy, the first thing Luke did was stare. He remembered hearing about this young taur. Something about nagas? Shaking off his initial shock, he padded up toward the youth. "Hey. You happen to see a little cervi girl pass through here? She's dark purple and... rather wet." He sighed irritably at the last description. (No worries ^^ )

Reyson looked up at the blue cattaur. "A little cervi girl?" he shook his head. "I didn't see anyone at all here. Why?" the cattaur looked at him curiously. "Why do you look so down?" he fiddled around with the flower in his hand.

Luke sighed. She'd get over it soon enough. He was sure of it. He shook his head. "It's nothing. She just pulled a wrong place wrong time moment and got soaked by my magic, now she's mad at me and wandered off somewhere. She'll be fine though." Though he said it like it was only a small thing, he knew he was feeling it, and that to Vesna it was a big thing.

He snorted. "Don't you have any control over your magic?" he asked. "I mean you're a cattaur. You're supposed to have perfect control over your magic. Especially at your age." he added.
Reyson stared at him for a while. "So this cervitaur child...you need help looking for her?"

Luke stiffened irritably, his sore point having been thoroughly prodded and jabbed. He tried to push that subject away. "No. She'll come back soon enough." He stood there silently, wondering what to do now. Could he dare tell this boy that his skill of magic was weak still? His current teacher was more antagonizing than anything else... maybe he needed to find someone new? He could just go back to practicing alone... Lost in thought, he had forgotten he was still standing in front of Reyson.

Reyson snickered. "You don't look too happy anymore." he stood up. "I'll teach you." he pointed at himself with great flourish. "Learn from the master."
Reyson realized the taur wasn't paying attention to him at all. Annoyed, he wanted to leave, but his gut feeling told him that he had to help this taur. He waved his hand in front of Luke's face. "Hey. You. Snap out of it."

Luke looked up with a start. "Huh?" He frowned slightly. "What's up with you? Lookin' a bit irritated there."

"Oh well. I don't know." Reyson muttered sarcastically. "You ignored me after I offered to help you with your magic." he scowled.

Luke tilted his head. "When did I do that? When did you do that?" He shook his head and smirk. "I guess I kinda did get lost in thought. ...You really want to help?"

Reyson twitched. This taur was starting to get on his nerves. "Whatever." he waved his hand. "Here." he crouched down and picked up another flower. He held it in his palm and made the petals move from side to side. "We should start with this...just to be safe...cause I don't want to get wet either."

Luke scratched his head. He was supposed to do... what? He focused on the flower. A small bead of water started growing right above the petals. As the bead grew, the flower shriveled. With surpised eyes, he stopped and the bead fell to shiver on the flower's center. "I'll make a note of that..." He said warily. That was a new one to him.

Reyson cocked his head to the side. He never saw magic like that. Maybe he had special control over water? "Hmm..." he picked up another flower and handed it to Luke. "Instead of focusing on the flower...try to command it to move with your mind. Y'know what I mean?" They were going have to practice. A lot. Reyson inwardly sighed.

Luke sighed. "Like, use the wind." So far, he'd only noticed water control come from himself. He tried to do what Reyson said, and the flower did flow to the side a little, before being doused with a spout of water. He groaned. "Look, I didn't really start practicing until right before I grew into adulthood. I won't say why, I just thought you aughta know." He said, glaring off to the side.

"Let's give up on plants for now." Reyson grabbed Luke and attempted to drag him into the forest. "Let's try something else."
Reyson turned back to look at him. "I know. It looks like your still new to magic." he smirked. "You shouldn't glare too much. Bad for your health."
"And I'm going to drive you into the ground with my training."
