So what is your favorite type of yaoi? Do you like yaoi thats cute, funny, action, Violante, or what kind.
I like ones that are cute and funny. It's just got to have cute boys and a cute and funny story line.

Realistic.. no girlyboys, thanks. As far as plot goes, I do need a bit of angst.. cheesy gangster/yakuza s**t is always good. But I'll take any general violence/underground type stuff.

I like most types of yaoi. But I do prefer the guys to be... guys. Violence is always good. <3 As well as comedy. Actually, I can barely stand yaoi without comedy unless it has a really great storyline or awesome art. Tension is fun as well as a little drama, but not too much.
Basically, I like yaoi that makes me laugh, cry, and swear. xD

It depends on my mood, but mostly I read yaoi that contains action and comedy. I prefer that they are both guys. I mean the uke can look fem but I like him to at least act like a guy, or else it really isn't yaoi is it. xp

What I usually look for is cute, funny, good

I say violent Yaoi is the best ever!! Booyah!! blaugh My fave is what happens in Necratoholic!! Kami that is the best I've ever read let alone seen! eek All hail Vampire/Damphir love! Them smexy bishies really hace some great blood-play moments! Yum! twisted Cute and cuddly works too, but I prefer the gory violent stuff! heart

I like to be able to tell the character's gender at first glance (ultra-feminine guys don't do much for me.) Good/interesting characters and some drama are good (as long as it doesn't go over the top with it.) I've also got a weakness for age gaps and historical fiction, so if it's got either or both of those, that much better.

Looking at my smallcollection I seem to like yaoi that makes me laugh. ^^ Actually I'll like anything that makes me laugh. There doesn't even have to be any sex in my yaoi, as long as the plot is good I'm happy. As for female looking males, I don't have much of that so I guess I like them to look more masculine than feminine. Some drama doesn't hurt either~
