Recently I had a fun little rp idea come to mind. In a city amidst economic turmoil, there's only one street without any shops closing. There's a medly of stores, all who compete heavily to survive.
I've got three characters lined up for this skit: one named Harmonia (Yeah Zack, I'm really bad at coming up with new characters so this one will sound familiar xDDD) who runs a bookstore, and her next door neighbors, Cozette and Inariko, who run a "romance" store (hint hint adult romance). The three maintain friendship and team up on several occasions when the competition gets fierce.
Harmonia is a calm charater. She goes with the flow. She's the same age as Cozette and has been friends with her since they met in the first grade. Ever since Harmonia saved Inariko's kitten in the third grade, Inariko has had a crush on her. However, she's completely oblivious to this and continues to go on dates with several men (sometimes at once!) She's bit of a dummy when it comes to interpersonal relationships but aside from that she's very book smart.
Inariko is childhood friends with Harmonia, or at least she's liked and tried to maintain a friendship with her. Being four years younger than Harmonia she doesn't get to spend much time with her, except for the one year where they went to the same university. Upon learning that the store next to Harmonia's was hiring, she applied immediately- without realizing it was an adult romance store. Horrified but still unable to tear herself away from Harmonia, she continues to embarrass herself in her current occupation. She is timid when it comes to dealing with many groups of people and stammers under pressure. Ever since her boss, Cozette's, house burned down she moved in with Inariko (much to her dismay, seeing as they're complete opposites).
Cozette is the most energetic of the girls. She likes to get drunk, screw, and party. Adult romance was her calling, so she opened up a store next to her bestfriend's book store. However, due to her horrible management (and math..) skills she needed to hire someone to do bookkeeping and such. She thought it was cute that a girl like Inariko would want the job, so she hired her (and promptly laughed like a witch when Ina realized it). Cozette is Harmonia's closest friend and is seen often with her, when she's not with her roommate and employee. She often pushes her to date as much as she does, saying that she needs to get her head out of romance books and into a man's... er...
Anyways, that's what I came up with in the shower this morning.

You need male characters. These three are just made for it. I'll wait until there are more guy characters. Your characters are making me want to have a guy character but I'm not sure about having a guy character if Crue shows up...

Yeah, someone who runs shops across from them, maybe. I think Xem might join in. (I just asked him and he was like, "Sure?")

I'm tempted to just flip my D&D character from female to male. But, I already had in my mind that my D&D character would be female and if Crue joined the D&D game (with an evil cleric heart ) then she would fall in love with him. And that can't really happen with a dude...

Though, if I don't do a gender flip, I do have a name idea and a general thought for the character associated with the name...

Prefer not to... as if I did, they'd likely tend to have an unnatural relationship... Hmmm... Male (not related to D&D) - Dom Hnall (he's foreign) D&D character - Fenna (Okefenokee is the full name) Male version of D&D character - Fenn
What do you think of the names?

Hmm... Are we using current-times-ish? Or are we using future? Or medieval?

Maybe not a scifi futuristic thing, but I wouldn't mind doing times like 2050 or so.

Well...Dom Hnall is just eccentric then. This is Dom Hnall: On the average day: When he has to wear a shirt:

Note: The important thing is the clothes. The hair gives a good idea of his hair, though... And I'm fairly sure I'll stick with his eyes being brown.

Fenna runs a hat shop. And always wears black, and wears a black hat of some kind.

Oo, I like the characters. Let me go tektek mine...
Btw, Cozette is average height with size A breasts, Harmonia is around 6'3'' with a proportionate bust, and Inariko is 5'0'' with size ds (which prompts Cozette to whore her out and dress up as a bunny girl in the street to promote the store (poor Ina).

Dom Hnall has a very nice chest. 3nodding No hair, nicely oiled. And he's tan/exotic-ness. And he has an accent. Not sure how to describe it exactly...But it's very attractive. 3nodding
Fenna's endowment isn't obvious due to wearing black all the time. She's 5'8". She's very attractive, but she's also rather scary. (Not in a creepy way, she can just be very intimidating.)
