This is a large dune which has a unique trait; it is made entirely out of black sand. The sand whirls about just as other sand does in the wind, but it never mixes with the white sand that surrounds it, and neither can white sand mix with it.
It was decided upon as a meeting place for 3 shinigami and 5 certain individuals who were meeting under the premise of leaving and starting anew. How will it go? Only the masterminds behind this know how it will end.

Ezru appeared in a flash and discharge of energy, the hot sand whipping around him as he stood and surveyed the scene around him. He knew what was coming, and was looking forward to meeting Sosuke Aizen and his 4 Generals.
"I wish we could just be accepted already... I dislike waiting... But I will survive this time." Ezru thought aloud.

"This time? And what exactly does that mean?" Asuma said, as he got up from his slight crouching position. As they had appeared in the area, he saw a large light that blinded him, and he had crouched top adequately shield himself. But now, looking around, Asuma surveyed the area. Perfect. Good that I got some training before we left. Looking over to Erzu, Asuma nodded. "So, when will they get here?"

Aine looked down at her feet, now buried in the black sand. She smiled to herself feeling the wind whip around her. The temperature was much different from where they had just been, so taking the time she had at the moment she slipped on the long red stockings she'd brought with her. Finished with that she threw the long black winter cape she'd brought around her shoulders, placing a red scarf over that. Arms now empty of what she'd brought she sat, waiting for the meeting to take place.

"I'm not sure Asuma... But we will be meeting with Aizen and his Four Generals..." Ezru said thinking about the meeting and how it had been arranged. "Do you know anything of the Generals?"

Looking around, Asuma recalled what he had heard, and what he had read in the Archives. "I know of Aizen, Gin, and Tousen. I read about them in the Archives. Three captains who defected and escaped here. I know nothing of the fourth, though. What do you know, since you are the one who arranged this." Looking around, Asuma waited for the four people that would decide their fate. The chain around his right arm, hidden under his coat, clinked, as it was shifted. It seemed that even Zetsumi was uneasy. The ball was smaller than usual, under a few of the chains. Now, at least, the abilities of the weapon came in handy.

"I know nothing... But I was told that it would be Aizen and his 4 Generals, meaning that there will be 5 people here in total to interview us... I'm not even sure what the interview will consist of..." Ezru said as he sat next to Aine, and put his arm around her waist.

Growling, Asuma looked around. "Where are they..." Stopping for a moment, Asuma wracked his brain for the possibilities for who would come with Aizen. "I know of a few Espada...there's Torrik, the Third Espada, as well as a woman...I know her face, but not her name. Then, there is a child. Those are the three Espada I know of. Oh! As well as another Espada called Sin. Looks like a kid. I think he's the...seventh. So for sure I know four of ten espada, as well as the three ex captains. There's a good chance there will be someone I don't know...so be on your toes. Even if this is a meeting...it doesn't mean he won't kill us if he is dissatisfied.

"And neither will I. I'm not a Zaigou so I can mindlessly kill things. If I sense he is about to attack, I'll enter my state and hopefully block whatever he throws at us. When and if I do that, use the watch, without hesitation. Whether or not I'm with you or in the area your watch can teleport I don't care. Just if the time comes, take Aine and leave. Am I understood?" Turning around to face Erzu face to face, Asuma had a determined look on his face. "I may be angry and bloodthirsty right now, but I'm not about to allow either of you to get hurt. Besides...if I'm going to go out, it'll be fighting. That's always been my wish. To die doing what I did to keep myself alive." Turning back around, Asuma's right hand rested on his katana's hilt, and his left was on the edge of his pocket, only his thumb inside it. He was ready to attack or block anything at this point. His chain wrapped tight around his arm, he waited.

Aine let the black sand filter through her fingers as she fiddled with it. The conversation playing out without her. Idly her other hand twitched, itching to reach out and grasp her Zanpakutou. Pushing that hand into her lap, she squelched the urge, letting it sit in waiting, smiled at Asuma's last statement, letting her weight shift more towards Ezru's side.

Chuckling, Asuma shook his head. "As you wish..." Letting the sentence trail off, Asuma glanced over at both Erzu and Aine from the corner of his eyes. Yet if it comes to that, will you be able to save us both? I'll push you in the portal if I have to. And I know you can hear me. I won' let you sacrifice yourself, Aine as well, just so you can try to save me if need be. Take care of yourselves, and I'll take care of myself. End of discussion. Starting to get impatient, Asuma's eyes flew from one place to another, waiting to see a sign of Aizen or anyone that would accompany him.

"I can, and I don't care. I have planned out multiple scenarios and I have a few other attacks that I have not used yet... I am not as weak as people assume... And they assume that I am a strong Adjutant Captain." Ezru said "And Asuma, you can relax. We will know when someone approaches."

Pulling her knees to her chest, "I'm afraid I won't be of much use if it comes to a fight with them." Aine smiled half heartedly, resting her head on her knees. "I know I'm fairly fast and good a kendou...but against former Captains and Espada..." Anxiety surfaced in her mind but she squelched the emotion from showing on her face. "I won't let either of you down though." Letting her face take up a customary bright smile as she glanced between Asuma and Ezru.
