Just a place to share your music tastes and things you are currently listening to. Come on guys, share the love? <3
I, on occasion, may also wander this thread and pick out one to color an Audio from ;3 If you're song is picked, you'll get the Audio. NIFTY, yes?

SO UM LET'S SEE. I probably should post too huh? :B My own tastes vary all over the place. If one was to listen to my iPod they'd be smacked with a variety of dance music, random crap I've collected off the internet (Can't Fool Owls, and the Kenya song, anyone?), and...random TV themesongs (Power Rangers, Chip n Dale, Darkwing Duck...). I tend to favor songs with an upbeat tempo, one that gets the blood flowing and wills you to sing along at the top of your lungs. I like rock, and I'm usually pretty damn happy if there's some awesome guitar in there :3 Also love some techno and just...yeah, a bit of everything. Skye gave me this song, and it's a pretty good example of the kind of tempo I look for in music. Social Distortion - Reach for the SkyThat said, one of my favorite groups ever has been Eifel 65, most likely remembered for the song Blue. I -love- their music and I've actually had to reburn my CD of them quite a few times because I kept wearing down the copy. Literally. My friends Shock and Vens introduced me to Linkin Park years back, and...yes I love them too :B I really enjoy What I've Done. The song is beautiful and the video is incredibly touching. It's made me cry on more than one occasion. Other random things I've been listening to lately: Jason Mraz - I'm YoursBoys Like Girls - The Great EscapeDragonforce - Through the Fire and Flames (I love this song on GH, but omg it breaks my hand)

I suppose I could post too... x3 They're not on my iTunes, but I do go to youtube to watch these and listen to them while doing stuff. x3
First is The Poet and The Pendulum. Awesome vid with this, and a very catchy song. x3;
Next is my favorite song yet, and my Audio is currently listening to it~ The fun song Maritsu Jaaku Gakuen! X3
My favoritism in songs is very random... x3; I can't pick just ONE song type to like now can I? It'd be a bit... y'know.. typical to have a few specific favorites. :B I tend to like pretty much all music but heavy metal. >3> that stuff scares me... sweatdrop
Next we have a rather up-beat song, and you may laugh at me for liking it or not, but I like it too much. X3; Lucky Star!
Aaaand can't forget another favorite. X3 Hare Hare Yukai.
Last one I promise. X3; Kirby Falcon Paunch! XB

My music tastes range vastly. But where as I'm about to head back to my drawing class one song I will probably definately end up listening too is White Zombie's More Human than Human, because lately I've tended to listen to the Covenant Soundtrack while drawing in that class.

Hm. I talk the talk, so it's time I proved it, eh?
As everyone's said... My music taste is pretty broad. As long as it's not rap/hip hop/R&B/supar old country, I'll probably like it, or some of it. And there are exceptions for this... Gym Class Heroes are certainly more hip hop than most of the stuff I listen too, but still awesome. As for my favorite genres... I'd have to say pop-punk, era Fall Out Boy, Mayday Parade, All Time Low, Paramore, that kind of thing, and screamo-ish stuff, like Alesana, Atreyu, Alexisonfire (What's with all the A's? xDD), Escape the Fate, Dance Gavin Dance, etc. Then there's the more rockier things, like Bayside, Brand New, Cursive, Breaking Benjamin, Taking Back Sunday, Senses Fail, etc, etc. And the random bands like Say Anything, Coheed and Cambria, and Motion City Soundtrack. Gawd. I have too many favorites. xD;
I could never narrow down a favorite song. I go through phases. ^^; Right now the song I emotionally!swoon when I hear it is Champange is for Celebrating, I'll Have a Martini by Mayday Parade (I lovelovelove the chorus and the part that goes "Oh my God, I just can't handle this, I lost myself inside a drunken kiss") There is no bad Mayday Parade song. Srsly. I'm also listening to the new CDs from Rise Against, Anberlin (also seriously amazing), and Senses Fail. Good stuff.
I love acoustic stuff. And stuff with good beats. Singers with great voices. Violins (such as Gifts and Curses. The violin part at 2:50 is just amazing), and just unique sounding stuff. Weird things in music really grab me, like the certain way the singer sings a line (the way William Becket sings "Am I gonna die" at 0:53-ish in The Phrase that Pays just grabs my attention), a word even, or the drumbeat, the way the tune/riff/beat changes a little in this one spot, weird little things like that. Also, covers of songs I like but don't like the original band, are love. Like I'm Real covered by The Starting Line. It took me AGES to realize it was a JLo song. xDD; Yellowcard's cover of Michelle Branch's Everywhere is really good too. More violins~
Bulls; You sound like you'd like ska-ish music. It's got that upbeat tempo, like the Social Distortion song you posted. I'm not big into ska... So I don't have much of that. But I think you might like Carpe Diem - Authority Zero. And possibly Teenage Battlefield - The Sounds, Drop Dead Gorgeous - Republica, Baby Girl, I'm a Blur - Say Anything.
Sirrush; I used to like Nightwish! Nemo by them is good. Within Temptation is a good band with a sort of similar sound.
And just because this song is awesome.

I'll listen to just about anything once... xD;; Some things I can only stand for a few seconds, and other songs require only another listen for me to decide that I like them. I love music with catchy melodies, and even more with catchy lyrics. I tend to read a lot into lyrics. Sometimes, even if I like a melody, if I don't like the lyrics, I won't listen to the song. ^^; Also, 'cause I'm too lazy to go out and look for music, and too jaded to turn on a radio, my musical supply is very limited. Also... I don't want to get in trouble with my school 'net for downloading copyrighted music. :> Most of the music I do have I get from my brother, my boyfriend, or Gaians like you. biggrin I love you guuuyyysss. <3 One of my school friends got me into Imogen Heap and Eisley. My first Eisley song was Marvelous Things, though I don't like the video as much as the song by itself. My favorite song from their album Room Noises, which is the only Eisley CD I've owned, is probably Brightly Wound. I also love Memories and I Wasn't Prepared for This. ^^;; I just love the surreal, melancholy feel of their music and the vivid imagery of their lyrics. They're not so much the rocking out type, but I love them all the same. As for Imogen Heap... I haven't been following her so closely lately, but I do love her solo albums as well as her work in Frou Frou. I think the first song by Imogen Heap I heard was probably Shh... introduced to me by the same friend who introduced me to Eisley. She has one of the most eclectic fashion styles I've ever seen and I love it. xD One of my favorite videos is Headlock and also Hide and Seek... which I had heard before I even heard that it had been used on an episode of The OC (never watched The OC in my life <_<;; ). Every once in a while, I love Angry Angel and Sweet Religion. Immi is... she's got a little something for every mood, but she's a bit more about the instrumental and less about the rockin' out, though she really, really always sincerely puts her soul into her music. <333 Here's a clip of her performing Let Go live; it's a bit different from her album version, but I love the new flavor she puts in it. <333 Some of you might know Let Go from the Garden State soundtrack; Zach Braff apparently hand-picked this song for his film. She's also done Can't Take it In. I also love Speeding Cars, which Amyrinth actually used for her Imogen Heap Audio. <333 GOSH. Just go on a whole YouTube spree of Immi, it's so worth it. xD I might not have picked some of the best vids... patchy sound and whatnot... but the wonderful ones of her live... especially with Just For Now, are gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. <333 Goodnight and Go (live)I've recently fallen in love with the Yoshida Brothers and their shamisen magic. <333 You know those Wii commercials with the twangy awesomeness in the background? xD Pretty sure that's them. Rising Yoshida BrothersWhat else... I also love, love, love video game remixes... I jused have a bunch of stuff from OverClocked Remix (www.ocremix.com). While I'm on the subject, I'mma plug a vid of my brother. He even does his own arrangements. <3 I misses him. D: I also like The Black Mages and their awesome Final Fantasy remixes. :>

Chobi; They're good. <3 I don't have a lot though. D< I need to make a list if what I need to download.
Silver; xDDD I have Plenty of Paper by Eisley, and Imogen Heap's collab with Blue October, Congratulations. Both are really good. Totally agree with you on the lyrics. Lyrics make or break a song.
Wooow. You know you have too much music when... xDD; <3
