 A non-formal RP for Azrael, Lolita, and Ilinea. <3

The Setting: A small clearing in a moderately sized forest. There are several tree stumps and small boulders lying about, and the grass grows to about shoulder-height on an adult winiko.

 [[ I'll be RPing in mostly short sentences instead of OOC, but feel free to do whatever you have the time or patience to do. xD ]]
Padding into the forest clearing, Azrael eyed it carefully before striding amongst the tall grasses. Sitting atop a rather large stump so he could see easier, his tail twitched, eyes glancing to every movement he saw with a light bout of anxiety. He hoped they'd come... they wouldn't abandon him now, would they? No, of course not.... right?

Lolita wandered through the woods. She knew Azrael was waiting and was making her way to him. When she finds the clearing, she beams, seeing him there, and gallops across the grass to him.

 Ilinea was the last to come. Things had caused her to slow down a bit, what with having a mate now.. and adopting Cornelius, she didn't have as much time alone as she use to. Still, she would always make time for her parents, no matter how old she got.
Striding through the forest was met these days with more of a solemn step through the glade, not anywhere near as curious as her duel colored eyes had once been. There was more of a peace in her heart the older she grew, and yet in these days she had somewhere found more of a sharp edge that had been hidden deep inside her throughout her growing years. It was that sharpness that led her to believe that her mother's spirit was still lingering somewhere deep inside of her.
As Ilinea made it out from behind a large branch, she paused as a light smile swept across her face when seeing her mother and father together. It had been a long time since she had seen that sight, probably since she was a young child. So in that moment, instead of deciding to barge in, she simply sat down and watched, letting them have a moment or two alone before she would make her appearance to them. Of course.. she had her news she wanted to share, neither of them knew that she was now mated and she couldn't wait to tell them both, but for now that could wait.

Crooning loudly, Azrael gracefully vaulted himself down from the stump, heart relaxing now that at least his mate had arrived. He met her halfway, neck arched so he could reach down and nose affectionately against her cheek.
"Lolita," he muttered gratefully, skeletal wings folding tight against his back, "I am glad that... you came." His maw pulled back into a smile, eyes alight with more contentment then showed in his dark face. The grass tickled at his underbelly and his tail swatted towards it out of reflex. "Ilinea should be here soon... as well then, yes? It has been... too many moons since we were all together."

 Lolita beamed and nuzzled at him in return, her tail flagged in the air, her eyes bright and happy. "Azrael, how could I not? I've missed you, my love..." She nodded. "I believe she will be joining us... I certainly hope so." She sighs softly and her tail shifts to rest on his back. "It has been far too long... I would be just as happy to spend the evening with you as I will be to have Ilinea here." She snuggles close to him.

Letting out a breath, Ilinea slowly made her way from the trees. She smiled at both of her parents, lowering her head in respect. "Evening." She lifted her head, a bright smile painted on her face.

Azrael's smile broadened. "And I... have missed you just as dearly." he replied, shaking his head enough to ruffle his mane. He opened his maw to speak, but startled a bit as Ilinea's voice met his ears. His eyes snapped upwards, his smile changing into a grin.
"Hello, little one," he crooned, tail seemingly tying knots in itself out of sheer excitement and elation, "Though I do have to say that... you are not so little any more." He chuckled softly, a soft purr coming from the back of his throat.

Lolita looked up, startled, then smiled a little. "Hello, Ilinea... how are you, daughter?" She leaned against her mate, her tail sliding back and forth.

"Hello Father." She smiled a bit at the sight of the much larger male. Her tail twitched as her eyes glanced over toward her mother, wondering slightly why her mother seemed aloof. She frowned to herself but tried to not let it bother her. "I'm okay.." She let her voice trail off for she was now realizing how hard it would be to tell her mother the truth. Excited to tell her father, but her mother was another story. "How are the both of you?"
