Her nose flared as she took in the landscape. It was much too bright for her liking, but the trees around her were proving to be quite useful in shade. They hide her dark body rather smoothly but she was careful to avoid their touch. The heated aura that blazed around her was thankfully tamed at the moment, but sometimes feelings erupted that not even she could not control. She would have hated to burn down a forest just because she was upset or something.

But then again, she loved watching things burn.

Deumos decided to walk along the forest's edge, and as she did she watched for any signs of life or sounds in the adjacent landscape. She could tell a new season was coming, and the air felt brisker then it looked. To her the breeze felt wonderful, since she already was rather sultry in temperature.

With a light grunt emitted, she raised a brow and let her eyes dart back and forth, since predatory instincts would always come out to play when bored.

Whatever happened to appear in front of Deumos was certainly something. For awhile she only stared in silence, knowing fully well that the other mare was probably expecting some kind of response. But Deumos was too confused to really say anything. For awhile she could only conclude that this other mare was the complete opposite of her. She was the opposite in colors, speech, and general attitude. That was somewhat frightening for even her to realize. In truth she didn't think that sort of thing was possible.

"Pretty?" The word painfully slide out of her mouth, and she squinted her eyes towards the much brighter mare. "I'm afraid I don't incorporate myself with that word. I believe it is more fit for you're description." The orange air around her was still nicely tamed, and Deumos was starting to find some curiosity in the current situation. This was her first time being out in the open like they were. And never had she met someone who wasn't as equally defensive or aggressive as her.

Perhaps the world was a scarier place then she initially thought? Who would have thought kindness could openly exist??

"Where exactly did you come from?" she then inquired, while raising her eyes upwards in complete surprise.

How could the mare have possibly come from above? Deumos continued to stare at the complete blueness in hesitation. There was nothing up there. But then again, as if she would know. She came from her own layers of madness, so maybe the world carried more mysteries then she could fathom? Or... not. "I understand you have wings, so I guess your travels make sense." Heh, and there the other went again, talking about this pretty thing. It clearly meant more to her then to Deumos. "I can't argue with your thoughts." And with a nod, she eyed the mare's wings rather carefully. "So many stars reside on you. I've heard of them before, but I've never seen them with my eyes." She wasn't sure what she thought of them, but they were nice and shiny.

"Uh..." Deumos then looked around herself in a somewhat confused manner. The fire that surrounded her had been there since her brain started working. So really, she never seemed to notice the fire at all in retrospect. "Well yeah it burns things. But sometimes its as light as air, I guess it listens to me and depends how I'm feeling." The fire was awful when she was angry, but then again, the fire was mighty hearty when the temperature was cooler. "Its a part of me, and yet sometimes it does what it wants." Heh, imagine that. But maybe that summed her personality together as well? "Like I said, pretty defines you." A small grin appeared on her face, and she found some amusement in the way the other mare was reacting to everything. "You are a happy individual, aren't you? What's that feel like?"

"Well, no." Deumos was quick to respond, only because it was true. It wasn't that she was an idiot or anything, but she seriously didn't know the true context behind the word. "Do not fret, I assure you my life has been sustainable without it. I guess where I come from, the creatures don't really rely on complete emotions. We just.. do what is necessary, follow orders, and live." Whereas, everyone in this new land was very open with what and how they were feeling. They didn't have to be doing anything, feeling was all they needed. It was so different, but yet sort of refreshing. Deumos was at least starting to uncover that 'feeling' herself. "There are much worse sins. And, if you are happy that keeps me satisfied. Those that emit happiness deserve it afterall. So, do you enjoy flying? I watched many creatures fly above me yesterday."

Deumos would have to look for Wish sometime in the air, since so far she'd seen all sorts of creatures. Though, when she spoke of actual wishes, Deumos wondered if that was truly right. But then again, she had never actually wished on a star. So she added it to her list of things to do. "I did not know that, but I'll try it." she then bumped her head lightly before staring at the mare's colors. "I didn't even notice, but you're tail is similar to mine. See we aren't that different I suppose." So far she'd seen creatures with hair for tails, but Wish also had a long curvy tail. "Do you have lots of friends here wish? You strike me as the type that would."

It was no surprise that Deumos forgot to ask the mare of her name. Where she was from, many also carried her name or other forms of it in slightly different meanings. But once again she'd remember next time to ask names when necessary. That was something that marked normality when confronted with a new creature. "You can call me Deumos, Wish." she then said, while glancing her eyes off and on some birds in the tree. The other mare's struggle with the word pretty was indeed humorous, and Deumos felt herself chuckle lightly in response to Wish's rant. "It is fine, now that we have used the word pretty so much I am getting used to what it sounds like. And it is much nicer to take in then ugly." So, there were no complaints there. "So do you try and grant people's wishes? Well, I only ask because of you're name."
