I hate it when bands drag on their career for years, when there is talk of a breakup. It's not fair to the fans, to keep them hoping and wishing for more. And in the end, it's always the same. They break up, which everyone figured would have 194835793485740235740 months before.
Prime Example: Evanescence is Over. The Amy Lee Show has ended her "band", for the most part. Miss hot shot wants to do scores for movies. rofl
Or Vintersphrost, it says they are together but they haven't even finished their album from '05. They have song titles, but no actualy music. Uh, what??

He HAS the album, he just wont release it. Besides it was mediocre at best.

I wonder if Metallica aspires to the track record of the Rolling Stones. Bands should call it quits after they stop being relevant. E.g. Metallica post-AJFA.

Yes, the Strolling Bones have been playing for so long that they no longer really have any feeling in their shows. And I agree that And Justice For All... was Metallica's last and greatest album.

But he barely wrote any of the music. i know, yet after he died the band started sucking major balls. emotional turmoil, mayhaps?
