I persoally wanted McCain for several reasons. I am fine with Obama as the new prez, I am intrested in seeing what he will do. I am just a little flustered that a lot of people that voted for him either didn't have a reason for voting for him, or they voted for him because he is black (he is technically half black, half white [black dad, white mom] and in actuality, wanting someone in office because of their race [even for history's sake] is a bad reason.) Anyways, I am curious how thing will play out and think this will be an interesting term.

I still think he would have won in the end though. It would have been way closer though. Personally, I was an Obama fan from the start. I never heard anything outstanding about either, but McCain just seemed too much like Bush to me. Also I didn't like how McCain's side kept mudslinging. I'm not just talking about McCain and company, I'm talking about his supporters too. They were all acting so stupid. Whenever I saw one be interviewed, they'd always say something like "Oh well, I'm afraid of that guy cuz he's Muslim even though he's not, but still I think he's a terrorist...." (Honestly, that's all I ever heard from that side. Bad things against Obama...) Though, my opinion doesn't matter much.......being Canadian.......lol.....

i hate politics. hate it, hate it, hate it. very boring and to much conflict. some people can go on for hours arguing how one person is better, then this person, but then this person is better then this one. half of what they tell you is a lie or is a half truth or stretched truth. they hardly ever tell you the real truth. and i hate trying to figure out what part is the real or not. it is annoying.
