Well, I just realized the kind of questions I posted, wow they were lame. But at least I know what others think. Which I give full respect towards the responces.
Those questions were a bit odd and not that great. My apologies. They were making me sound like a poser. Oiy. I am not wiccan, I am a Pagan. But everyone harbors something different. Anyhow, hope all is well with everyone.
Blessed Be. Ash

Salem Ellizabeth Reed Now, I am new to this Club, but I would like to just ask what the lot of your beliefs within this Practice/Religion stand. I am only being a curious cat. What draws you into the interest of the Craft? What makes you want to know more or become a practitioner? Do you feel its what you want part of your path in life to harbor? What do you know of the Craft? Do you believe in the practice? If you would become a practitioner of the Old Ways, would you follow under the Rede and be devout? These are just some of the curiousGeorge questions I have. Only some, because I am unsure of how to fraise what ever else I might ask. If you feel comfortable answering, then go for it. 4laugh If you wish not to, then, theres no issue, not going to nag it out. With Love & Light, ~Aloisia RoseWater~ I was interested into the craft when I talked to a friend's friend about what her religion means, as I never heard of Wicca before. I found out that it's an Earth-Based religion that deals with the elemants, witchcraft, and other things as well. I once gone out with a girl who was Wiccan and almost became High Priestess, she told me about the different types of magick and the verity of spells and whatnots, and It left to to where i want to explore more about Witchcraft and Wicca as well to learn more about it. Sadly, after I did some research, some of the things she told me could be "fluffy". I broke up with her after she lied to me too many times then cheated on me. I like Wicca because 1) This is a pagan religion that is nature based. 2) The people who are Wiccan are very friendly towards other. 3) This religion does not believe in hell or any devil, so it's perfectly save. 4) they don't believe in any end-times, and 5) You can learn alot of stuff that can help you and others as well like healing and different cooking stuff and knowledge of plants that are used for both majick and other useful stuff. I don't know about the practitioner much, I know it deals with become a priest of the religion, however I'm still studying about Wicca, and need to read the books from many Wiccans to learn about their beliefs and theories. I am mostly a computer gamer, and currently having ties of getting a job and whatnots that uses most of my time. So I don't think I be a priest, and I don't want to become a very religious fanatics. I do follow the Wiccan Rede as It is a very easy rule for me to follow, "as ye harm none, do as ye will", as I am a peaceful guy who avoids conflicts.

So... Your questions are really interesting and I will try to answer the best I can.
So I think I am a natural witch. When I was a kid, something like 3 or 4 years old, I remember a day... the first pope election I can see on TV when my father said to me that he had the hope to don't have a christian child (he is laïc guy and my family and christian roman church had not a good relation despite the french revolution indeed mrgreen ). Well, my answer was that I am an Athena child... My father laughed and he said to me that I didn't know what Athena is. Well I answered to him that she is the perfect goddess ever especially when she gave an oliver tree to human being and she also had an owl always around her. Again today he doesn't understand where I can ear this information. I was 4 years old and I knew too much for my age. Even my mum didn't say anything to me ? I will always remember that day. The next experience I had was some astral travel, I don't know how you say in english. That's happened after a beach day, I going to bed for having a break before a night at some parent's friend diner and my spirit leave my body, I ear everything and after I give some answers to my parents who doesn't understand how I could knows what they said when I was asleep. I have plenty of that experiences, some fairies gift etc... Spirit experiences too with people of my family. That was so natural.
But someday at 22 years old I started to read occult things, and now I would like to leave the place where I am not really appropriate for a real life practising.
I study lot of things, I have affinity with tarot, dreams traduction for I can do in the bad place. That's pretty much it I can say. Oh I know my spiritual guides and my animal totem but it seems that I need to learn lot of things and the practising, studying needs an all life.

Reading this makes me think about how much there is out there that humans don't know about. It's kinda saddening sometimes.

Electric Snowball Reading this makes me think about how much there is out there that humans don't know about. It's kinda saddening sometimes. What do you mean ? About us or others people who are afraid by the unknown ??? Because it's hard to have an explanation to everything and sometimes we need to search a lot, few people have this kind of spirit. And lot of others seems more innocent or searching an answer on science. But science can't explain everything and sometimes the answers of our question is right there but we can't see it. That's need too much open mind sometimes. So you don't need to be sad, I think human beings can but I am not sure that they really want at the moment. Maybe that will change someday. edit : Can don't means the same things than can't ! xp xp xp xp

I am very pleased to hear these responces. The reason I asked these is because there are to many posers now-a-days and I wish not to talk with someone who claims but never does. I am just very pleased =].
Blessed Be.

What draws you into the interest of the Craft? when i fully read the bible (when i got to leviticus i threw the book at the wall but went and finnished.) in one night i started looking and i found wicca. A mother goddess and a father god seemed more plasable that we all came from just a man. What makes you want to know more or become a practitioner? am a practitioner but i know i have been put onto this path for a reason. I am to learn what i havent learned in my past lives and to teach others of what they need to learn Do you feel its what you want part of your path in life to harbor? yes What do you know of the Craft? I know much but i work mostly with healing and divination.Do you believe in the practice? If you would become a practitioner of the Old Ways, would you follow under the Rede and be devout? I am and i follow the rede to an extent the rede is just advice

well to start off, mostly everyone else has got it covered. I will tell you one thing though. Not all witches are wiccan and not all wiccans are witches. Some practice the religion, but not the craft. Others practice the craft but not the religion (ussually closet(secret) &/or kitchen witches). Also, wicca is a pagan religion. The description on this clans home page lists a few pagan religions, so: All wiccans are technically Pagan, but not all Pagans are wiccan. Wicca has sevral branches (to name a few, gardenerian, dianic, solitary) and several wiccans choose to remain solitary &/or eclectic. Also, wicca is a very open and wide-ranging religion. What that means is: not all wiccans completely agree with their fellow wiccans, but accept that others' beliefs are right for them and that all pagan paths are correct in some way. biggrin

What draws you into the interest of the Craft? When I was in preschool, my best friend and i thought of ourselves reincarnated egyptian goddesses of the elements wind and water (She was wind i was water) As time went on she found a book written by silver raven wolf, i loved the spellwork in there, and later i just found the craft to be the most comforting thing in the world, now its apart of me, i feel as if my gods go everywhere i go, and never feel alone anymore because of it.
What makes you want to know more or become a practitioner? I have encountered spirits and I am somewhat sensitive towards them. I can feel them, i can tell if they are good or bad, and if i know how they died then i could tell you what they were wearing, what age group, and what they looked like when they did die. The spirits are what make me want to learn more. I also want to practice because of the enlightenment i see when i read the spells i want to do.
Do you feel its what you want part of your path in life to harbor? Yes i do more than anything, I also want to help with the world around me... i feel that i need to save this place that seems as if it is ending.
What do you know of the Craft? I know there are many different traditions, I know its a pantheonic religion, I know that we strive to help the world and community... and lots more, but i still want to learn more smile
Do you believe in the practice? Yes i do, I am learning about it, and how to work the practices properly currently. However... sad i need to start being more responsible and actually start practicing... or i'll never learn...
If you would become a practitioner of the Old Ways, would you follow under the Rede and be devout? If i didn't... i feel like i'm betraying my own religion... Y?

If you feel comfortable answering, then go for it. 4laugh If you wish not to, then, theres no issue, not going to nag it out. With Love & Light, ~Aloisia RoseWater~ What drew me to the Craft? Well, I used to be LDS, but I never felt close to their God. So I looked for a religion that I felt close to, and found Wicca. First of all, I love that it is nature based. I have always felt close to nature. In first grade, they showed a video about people cutting down forests and I cried even though people made fun of me. And second, I feel extremely close to the God and Goddess. They have protected me from a lot of my own stupid mistakes. Like I stepped on a glass lightbulb and didn't get glass in my foot, and ran into a thick metal bar and there was no bruise or anything, just a lot of little stuff like that. I just feel like they're all around at all times, and it's comforting. Why do I want to know more? I want to know more about the practice because I want to grow closer to the Goddess and God, for one. Second, I think it would be very interesting to know about the old religion. Studying it is almost like going back in time. : D I'm not limiting myself to this religion yet, but it draws me like magnet. Plus, everyone in the craft seems so friendly and easy-going. I love it. xD You know, I never thought I'd be really religious until now. In retrospect, I thought I would never stick to one religion. Do I feel like it's what I want part of my path in life to harbor? Maybe. I'm not sure yet. I'm still learning about all of the different religions. What do I know of the craft? Forgive me if I get anything wrong, I'm still quite new to this. I know that it is a nature-based religion that circulates around deity, the Earth, and witchcraft, which makes me happy. : D I know about the rede, 'An ye harm none, do what ye will'. And other stuff like that. Do I believe in the practice? Indubitably. I believe that all religions have some truth to them. Would I follow the rede and be devout if I were to become a practitioner? Yes, I would. Thank you for the questions. : D
