Tiifu truly enjoyed watching the sunrise, but it seemed like she hadn't found the time to do so in quite a while. She'd met so many interesting characters lately! And she couldn't help but think she was going to meet many more before her life was over... It was that thought that stuck in her mind as she closed her eyes and let her mind wander.
The lone cheetah moved slowly towards what was the remainder of a watering hole, never really intending on drinking out of it. The murky water almost made seeing through it impossible, but when he had, he saw what he knew was there his whole life. Himself. So, he hadn’t changed, at least, he didn’t think he had. She was gone though. His children were gone, off frolicking with whomever was there. Davu couldn’t stop them. They were adults; he was an adult.
He looked to the left and right, noting a shape coming towards him. It was a darker color feline, more stockier built then he was. Shivers ran up his spine as he watched the figure, instincivly moving away slightly.
It wasn't long before the sun had risen and Tiifu got up to truly begin to wander. But after a moment, she spotted a long, lean figure in the distance, and began to move in that direction. From the build, she guessed it was a cheetah, and the scent soon confirmed it. She smiled as she came over and sat down before Davu, nodding her head towards him politely.
"Hello, sir. What brings you out and about so early this beautiful morning?"
As the feline sat before, Davu realized that this was no cheetah at all. In fact, he didn’t even believe this to be a lion considering most of them had the little mane tufts on their head; he leaned towards the right and noticed the other missing portion of the lion. The tail tuft. His yellow eyes gave a questioning look, but nevertheless backed away once more.
”N…nothing i..im…imparticular…” He murmured to her quietly, lowering his gaze to look at the floor. The ground was ever so interesting!

"I'm Tiifu'ini. What's your name?"
She could tell the cheetah was anxious, and she did her best to put him at ease. He really did seem like a sweet boy...
”D..Davu….Davu’Adem.” He stuttered, which was always the same when it came to meeting new characters.
”I…it’s nice to meet you.” He slowly began to ease up around the female, as she hasn’t seemed like a big threat to him yet. “Wh…what are you?” Adem was curious of this new feline. Obviously she was a female, but the species? He had never met one that looked like this before. He wondered then if his children had met any different species in the Savannah as well.

"A pleasure to meet you, Davu," Tiifu said, smiling as the cheetah eased up. At his question, her ears perked forward and she hummed thoughtfully. She'd never thought she'd meet someone who didn't know what a leopard was, but she didn't mind it. "I'm a leopard."
A leopard eh? That was certainly different. He hadn’t met one before, but he had remembered some stories about them his parents told him when he was younger. Now, what was the exact plot of it…hmm… He thought for a moment, but when it never came clear to his mind, he let it go.
”Interesting…” He murmured under his breath, rising up before moving closer to the female, tilting his head with so much interest.
