 Haramu stared around at the bits of grass and one or two trees in the area around her. She had wandered away from a stream hours ago, she wasn't really sure which direction she had come from, seeing as how she hadn't really walked in a straight line.
Walking in boredom hardly ever led to one walking in a straight line. What would be the point of that? There wouldn't be. Hara paused by one of the shrubs and nuzzled her head against it. She knew there was a pond or puddle or something near by, she just had to find it.

Thankfully for Haramu, the stream wasn't too far away at all. In fact, if she listened close, she would no doubt hear the sound of someone drinking from said stream right now. It was full of murky water, certainly nothing like the cleanest stream one could find, but the murk was nothing more than silt stirred up by the pale blue lion wading about. There were fish in this stream, little ones, but fish regardless. Hak'Zhakuu had acquired a taste for more unusual dishes, fish included, in his travel, and he was not standing squarely in the middle of the stream, staring down at the passing forms.
With a mighty smack he slapped the water, sending spray and one ill-fated fish flying into the air. The fish flopped roughly to the shore, and he jogged out after it, biting down and pinning it beneath his paws. One tug and it was done for, a snack for the ravenous lion. For all the smell of the water and the stink of the fish, he couldn't smell the nearby lioness, though by now she had to have heard him messing about.

Hara tilted her head at the splashing noises, and grinned, knowing that either, there was a river or stream near by with someone in it, or she was going crazy. She was rather hoping it was the former, and not the latter.
Hara slowly made her way to the source of water, spotting and interestingly coloured lion.
Hara cleared her throat, making a few noises, attempting to get the lions attention without shocking him too much. She enjoyed making new friends, and would much prefer to not make any enemies out of potential friends.

Hak'Zhakuu looked up and around at the lioness, smiling kindly and motioning that she was welcome with a toss of his great head. "I don't bite, please do join me." He managed between bites of his fish. "I'm sorry I can't offer you any food, this fish is barely a snack for one." He finished, nudging the bony remains of the fish with a paw. "Should you be hungry though, I would gladly catch you one."
He moved towards the female, slipping easily into a polite bow. "I am Hak'Zhakuu, Comte of...well let's just say of a pride quite far from here. It is always nice to meet a new person."

Hara Grinned and moved closer, sot hat she could stare down into the waters, seeing the murky shadows of fish go by. "I'm alright for now, though I'm sure I'll ask you if I suddenly get hungry. Though, might I ask your name? " She paused for a moment," Oh, wait, maybe I should offer mine first!" She chuckled at her self and looked down bashfully.
"I'm Haramu Pendu and it's pleasure to meet you."

Hak nodded and returned to what remained of his snack, gnawing daintily at the jagged bones. Some he even chewed up and swallowed. They tasted alright, and he figured he could get something out of them.
He looked up when the lioness introduced herself. "Ah, it is a pleasure indeed, my lady. Company is rare of late, wouldn't you agree?" He was on his best behavior, in a good mood and thus a perfect gentleman today.

Hara nodded her head in agreement, slowly of course, still getting used to this new acquaintance. "Yes, though I run into enough company to keep myself from becoming overly lonely."
Hara sighed and looked at the water, leaning in to drink some of it.
"So, are you from around these parts...? I don't believe you gave your name."

Hak tilted his head a bit. Hadn't he given her his name? He was sure he had, but he may as well repeat it. No harm in that. "I am Hak'Zhakuu, and no. I ma from a pride rather far away, that I have been gone from a long time. I am on the way back there now, actually. And yourself?" He also hadn't seen the female around, but then, he'd been gone so long...for all he knew he'd known her family years ago.

Hara nodded taking in what he had told her, but paused before she answered him. " I.. I'm not from a pride, all I remember are the rogue lands. They are all I know..." Hara looked down momentarily when an idea struck her.
"What is your pride like? I've always wanted to know what that sort of life was like..."

Ahh, so no, he did not know her. No matter though. "The rogue lands are not so bad. You meet many interesting folks in them, I've seen." He offered a charming smile, perhaps hinting that Hara herself was one such lioness.
"My pride? Well as I said, I have been gone long. It may be quite different now, but as I remember it...My home was called Fhu'Ra'Nszhu. Filled with lions of all sorts, it was, and everyone had their place. As long as you kept to your task, what you were good at, and didn't get in the way, life was good. Few ever wanted for shelter or food, and those that did were soon taken care of by our rulers themselves."

Grinning she nodded, taking in his words, she loved to gather new information, learning about prides was something she cherished, being a rogue her whole life. "That must of been nice, living with a family. So what brought you so far out from your pride? Why for so long?" She hoped she was being intrusive, but she did want to keep the conversation going.

Hak'Zhakuu flicked an ear and smiled. "Yes. Family is nice." His kind grin hid that he was thinking about how very little of that commodity he had left. Only Father...and he had been old even when Hak had left. "Oh, this and that. One thing led to another, and before I knew it I'd been gone ages. That's partly why I am so anxious to return home."

Hara rolled unto the ground, on her back attempting to scratch an itch. After succeeding in doing so, she rolled back onto her stomach, sighing.
"I can only imagine, I hope to find an accepting family on my travels. As much as I enjoy traveling around freely, having company is always so nice."
She frowned, staring at the dirt.

"Mmm, indeed." The lioness was nice enough, she should have little trouble finding a place to call home. Of course, there was such a thing as being too nice, but she seemed alright. Taking a moment, he bent to drink from the water again. He really should get moving soon. A shame, it'd been nice to talk.
"My apologies, I really must get going. It's been a delight to talk with you, and I wish you luck finding whatever you're looking for." He bowed, the perfect gentleman to the end.
