"Quickly now Alexandria, don't fall behind. I will not be slowed in order to find you." a teenage girl cried out to the identical girl behind her. She didn't even bother to turn her head, or slowing her steps. The identical girl, known as Alexandria, hastened her steps, her blue eyes flickering back and forth around them, fearful of all the people around her. "Please don't leave me behind Desdemona, there are so many people here!" she spoke in a shaky voice, barely audible over the sounds of the large crowd. If Desdemona had heard her twin, she gave no sign for she didn't slow or falter.

It didn't take the pair long to reach the mall, their elaborate dress and unusual color caused the crowd to practically have a red sea effect, making it easy for the pair to reach their destination. The maid assigned to them hurried behind them, ready to do their bidding. Desdemona didn't bother turning, she expected them to be there. Thus she pushed open the mall door, stepping inside.

The mall was unlike anything either twin had ever seen, having grown up in poverty in the third world country of Haiti. Yet ever since stumbling onto a ship one stormy night, and accidentally being shipped to Japan, their life had been almost like a fantasy. Because of their unusual color, a rich Japanese couple instantly adopted them, lavishing them with all the things they have never experienced. Since the couple was the owners of a large company, they were often busy or away. Thus often the twins were sent to spend money, the couple trying to replace love with things.

Instantly Alexandria squealed with delight, the sights of the mall making her heart flutter with excitement. She ran up to Desdemona, grabbing her arm much like a young child would. "Can you believe this Des?! We can have anything we want! Oh, I can't believe this!" Alex cried out, not unlike a child in a free candy shop. Des couldn't help but smile to her sister, it had been long since they had reason to celebrate. "Well my dearest, what would you like first?" she asked, very much like a mother to a child. Alex's eyes widened, looking all around her. There was just so much to choose from!

And thus the pair wondered the many shops of the mall, indulging in every pleasure they possibly could.

Dante sighed sadly as he stared at his dead cellphone. He had forgotten to recharge it last night but that was only because he stayed up late talking to his cousin on the phone. After they had hung up, he had been too tired to even care. Boy, did he regret that choice! Dante depended on his cellphone for just about everything especially when it came to telling time! Not to mention, he needed to make a very important call today.

The boy lightly shook his head and spotted a nearby payphone. Moving away the hair the covered half of his face so he could get a better view, he quickly walked over towards it and began to fish for his wallet. Luckily, Dante actually had enough for the phone. Too bad for him, the coin had slipped out of his hands as soon as he took it out. He watched in horror as it rolled away into the crowd. What's even worse? That's his only coin.

"Wait! Come back!" Dante cried out in distress as he ran after it.

Failing to get his craft material at the store earlier in the week, Remus decided to head over to the towering twin Malls to get his material. The place sold anything and everything you could ever dreamed of, nothing escaped their inventories. If it did, it wouldn't stay that way for long. Walking briskly towards the towering buildings, Remus frowned and wiped a bead of sweat forming on his brow. He hated the humid air at this time of the year and hoped that the cool air-conditioning of the Mall would save him from a body of perspiration.

The glass doors automatically slid open as he approached them. A gush of cool air greeted his face and Remus sighed contentedly. He could now relax and slowly make his way to the shop. Although he didn't quite like crowds, he hated the humidity more than the crowds so it would suffice, for now, to mingle with them.

"Jiě!" cried the young boy as he was pulled. The one pulling him, Adda, hastily jeered onwards dragging the little boy behind. "Jiě!" cried the young boy again. Adda stopped and let go of the young boy's shirt. "Are you going to walk now, or what?" sneered Adda with a harsh tone. It was Adda's turn to supervise her younger brother. MeiMei was taken to daycare by her mother as she went out for her 'monthly mom's get-together". Her father was to work, so that left Adda to take care of her little annoying brother Joey. Joey had become rebellious when Adda disagreed to take him to the arcade in Hachiko Square. He fussed and fussed before Adda had to take the initiative of dragging him to the mall. A new BL novel had come out at the manga store and Adda was not going to miss the chance of missing it.

Joey continued to fuss as he followed behind Adda. "Jiě, your so mean!" he whined as he folded his arms in a rebellious position. Adda turned her head and shot him a glare and turned her head back to the front. Joey teased her with his tongue before looking the other way. Stores? Those looked like fun! Making sure that his sister was not looking, Joey dashed he other way into a store. He blinked as all he saw was there was only clothes. Good grief....

Suddenly Alexandria felt something hit her foot through her dainty slipper. She stopped in her tracks, slowly bending over to examine whatever it was. Her slender fingers came upon a coin and she picked it up. Her bright blue eyes gazed down upon it before she heard someone crying out. Quickly she looked up to see a long haired guy running their way. With a frightened squeal she ran up the few paces that Desdemona had got ahead of her. Tugging on her slightly older sister's sleeve, she hid behind her. Yet she forgot about the coin that was still in her hand, the very thing Dante was after.

Dante continued to crowd dodge as he tried to stop the coin from rolling away. When Alexandria had gotten a hold of the coin, he smiled and was going to call out to her after he had caught up and catch his breath. "Hey--!"

He was startled by her frighten cry and stopped in his tracks when she ran away. "Wait, miss! Please stop!" The boy yelled out as he ran after her again. He slouched over, his hand son his knees as he tried to take a deep breath.

The girl who had his coin was now with another...a twin? Dante straightened himself as he walked over towards the two. "E-excuse me miss...b-but..." Dante was seemed to be out of shape it seems. He didn't really run that much but he seemed to be so out of breath that he can't even finish his sentence.

Alexandria visually trembled with fright as the stranger talked to her. She hide behind Desdemona even more. A single eyebrow raised upon Desdemona's face, her fierce blue eyes gazing upon Dante. It was then she noticed that he was out of breath, and hardly something to be worried about.

With a rude swing of her head, Desdemona turned to Alexandria. "What have you done to him dearest Alexandria? He seems to want something from us." Although Des's words were kind, her voice had a tinge of annoyance.

Alexandria's eyes widened slightly with fear of her sister's voice. "I don't know sister! I... I..." she then remembered the coin in her hand. Alex bounced around to face Dante once more. She now had a smile on her face that made her look most like a painted up porcelain doll. "This is yours isn't it?", she held out the coin to him, it dingy upon her pristine white glove.

Dante took in deep breath as he felt his rapidly beating heart began to calm down. He wiped his forehead and grimaced to realize that running caused him to break out in sweat as well. "O-oh know, she didn't do anything wrong, it's just--"

As soon as Alexandria held up the coin for him to see, Dante began to brighten up again. "Ah, yes! Thank you for picking it up. I was going to ask if you could return it to me, but you ran away. I must have scared you. Sorry" The boy apologized.

Alexandria just laughed it off, her voice not unlike that of a innocent child although she was clearly around the age of seventeen. She handed him the coin with a smile. "Yes, you gave me quite the fright running toward me with such speed, and then giving chase! But all is well now, you have your belonging back. I am glad to have been able to retrieve it for you!" she said in a musical like voice, her bright blue eyes sparkling.

Desdemona let them get no further in conversation, it wouldn't be well for them to be caught talking to a boy. It was hard enough to convince their adapted father to let them out with a guardian, he would surely revoke that privilege if their maid caught them with Dante. "Very well then, let use move on dear sister. The boy has been returned his item. We must hurry home before we break curfew. The train will be leaving soon." Desdemona was careful to call Alexandria sister instead of by her name, leaving the boy with as little information about them as possible. She began to lead Alexandria off by the elbow.

Alexandria meant to protest this, she wanted to talk to him! It had been very so long since she had a friend... Yet she knew better than to cross her older sister so she followed suit. Quickly she turned her head to get a last look of him, to let her mind store the image for a later date. When she was lonely she would pretend he was her friend...

Desdemona took them from the mall after finding their maid who had managed to get a good bit a head. With their packages in tow, they made their way to the train stop.

Dante couldn't help but smile cheerfully towards Alexandria when he was handed the coin back. Not only that, but she really seemed like a pleasure to talk to. "Thank you again!" He says, making sure that he had a very firm grip on it now.

He would have offered a bit more appreciation towards the girl. He found himself frowning lightly as her twin lead the other away. The boy wasn't one to interfere with anybody's life especially when they could be extremely busy. Dante could only merely offer a mere wave good bye with a small smile on his face towards Alexandria until they disappeared through the doors.

Realization dawned upon him that he still had yet to make his important phone call and he shouldn't just stand around looking lost forever. "Better get to it now..." He muttered bitterly towards himself.

The boy would definitely get an earful of nagging from Victoria, he was sure of it!
