It was early in the morning and as had become routine lately, Siti was kicked awake, so she rose and walked off for her morning alone time. She did not wish to be snappy or rude because she was becoming irritated by the kicking in her belly and her the slowing of her body. Soon hunting would become very hard, but Siti knew she needed to keep herself and her unborn cubs fed, not to meant her student, who thank the gods could hunt for herself and the little cub Udo.

She moved along letting herself drift in her thought, she was surprised she had not been followed this morning and was happy for it. She was not feeling to hospitable at the moment. The sun was rising slowly in the sky and Siti stopped to simply take in the beauty, she looked the sunrise and the sunset, especially from a tree. Alas, tree climbing was becoming a bit difficult, but Siti still took refuge in the tree when ever she had the strength.

Not too far away from Siti, a tiny black form was huddling, whimpering and mewling miserably. Where was Brother? He'd left Korrin alone, and now there was a LION! What if the lion ATE Korrin? Oh why did Brother leave him alone again? Nevermind that the lion was fat, like she had just eaten, Korrin was small enough that he'd always be a good snack, even if he was full grown. And if he was eaten he'd never find Brother!

And so the serval stayed huddled in the bushes, his whimpering, "Brother...Brother!" unable to be stopped, even if he knew it might draw the female's attention.

Siti's ears perked up as she heard small sounds near by. She moved towards the sound and heard a small cry of brother, brother. Siti did not see anyone, but she could certainly smell the animal.

"Hello, who is there? Are you alright?" Siti called out softly to the apparently frightened animal, "I won't hurt you."

Siti forward a bit more and she could see what looked like a small black cub? She had most certainly never seen a cub, like the one before her, but she was traveling with two hybrids and therefore it was most certainly not unexpected.

With horror Korrin realized the lioness was actually coming towards him. There was still a chance he would have gotten away unseen if he had just lain there silently, but his fear made him call out even louder, squealing for his lost sibling to come find him, save him.

And then the lioness was right on top of him, and he curled into a little ball, shaking, waiting to feel teeth tear into his side...And then he heard her ask if he was alright.

He peeked one pale blue eye out from under his paws at the lioness...oh her teeth were so big! "You...you're going to eat me right? So just get it over with! Oh Brother, why did you leave meee!" He wailed, hysterical with fear.

Siti could not help to laugh gently at the 'cubs' reaction. She wondered what would make him think she would eat him.

"I am not going to eat you, I much prefer prey animals to other felines thank you."

She was worried when she heard him calling out to his brother. This feline did not seem like the type to want to explore and she figured his brother was just off for a while. It made her wondered where the mother was fore he seemed rather terrified.

"Calm down will you. I really am not going to hurt you." She lay down trying to make herself look less threatening while still trying to keep her distance.

"Now, about this brother of yours, surely he will be back soon."

Prey animals to other felines...so he wasn't about to be gobbled up. "Or you're just saying that to make me THINK you're not going to eat me." He shivered when the lioness lay down, unsure of what she was going...oh why was she so intent on bothering him, he just wanted to find Bako and get back to him!

"Wait, you know Bako? He's coming back you think?" A sudden sound (a bird taking flight) sent him scampering, and he huddled against Siti's side. It took a moment for him to realize he was right beside the same creature he had thought would eat him...and he was still alive. "If you know Bako, then you must be okay...but he's gone! He left me so long ago and he never came back! What if he got eaten?"

Siti couldn't help but to laugh, "No, I'm not trying to make you think I'm not going to eat you. Im really not going to eat you." Siti wondered what would make the cub really think she wanted to eat him. She was too be a mother all too soon and that would be rather inappropriate.

Siti smiled at the cub huddled against her but frowned when he asked if she knew his brother. "Unfortunately I do not know Bako, but I'm sure he did not get eaten, just call it a hunch. Now how long ago did he leave you and when was the last time you ate."

She really thought the cub was too cute, but seemed a bit older than he looked, even if not much older. She wondered what type of hybrid he was, if he even was a hybrid. She decided to ask, "I am Nabila Siti, what's you name little one and are you a hybrid?"

Siti hoped the cub knew what that was, but she doubted it.

"That is a mixed breed that is."

Korrin shivered lightly, but seemed to clam with a warm body beside him. It reminded him of when he used to curl up with Bako...Oh Bako! "You're sure? I don't know what I'd do if Bako was eaten...I'm...I'm Korrin." He managed, looking up at Siti with a good bit less fear than before. She was nice. She wanted to help him find Bako. "I think...I think it's been. Before Bako left. He brought me a mouse." That would make it at least a day. Probably more.

"A hybrid? I don't...I don't think so. Bako would know...I don't remember anyone but Bako, and I look like him." Korrin gave up meekly, ears drooping that he wasn't able to give nice-Siti a good answer.

"I miss Brother..." Instead of crying this time though, he simply pressed himself closer to Siti, clinging to the comfort she offered.

Siti could feel Korrin shiver beside her, she was surprised he had stayed beside her, but it did not bother. The feeling was something she loved and she could not wait for her cubs to be born. "Its nice to meet you Korrin and yes I'm sure your brother has not been eaten."

Siti was a little worried that Korrin and Bako must have lost the mother. Korrin was small but a mouse was even a small meal for a cub. She would have to get Korrin something to eat and soon she figured as he did not really give her a time period.

As Siti thought, Korrin did not really understand the hybrid question, but she figured that was okay. She sighed at the sad cub pressed up against her and brought her tail up around him, before leaning down to give him a cuddle.

"Everything will be okay. I will try my best to help you find Bavo, if thats what you'd like. It might take some time though, so in the mean time, we will have to get you something to eat. Sound good to you?"

Korrin snuggled into Siti's tail, a little surprised that it was so easy to trust this lion, even when Bako wasn't here. She was nice, for a lion, and even though he didn't exactly understand all she asked him, or why she wanted to help, he didn't care. His nerves were frayed from his paranoia and the anxiety attack brought on from being alone, and Siti wanted to help.

"That...would be nice." He finally piped up. He'd never gone to find Bako before. Usually he just stayed put, mewling until he came back. But if they went looking they might find him faster, and a lion was big and tall, so she could see above the grass where he couldn't. "That would be really nice, actually. Thank you Siti." He cuddled against her, then jumped when e felt...it almost felt like the thing in her stomach was cuddling back!

"W-what's in there?" He eyed her rounded belly nervously. What if it was something bad?!

Siti smiled happy to see Korrin calming down and happy he agreed to her helping him find his brother. It excited her because it seemed as though she would have another little one joining her 'hybrid' group. Siti was enraptured by the little cub and hoped she would be able to help him.

"Your very welcome Korrin," said Siti smiling. She was a bit surprised by his jumping, but when she noticed him looking at her belly she knew what it was. He been cuddle her and the cubs were shifting about 'cuddling' back.

"My cubs are trying to say hello. Soon they will come out and meet the world, but for now they need to stay safe, tucked away in her tummy." Siti giggled slightly as the cubs moved about a bit more, although she hoped they would calm down before she had to hunt. She looked to Korrin again and thought maybe it would be better for him to be at the den while she hunted.

"Korrin," she started, "would you like to rest in my den while I hunt? It would be safer for you and you would not be alone. I currently traveling with another hybrid cub, just like you. Also there is an hybrid adolescent to make sure nothing can get to you."

"Your cubs?" Korrin was distracted momentarily by the thought that Siti had little cubs in there, not food. "H-hello Siti's cubs. It'll be nice to meet you if you come soon." He was still thinking that he would find Bakko (yeah I've been spelling it wrong the whole time >_>; ) soon and be gone from Siti.

"Rest in your den?" The little serval blinked trustingly up at the lioness he had feared only moments before. He knew now she was a good lion. Being around others made him not so sure, but she said they were like him, and that might be good. "I'll be safe there?" If he would be safe, he decided, he would go.

Siti smiled at Korrin's question and simply nodded. She thought he was too cute and stated, "I think it would be nice if the met you too." She was glad she would be able to looks after Korrim while they looked for his brother, but she wondered if the two of they would be okay once they were reunited. Siti was none to keen on leaving cubs to fend for themselves, but she knew there was nothing she could do about it if they insisted on it.

"Yes, rest in my den," she answered. "You will be completely safe there, Jishin and Udo, would not hurt you and I will bring food back for everyone, like I do most mornings."

She looked toward the direction of the den, which was not to far off, "If you like to come, it is not to far. You can walk or if you'd like I can carry you."

"Jishin and Udo." Korrin tried the names out. They weren't bad. Not nice like Bakko or Siti, but okay, he decided. He could guess they weren't Siti's cubs, and besides, she'd said so. He was at once nervous and excited. Being alone was bad, he'd always hated being alone, and she did say they were young. And he could always run away if he had to.

"I'll go to the den." He conceded, climbing to his feet. "I can walk!" He proclaimed, gaining a little confidence. "You shouldn't carry me and your own cubs, I think." He rubbed up against his new friend before taking a tentative step. "You'll come with me though, and...stay until I feel okay there?"

"Great then," said Siti getting to her feet after Korrin rubbed against her. "Lets go and don't worry. I will be with you until you are comfortable."

Siti began to move forward toward the den, keeping a slow steady pace, not wanting to lose Korrin. She looked to the cub and smiled at him, another addition to their travels, another needed to find something. Jishin, a teacher for manner, Udo a travel companion, and now Korrin who wanted to find his brother.

Siti looked forward again and could see the den, which was several trees that had wound around each other. She could not see Jishin and Udo, as they were most likely tucked safely into the small tree trunk cave.

"We are almost there, it is just up ahead."
