This is kind of a knockoff from Aeren's GRRRR thread. ^^; I figured that whilst there are times that we can be annoyed at ourselves, there are also times when we can grin with smugness at a good action or if the day's been a successful one. 3nodding whee
Eg: Today I've eaten the bare minimum; piece of toast and a cup of tea for brekkie, small sandwich with banana curd and water for lunch (banana curd rocks), and I'm gonna be having fresh fish for dinner. Hopefully not raw. And there is no sweet stuff in the house for myself to go crazy and binge on. xd

You gotta take small steps first!
and gals, I did today. I kept my first day of my food log for 2005. I almost didn't catch all of the food that went in my mouth because I just wasn't accostomed to doing it. But a food log is one of the most important things you can do. Although my food choices for today wern't the most to be bragging about, you... just gotta take those small steps first! wink

Lemon curd is a kind of spread-jam thingy, made with egg yolks. 3nodding
Today I had breakfast as usual (toast+ tea), no lunch, and a half portion of dinner. Only other drinks are water, or possibly another cup of tea. Didn't get a chance to work out, but was rushing up and down stairs a lot today, chasing after people I needed to speak to. ^^;

Yay! Today, I went back to school. And I went to the gym, did some crunches, and went on the tredmill for over 20 minutes. Afterwards, I stretched my lower body.
Tomorrow, I expect to be on a cardio machine (either the tredmill or the stair-stepper), and then doing my first round of weight training.
You gotta start light. 3nodding

Self-Dicipline isn't so easy a task, especially when the treat offered to you is one of your favs sweatdrop . About your dad... maybe a little understanding on his part could convince him that he's harming you when he's endorsing food you don't need to eat. Have you shared your weight loss goals with him? *high fives her back* xd

i think it is also a good thing FK because people are always going to offer you things, its up to you to make the decision to not accept them.
remember "nothing tastes as good as thin feels"
a motto that seems to help me from wanting to scarf down cake every day.
my yay for the day:
back at school, and have cleaned up my entire room instead of vegging about.

This is also a grr, but an overall yay. ^^; I was given fried noodles this morning by my mum. ._. Leftover. Fat-wise it's okay, because it's stir-fried and only in small quantity. However small quantity of the stuff leaves you feeling very hungry.
Buuut... I didn't eat anything else for breakfast- went to school hungry, came home starving. >_<; But at elast I survived the day. Mental note- do not let parents annoy. xd
Another grr but yay- why is it that as soon as I start a diet, more peole offer me chocolate? stressed But in each case I (politely) declined. Except for one friend who taunted me. I wasn't quite as polite then. whee

i hear ya, i went over to the boys place last night, and of course they offered me cookies.. then asked me why i wasn't going to drink with them anymore. they harassed me forever. stu, my closest guy friend was like "EAT IT!!!" shoving cookies at me. and then pat, another guy was like "your cute fat, don't change" not very supportive for a diet, but the point of all this is, yup, we can resist people.. yay.
we have each other for support.
my yay for the day is i had a very nutritious dinner. i had a thin slice of turkey, some cottage cheese and yogurt, an apple, and a bowl of cereal... it was delicious. mmmm....
