 The sun seemed unusually hot on a day like today. Gethin yawned as he continued to trot along his way, golden eyes surveying his territory. His cape rustled and fluttered gently as he walked, the vibrant shade of red sticking out against the terrain's backdrop. He was currently full on his last meal, having just finished his hunt. Trotting to the shade of one of the withering trees, he sat under the cool shade of it's leaves. His territory was perfectly in the middle for him; not too big yet not too small. But for one wolf? Oh, he could get lost in his own thoughts, sometimes.

 Kega, being unable to see by the blind of her eyes smelt the ground following the hot dirt. She wandered straight into the territory of Gethin in blind view. She did not know were she was but she thought she could smell 1 wolf. She ignored it though to her weak senses thought it had been a while since te wolf had been there. Soon she crindged back to the smell of blood.

Gethin's amber eyes surveyed around, until catching sight of something moving. He hauled himself up onto his paws, sniffing curiously at the air. Another wolf, though she was younger, and his defenses dropped a little. The dark wolf moved closer, keeping a wary eye on the adolescent white and red wolf yet still keeping a reasonable distance. "Pardon me, but may I ask; who are you?" Was that a blind over her eyes?

Kega's head bolted up. A pitiful growl that was supposed to be deep escaped her throat as she looked around. She then said calming a bit as she smelt the air. " WHo may be asking, I'm Kega..." Her voice was crackly and frightened.

Gethin watched, standing still as his tail flicked against the ground. "My name is Gethin," He paused, as if considering something. "The Lord of Darkness, and alpha to this stretch of land." That self-proclaimed nickname seemed to be a part of his everyday introduction. His tone wasn't angered or bitter, but hinting with amusement and a tinge of curiousity. "Tell me, if you may, how is it you get around without your sight?"

" I don't..." She said. She looked down scuffing at the ground. Her fur brizzled in anger but she tried to hold it back as he did. " I wander... " She mumbled as she tried to hide her wings as well. So many things were different about her.

Gethin let his head fall to the side, observing this new wolf infront of him, the sudden drop in demeanor. "My appologies, Kega, if I asked something too personal." He replied sincerely, shifting to sit down. "What are you doing by yourself out here?" She was still young... Surely someone had to be looking over her?

" Wandering.. I have no were else to go..." She said. She looked at him but didn't look at him. She tried to ignore what he said about it being to personal. It was. She wasn't sure wether or not what to say so it just cherped out. " You reak of blood Gethin..."

"You have no one?" Gethin winced as the question slipped out, for he hadn't meant it to. The small comment made a small smile appear on his face, and he chuckled quietly. "I suppose I would, needing to feed on a regular basis.." Shaking his head, Gethin glanced back at Kega. "Would explain why most other wolves don't approach my territory."

" no one..." She repeated in a muffled tone. " And what do you mean by feeding?" She asked. " Why would it matter that much..." She then asked stupidly. She shook her head real quick now unsure of what he was. But now she understood he was an alpha of the land she stood on.

Gethin paused, debating which question to answer and how. "I... run with only myself." He had decided not to go into detail of his need to blood. Afterall, lest we run off someone else with that gruesome necessity in his life. "My pack, though I hold my territory well, includes only me. I am alone.." A small tone of what could be sadness edged in his voice, though he cleared his throat softly, and it was gone. "Lonliness does nothing good for the soul, afterall."

Kega shifted her position. Leaning on one leg then the other over and over again. She then said " Lonelyness can steal ones soul.." She mumbled. Soul and well being. That was her logic. She bent her head down and sighed.

Gethin's ears shot up, barely catching what she had said. He shifted to stand, lightly padding closer to her. "Is something troubling you, Kega?" He asked lightly, worriedly; stopping a shoter distance away from her.

" Why would something be brothering me?" She snapped. She did a well at hiding an remourse. She kept looking down scanning the inside of the bandages. Of course what she was was only in her head. " Nothings wrong... "

He didn't recoil at her sudden aggression, nor get angry in return. If anything, it made him more curious and.. mildly concerned. "Would you be so defensive if something truely was bothing you?" Gethin asked lightly, tail flicking against the ground lightly.
