
Coal-black, silky hair flowed gently in the soft breeze that had taken to dancing with the lone stallion who had found himself in a different world he did not recognize. Pitch-black eyes blinked slowly as he soaked in the sun's rays, from time to time trying to understand why he was here, what his purpose was... who he was.
"...Where am I?"
The whispered, raspy sound of his voice startled him slightly, though the only movement showed for this purpose was the slight flinch he had released. Slowly, his blood-red eyes observed his surroundings. He was in the middle of a forest clearing, unfamiliar as well. What had happened? A frown formed on his normally emotionless face as he tried to search through his blurred visions of memories.
The first memory that came to mind was his name--Uchiha Itachi. Just knowing his name was like knowing the key to breaking the wall holding in a dam to create flood... of memories. A headache began to form as well as beads of sweat, so harsh was this whirlpool of memories.
"Itachi. I found you, finally."
Was that... who was that? He looked familiar. In fact, Itachi felt like this person who he saw in his memories was like... family. Someone he cared deeply for, this he knew, deep within the recesses of his heart... someone who he had made to hate him so thoroughly, that... they... wanted... to...
"Die, Itachi! I have waited for this day!"
"Sasuke."
His little brother. Which brought on the thoughts of Naruto, the nine-tailed demon carrier...
"Naruto."
The blonde was the key to all his answers. Perhaps he was here, in this strange world. He need not worry about his little brother; he doubted that Sasuke would be here... but then again, if Naruto was here, then so would his brother...
