Bio: She attends a private highschool and is a little overwhelmed by her school work. Oneday she comes across a sign talking about this virtual game and is curios so on a whim she signs up. She does not have to worry about parental consent since she lives alone.

Personality: Outgoing and charismatic, Shin tends to get people's attention. He's also a natural-born leader and likes to have things organized, but can become a control freak at times. Like most teenagers, Shin can have mood swings that leave him depressed and without energy.
Appearance:
Bio: A high school student who's just looking to get away from the "storm and stress", Shin starts neglecting his work in favor of video games. Seeing them as an escape into a different world, Shin begins to hole himself up in his room and dedicate more and more of his time to his games. While looking for a new series to get hooked on, Shin hears of a well-hyped game offering free beta testing. As he jumped at the opportunity, he never imagined this game would take much more of his life away than any other....

Personality - Kayne is generally a nice person, if not a little odd. One can often find him totally engrossed with an incredibly difficult math or logic problem or his computer screen, taking little tolerance to interruption. A math and computer whiz, he becomes incredibly passionate about his likes, which include any piece of technology and RPGs. When not dedicated to a giant book of brainteasers, he is a straight-A student with a light-hearted smile and a friendly demeanour. However, he tends to be rather blunt about the things he says, though he usually doesn't mean any offense. He is a calculating, clever youth, relying on logic and his intellect to solve any problems that are thrown his way. Often times, his wit and quick-thinking that get him out of tight situations.

Bio - Kayne was brought up learning. His parents always had brought him up under a strict time-management discipline, which paid off wonderfully when he entered high-school. He developed a photographic memory, and due to this was an outstanding straight-A+ student, and could easily schedule in a part-time job as well as hours of free time. As he got bored, Kayne first indulged in multiple massive-multiplayer online role-playing games, then became a "cracker" - a hacker who simply broke into systems but did nothing else. One day he was on his usual cracking when he stumbled upon the website of a new revolutionary MMO. Intrigued by the prospect of a new game to explore, he eagerly signed up for the beta testing. Little did Kayne know that it would change his life forever . . .

Personality- Hyper and happy, always ready to go off. She likes activity, climbing trees and running around aimlessly through open spaces under the sky.

As well as a fox's agility, speed, claws and teeth, and an elven warrior's training. Knowledge of all animalistic language, and little yet growing control over the Earth element.

Appearance-

Short Bio- Raised in a mountain pack with other fox halfbreeds, she is known for loyalty. For seventeen years in human time she had always been opressed and restrained, unallowed to use her special powers. Only her mother let her develop her gift, in secret and unknown to the alpha male. She lived her life as happily as she could, pulling pranks with her rebel freinds. One day she was caught practicing her abilities in a secret grove and was cut off from her pack, and so set out as a drifter.

APPARENT AGE: mid twenties
APPARENT GENDER: male
PERSONALITY: Loyal to his kingdom. Likes stylish clothing that has a hood. When in battle, Kynum is less interested in living through the ordeal than to make it look freakin' awesome to any bystanders. Some may even call him bubbly in a masculine way.
SKILLS/POWERS: Kynum believes that there is no weapon more stylish than a sword. Its dance is almost hypnotic to him. This is why he has trained with all manner of blades so that he may dance with all of them . Because of his extensive contact with swords Kynum has developed the ability to manipulate them without physical contact (more on that if you wish to ask)
APPEARANCE: (right now) A full body robe that resembles the garb of Altair from the game "Assassin's Creed". The only differences are that Kynum has all leather fingerless gauntlets (more like arm wrappings), A red silk sash instead of a large belt, and no quiver of arrows/bolts.
SHORT BIO: Kynum has been in the service of his kingdom (which shall not be named yet) since he was 12. He likes swords...a lot and cries when they're taken away from him. He has been a ranger for almost all of his career, so he knows a bit about the forest

Oh please use an occ format when you are not in character... I suppose I should put that in the rules... I might when I stop being lazy.... Thank you heart ))

Kira woke up and looked around herself startled. Where was she? she remembered walking into a place to try out a new game everything after that was blank.

She went through the normal opacities of the mind. Where am I? Am I dreaming? Does it hurt when I pinch myself? ...owww....? How did I get here? I took her a while to come to the conclusion that she was in the game. But how had she wound up inside of the game? It was supposed to be virtual.... not real...

She sighed and tried to will herself out of it. After a moment she realised that that was not working. She decided to wander about and try to figure out the objective of the game. Un like a real game she did not have health or energy meters there was nothing arouns to suggest that this was not real.

There were foot prints of all sorts in the sand around her. She wondered what sort of creatures lived here? She did not recognise most of the tracks.....

The noises ftom the darkforest were strangely unnerving. Finally she decided to just walk along the beach and see if she could find anyone else.

Shin awoke slowly, as one does from being knocked out. His right arm was outstretched, and his left was curled under his body. Grasping his right hand, he felt sand. Finally opening his eyes and pushing himself to his feet, Shin saw that he was surrounded by sand.
'Where...am I?' He thought to himself. Shin looked down; he was wearing clothes he could be clad in on any regular day. 'That game started and...that's all I remember.' Shin shook his head and rubbed his temples. He could hear waves to his back, so he had guessed he was on a beach somewhere. Looking around again, shin could see footprints all around him. Dozens of footprints, of all shapes and sizes. But, even though the footprints were new enough to not have gotten washed away, he couldn't see their owners anywhere.
"Hello?" He called out. "Is anyone out there?" He was shouting now. Randomly picking a direction, Shin began to walk, looking for anyone or anything that could explain his situation.

((I'm pretty sure Threadmistress Faerie would love for you to join . . . I mean, 3 out of 13 beta testers isn't exactly an impressive number.))

The first thing that came to him was the sound of waves. Groaning, Kayne sat up, rubbing his head. What had happened? The last thing he could recall was beginning the beta-testing . . .

Since when was I outside?

As if he'd been given an electric shock, the boy shot up, stumbling as his head swam. Wildly he looked around.

A beach? We were nowhere near one . . . He shook his head vigourously, fighting down the wave of panic. No. There has to be a reason for this. Think it through, Kayne. You went in for the beta testing for the new game. And then . . .

And then what? No matter how he wracked his brain, the piece of his memory was absent. Brilliant. Amnesia. The teenager blew a long breath out through his nose. Well, on the bright side, I remember everything before. So somehow, I went from facility to beach. Hypotheses . . . ?

Kayne's grey eyes carefully scoured his surroundings. The sand was littered with the footprints of creatuers he'd never seen before. Some looked canine, others feline, some avian, some reptilic. And yet, though they seemed so familiar, they were . . . alien. Specimen of similar archetypes to Earth species . . . sudden appearance into unknown location . . . so, am I in the game? That would mean the others should be around here as well.

He circumspected the area once more. The beach he stood upon bordered a deep forest, where the faceless cries and wails of unseen beasts emanated. Something told him to stay away . . . for the time being, at least. Priority one, locate the other beta testers. Priority two, discuss and plan methods to get through this . . . and get home. A doofy grin spread across his face. Ah, the classic MMOs . . . I love thee.

Taking a reading on the sun, he struck out west, hoping to hear or see the other beta testers.

Shin was rendered momentarily speechless. His mind, which had been speculating possibilities of his situation, needed a moment to process this new girl and her question. Once he comprehended what she had asked of him, he was again floored by how...beautiful she was. Quickly struggling to regain his composure, he shakily replied.
"That's exactly what happened. I stepped into the terminal and the next thing in my memory is this beach." Shin managed to get out, finding his mouth difficult to use. "And my name is Shin Regulus." He held out his right hand; luckily he had trained himself to give a confident handshake even when he was nervous or surprised.
