Maziel was an eager beaver as usual, his forest classroom now loooking proper. He was to meet with Duncan again. Something's been nagging at him that it was time for another meet, despite the short period of time between the two. He yawned, curled up on his usual tree stump. He was excited to see if his first student had gotten any better.
"Nothing to do but wait...again..."

It had taken time for the letter and tooth to get to where Duncan was, from his home to his father and to him through a lot of passing off. When he finally got a hold of the letter and tooth it was then a bit of a hassle to get from the place he was 'staying' to the classroom. In fact it wasn't even him that came into the classroom first, instead there was a short and pretty but scarred up angel who stood at the door.

"Maziel? I need a moment of your time please." Almas called out to the teacher, his short cut wings fluttering behind him.

"Almas?" Maziel replied curiously. His brother was quick to approach from the shadows in dragon form, the size of about a large horse and snarling dangerously at Almas. His brother still didn't trust the other staff here.

Maziel was quick to pet the dragon contently, then walked off to approach Almas. "Something the matter? I'm supposed to be visiting Duncan today. Has something gone wrong?" He asked with an honest worry in his voice.

The fallen turned his good eye to look toward the large dragon that came from the shadows but didn't show any fear, he'd run across a lot worse then a dragon that was tamed by Maziel's hand. He turned from looking at the dragon to looking at the teacher and gave him a gentle smile, "The matter... so to speak." He said, glancing over his shoulder and seemed to be considering his words.

"Well you see... your student, Duncan had a contract with our boss. One that he has recently broken for reasons unknown to me and... as such there were consequences. We thought it best to warn you ahead of time."

The dragon snarled loudly, hissing. His tongue poked in and out, and his fangs were bared. He snarled some more, before going back to the shadows of some tree where it came from. Everything that could be seen of him were his eyes, which quickly disappeared into the shadows.

"I am fine.If it had changed Duncan for the better then I will do my best to help whatever troubles he may have." Maziel smiled and hugged Almas. "Thanks for your concern. I'm not as weak as I seem to be, I can handle myself. Besides... I always have backup."

"For the better... maybe, he is whole again if nothing else but is having to deal with a lot. I will tell him he can come in then." He murmured, then gave a jump of surprise his eyes going rather wide as Maziel hugged him. He seemed rather unsure how to react to the affectionate gesture, his cheeks pinkening a little.

"I... umm... well I didn't want to see anyone hurt." He muttered quietly then looked in the direction that the dragon had gone in and nodded. He drew back and gave Maziel a smile, "I will go and get your student then if you are ready for him."

Maziel smiled and shook his head. "You need not worry about me. " He chuckled. "I'm happy to help Duncan with whatever problems he may have." He chuckled and walked back to his tree trunk, happy to wait. He was just glad Duncan didn't go get hurt or kill someone. He yawned and sat onto the fake stump, a few animals already appearing in his forest.

The dragon along the shadows narrowed its eyes and waited for this
'Duncan' to come in.

The fallen went out into the hall, talking quietly with the one out there before the half breed boy came into the room. Duncan looked a little different, his form seeming stronger somehow but his eye showed far less calm now then the last time that he had come by to see Maziel. He looked over at the calm teacher and blinked a couple times, eyes falling to look at the ground instead of directly at the teacher.

"Ahhh... Hello." He murmured, shifting a little where he stood.

The young man had heavy metal bands around his wrists, ankles, and throat that had metal rings on them that whispered to the teacher that he'd been chained up before coming to the class. For the moment though he seemed in control of himself if a bit uncomfortable.

Maziel seemed rather worried that Duncan was all chained up. He approached the other and took his hand, leading him to their little stump. "Wow. What happened? " His hand brushed one of the arms. It seems he really had become whole... but being chained up was never pleasant despite the reasons for it. Hopefully he'd have them off soon, even if he'd never truly recover from anger.

He sat down, motioning his friend to sit by him as he had always done.

Duncan followed along after him, sitting down on the stump next to the teacher and was quiet for a long moment, fiddling with one of his shackles, "I am... me." He murmured, "I listened to what you said... and got it back."

He lifted his gaze to look up at the teacher and gave him a hesitant look as he was a bit unsure of what he should tell him, didn't want the kind teacher to look down on him for everything that had happened, "It... got lost, did bad things and... so did I." He curled his hands into fists, nails biting into his hands as memories he didn't want to think on started to surface in his mind.

Maziel thought about it, then nodded in an understanding manner."I understand perfectly, my friend. However, look on the bright side. You're whole again. The part of you that got lost will never get lose and do anything seriously horrible ever again, unless you let it.As for you doing bad things... everyone has done things they regret Duncan." He murmured, giving his student a quick hug. "Though I hope the chains come off soon. I really don't like them. Surely they're not very comfortable." He smiled and touched one of the chains delicately.

"Well, since you have your self back, it should be easier for you to perform your magic. How about you give it a go for the river again? You'd be surprised how much punt up anger it can take for the user." He chuckled. Maybe this would help Duncan, maybe not. However he was a teacher, it was his job.

Duncan leaned forward a moment, against the teacher as the older man hugged him accepting the hug before he drew back away from him, "Yes... maybe. It helped me before when I first woke up." He said, shaking his wrists to rattle the shackles he was wearing.

The young man gave a bit of a smile, nodding his head, "Yeah... I guess I should be a bit better at it now that I have everything back as it should be." He rose to his feet and stretched out before he lifted a hand and started to gather his power into his hand... the teacher was right, it was much greater then before. He wasn't a fan of his darker emotions but if they could be controlled as Maziel suggested, if he could have an outlet for the power he felt he could do better by it.

Maziel smiled as his student seemed somewhat lightened of a weight not from the chains. When the energy in Duncan's arm was released, the river dried up and replaced itself. He smiled. "Well done!" He pat the other on the back. "Well then, did you feel anything as you released it? something different? Drained in any way? That was pretty big you did back there." He spoke almost worriedly. Sometimes, his teacher told him that people who first get their powers in true may overdo it and hurt themselves.

Duncan looked down at his hands before he shook his head, "No." He said, looking over at his teacher, "I feel a lot better then I have for a while." He murmured and lifted a hand up to push his hair back and tucked it behind his ear.

He turned to look toward the river that had refilled itself. He felt as though his strength was boundless at least when it came to what his anger was able to accomplish, "Its... different somehow. I have it back but I can still... think." He wasn't feeling overwhelmed yet, able to think, able to speak, even if he could feel it shifting around inside of him, in the back of his mind wanting to rise to the surface... he was keeping it tightly under control though not wanting to allow it to hurt anything else.

So long as he was careful things might remain on a good and steady path.

Maziel smiled gently and pat Duncan on the shoulder. "That's wonderful. You don't look like you're going to tire out anytime soon as well. Practice to your heart's content, though I warn you if you burn some trees in here the person I told you about will not be happy. Speaking of which, would you like to meet him? Maybe seeing him would help you with your anger problem. He can give tips. I was never once an angry person, so I cannot give much advice." He smiled and fell in the grass contently, relaxed despite having such a deadly person near him, and an even deadlier one in the shadows.
