Gekko Go sat at the top of her knoll, pawing lightly at the grass. She had been there for most of the morning after finishing her take-off practice. It had been rather lonely lately now that Abrar didn't stop in as much, not that she should be complaining. He was probably just busy and would come by any moment now. Stretching her paws out in front of her, she let out a large yawn before settling her head down on her outstretched legs. "It's so....boring." She had so much to tell him. Well, not really, but she did need to tell him about Bowser. The lion who had promised to turn her back into a plane and bring her to her former glory. It was her dream to fly again. "I'm sure he'll be so happy for me." The lioness muttered softly to herself before glancing around at her orange-tinted world. Yeah, boring.

Abrar sighed and strolled quickly across the desert nearing the planes he had once visited so often. when he reached the place where the sand because sparce the the weeds turned to grass, he saw his favorite hill, and his favorite lioness atop it.
The gods who had been with him quickly hid themselves from his view, knowing his mind was focused on finally coming back to see her after so long...

Gekko Go sighed, watching the grass sway and tremble before her as she just waited for someone to come along. Meh. She was about to give up and head back to her den for the rest of the day when something appeared in the edge of her vision. A lion. He was far away, but she would tell who it was. "Abrar! You-You get over here right!" She exclaimed as she stumbled onto her feet, her vibrant glowing feathers waving through the air, beckoning him to her.

Abrar heard her voice, and broke into a full-on sprint, his small form moving closer to her and speeding up as there was less and less sand among the grass. When he finally reached her, he was breathing heavily and looked about ready to collapse, but was grinning wildly at her, "I'm- I'm sorry," he wheezed, "I'm sorry I was gone for so long..."

Gekko Go watched him with quivering excitement, and when he finally reached she could barely stop herself from pouncing on him right then and there. She was so happy! She had been right, he did come back! "You don't need to be sorry, silly." She mused, lifting a paw to push him over onto his side. He sure was out of breath from that run, and she wasted no time in curling up at his side. "I've missed you. I really have."

Abrar fell down without any effort on his part, and nuzzled Gekko and se curled up into him. They were about the same size, considering how small he was, so to any on-lookers this had ot have looked strange... "Of course I'm sorry," he said after he finally caught his breath. "I just stopped showing up... It was rude... How's the flying been going?"

Gekko Go just laughed, and pawed at his mane. It never really occured to her that he was infact around the same size as her, but it didn't really matter to her either. Moving a paw up to her face, she lifted her goggles off her eyes so she could see him as he was suppose to be seen. Not in orange-tint. "Fine, but I forgive you." She paused for a second before replying to his question,"The usual....suckiness, sadly. More crash landings than successful landings, you know."

Abrar grinned, "I'm sure it's gone better than you say - you're too hard on yourself. And besides, if you didn't fail, success would be much less rewarding!" He caught a God out of the corner of his eye, but it was gone so quickly that he didn't have a chance to catch who it was. This made him wonder if it was well or ill boding in the future, but quickly pushed the thought aside - it obviously wasn't too important.

Gekko Go just shook her head, not willing to accept the fact that she had done poorly lately in her flights. Though the second part was true, she loved the rush of feeling she got whenever she did good, but it had been a while since she had felt that way. Too bad. "Right, right. I know, but I have done poorly lately! I really haven't done much else since that last time I saw you, except a few things once in a while. How about you? What have you being doing?" She blinked a few times, nipping at his chin.

"Me?" He shrugged and pulled at her ear, "Not much. I got lost in some ruins a bit, but got out eventually, with a bit of... help." what had he been doing that prevented him from coming? He honestly couldn't remember. "I guess I just got wrapped up in life... I don't really know what I've been doing. Exploring... Studying..."

Gekko Go nodded her head lightly as if in deep thought, before flashing Abrar a geninue smile."That sounds like you to me, so it seems like you've been into your adventure as usual while I was just here...being me. That about sums it up, but it's okay now since we're together?" She sounded a bit skeptical, but covered it up with the return of her smile. She still needed to tell him about meeting Bowser, that had been the highlight of her life lately.

Abrar grinned and nodded, "I suppose it is~!" Another God danced at the edge of his vision, but when he looked over to where he was the image, it was gone. "Life always continues as usual when ties are mended."

Gekko Go smiled, nuzzling into his mane. She barely noticed his moment of hesitation, but she did notice the flickering of his eyes."Something wrong?" It had been awhile since she had last seen him, but she did remember the gods that would talk to him every once in a while. It was something they had in commom. They were both a little weird.

Abrar raised his brows, "Hm? No... no, nothing's wrong." He shruged and laid his head back down - he could sense something was wrong, or at least... different. "The Gods are just playing tricks on me, I think..."

Gekko Go nodded her head slowly, letting his answer sink in. Yeah, he was probably just experiencing his normal god visits. They were an odd match, he was visited by gods and she thought she was a plane, but it all evened out right? "Oh, have they been good company lately? I'm guessing they're the ones you relied on for company during your adventures."
