What I've Got to Say.
A chilling thriller is all I have to say. From beginning until end, there is an eerie illusion formed when a reader dives into the book. The book itself is written in first person. The narator is, Victor "Torey" Adams. He is a student that goes to Steepleton High and in this book, he tells of how the disappearance of the class freak had changed his life forever.

This book really breaks down the social lives of people. Not just high school students, teenagers, or kids, but also adults. Christopher Creed was always seen as an annoying kid who went around school 'grinning'. He could piss the heck out of anyone! Since he was just a kid, other kids would beat up on him for being annoying. No one quite understood why he was so irritating that he could get on anyone's nerves.

Torey and his childhood friend, Ali McDermott, along with another boy who is considered a boon (Bo Richardson), discover the diary of Christopher Creed. Just how in the world did they retrieve it? You'll have to read to find out. They tangle themselves into trouble though, after being caught in front of the Creed's house. Ali tries to explain to Mrs. Creed, Chris' mother, that she had brought all this onto her children. An evil aurora surrounds Mrs. Creed, often suggesting that she might have been the one who killed Christopher Creed.

But then again, there is no body, no evidence, no blood, no nothing. Truths about social lives finally fall open like a book, but the bigger question remains.

Is Chris Creed really dead?

The book was very interesting and is reccommended to readers. Pick up a copy at your local library. Or if you have read it, let's start a discussion right here folks! What did you think of the characters? Did you expect the plot? How did you like the book? Or did you not like it at all?

In my own honest opinion, I would say that it is a good book to read for your past time. Especially with Halloween coming soon. A good spooky, chilling thriller isnt' such a bad idea.
