Duncan really wasn't feeling up to going home, not after the news he'd gotten from Mr Vampy or the task that had set out before him. He had wandered around a bit after he left the labs unsure of really where he should go. A part of him wanted to seek out Adriel but at the same time the boy was so... clingy and Duncan was far from feeling in the mood to snuggle. He wanted to... scream, kick something, throw things...

It was why he ended up at the arcade, there were plenty of games that encouraged physical activity that he was hoping would help him to calm down and think... he had a lot laid out before him that he had to do and it wouldn't help to go into the situation before him without planning it out first.

There was a lot of noise within the place, the sounds of all the different games going at once and his three eyes darted around looking for a game that called to him... he gave a bit of a smile, his first in a while as he walked forward to investigate each of them in turn.

Duncan turned his attention to Zephyr looking a little surprised as someone was approaching him and seeming rather friendly... and then introduced himself and his son. He looked up at him for a long moment then turned to looked at the bird that came to sit on him, "Ahhh... hello." He greeted the man and bird, "My name is Duncan."

He wondered what he should do about the bird, it was pecking at him and chirping at him and... it was odd... he didn't think he ever dealt with an animal first hand aside from the ones he ate between two pieces of bread.

It was on the tip of his tongue to snap at the guy that if his kid wanted to play with someone that Slythor could make his own friends... he was of half a mind to keep walking as he didn't know if he was up for company at the moment... but found himself looking over at the other kid. He gave a sighing sound then took a couple steps in his direction to see what he was playing.

Duncan did his best to ignore the bird's persistent pecking and looked over at Slythor, "Hi." He greeted him, noncommittally.

Duncan looked down at the gun for a long moment before turning to the game, lifting the toy weapon up to take a couple shots to 'kill' his opponents and he gave a bit of a sigh before muttering, "I doubt its really that easy." Under his breath before taking a couple more shots. The game wasn't helping his mood in the least, killing fake people on had his mind at the task that was assigned to him by Mr Vampy and it had his trio of eyes narrowing slightly.

He lowered the weapon to his side before looking at Slythor, "Want it back?" He asked, motioning at him with the gun, "Can't say I am really very good at this."

Duncan bristled a little, "Weird...? Me?" He asked of the other boy, "Have you looked in a mirror? Your no more normal then I am." He informed Slythor and crossed his arms over his chest... then gave a little sighing sound and seemed to be forcing his emotions back into check so that he could better socialize, "My name is Duncan."

Duncan's yellow eye turned to look up at the bird while the other two remained on Slythor, "Its... an interesting creature. I've never been so close to an animal before."

Duncan blinked a couple times, "Oh... sorry, I'm a little distracted... makes it hard to play." He explained following after Slythor wondering what other sorts of games there were to play. He looked at each one as they walked by them but left the picking of the game up to the one he was with, "Huh? Yes, coins." He patted his pocket.

He watched the bird as he flew around, his metal wings giving a little twitch and they gave a soft chiming sound as they did so. He'd never though of flying before now, didn't even know if his wings were the sort that could fly... watching the bird made him wonder.

Duncan watched the arrows that were moving on the DDR screen and then looked down at the dance pad and after a moment the workings of the game made sense to him, "Sure, can try this one." He said, digging some of the coins out of his pocket that he needed to feed to the machine.

The metal wing made the same chiming sound when the bird's beak tapped against it, sounding a bit like a wind chime in the wind. The wing gave a little twitch but didn't flap to hard not wanting to chase off the bird that was just being curious.
