Enter the land of Edar and prepare for a magical journey to save the world.
The land of Edar has lived in peace for thousands of years under the rule of the four great wizards, known as the Kinta, who control the four realms; Menal of the sky, Kemena of the land, Alu of water, and Naur of the underworld. Along with the four Mystic Gems, the Kinta have the power to manipulate all of nature. The Kinta have governed in cooperative harmony since the beginning of history, and Edar has flourished under their benevolence. But not all wizards are good. The dark lord Morheru has been plotting for centuries to over through the Kinta and take control of Edar for himself. He gave plenty of warnings, but never doubting the Kinta's power, the people of Edar never gave any heed until it was too late. Now the Kinta have been captured and imprisoned in secret prisons and the Mystic Gems have been stolen. Now, Vakha, the spirit in charge of helping to maintain the balance, Has summoned some of Edar's finest to try and find the Kinta and the Mystic Gems so that Morheru can be stopped before it's too late and the world is destroyed. * * * * * * * * * * * * #1: Story #2: Info and Rules #3: Characters #4: Character sheet and info

Info: Alright, some of the information will be given to the characters at the beginning of the guest by Vakha, but there's some stuff I'll tell you now. First, we will all be starting in the same place: an inn in the town of Doltal, so have your character there, or get them there really fast somehow.
Now, this is going to be a bit D&D style. If/when you get into a battle, you will need to roll to see how you do. Unless otherwise specified by me, I'll have you roll three 8 sided die, and your success will be determined by your average using this scale: 1- Total miss, minor self damage 2- Total miss 3- Glancing blow, no damage 4- Minor damage 5- Considerable damage 6- Severe damage 7- Fatal damage 8- Instant death Defense will be determined with the same scale, 1 being a total lack of defense, 8 being complete defense, minor damage to opponent.
Now, this will be explained to the characters by Vakha, but I'm going to get into different details here. In order to free the wizards and to regain the gems, you will need Templa, magic points. Each character will start with a certain amount of Templa determined by their race and any other factors I see fit. Characters will gain Templa by either freeing a wizard, capturing a gem, defeating a magical enemy, by answering questions/completing small side quests, or at my discretion. Freeing a wizard will earn the group 150 T, a stone will earn the group 75. Other points will be awarded as I see fit. I will keep a group total, which I will keep posted on the front page.
If you have any disagreements with my decision, please feel free to PM me saying so. If you make a good case, I will be more than willing to fix the situation. I will not, however, respond to whining or bitching (forgive the language). If you want me to be on your side, be intelligent and civil in your request.
Any other questions or conserns, please feel free to PM me about anything. I'll help the best I can.

Rules: 1: No Godmoding. I will be the only one aloud to do so, and only then in the most pressing of cases. 2: No grumbling about my actions. As I said, if you can give me a good case, I might change things, but since I am the game master, my final word is law. 3: Put Dells as the title of your PM so I know you read the rules. 4: Please be literate. 5: Please try and be civil, especially to your quest mates. I can understand with bad guys, but let's not get out of hand. 6: Put Duct Tape Boy somewhere in your PM body. 7: Let's try and keep this PG13. Gentle and cool one moment, dangerous as a hurricane the next. (see extras) She has a great disliking for humans though. Also, don't get her mad, because then she turns into a pit bull. (not literally) Bio/History: Huan was born a tame Inu, and so was destined to a life living with a "master". Unfortunately, though most Inus pick good, kind masters, Huan wasn't as lucky. At first, the human she bonded to was pretty kind to her, but as time went on, he became mean and cruel. He beat Huan viciously and treated her like a slave. Few Inus would ever dare go against their master, and Huan is no exception. As horribly as he treated her, she still stood by him. Then one day, Vakha showed up. She was how poorly Huan was being treated, and so took her away. For the past several years, Vakha has been Huan's master and Huan is much happier with her kind master. Appearance: Though she looks mostly human, she has the ears, tail, eyes, teeth and claws of a dog. The fur on her ears and tail is white, and the fine layer of fuzz on her skin is mostly white with a few dark markings. Her human hair is about the same coloration as the rest of her. (maybe will have picture eventually). Extras: There are two different kinds of Inu; wild and tame. Wild Inus aren't necessarily wild, but they have no connection to other races and instead form packs with their own kind. Tame Inus, on the other hand, have bound themselves to a member of a different species. Unless this bond is broken, the Inu becomes that person's life long companion and willing servant. After you send me a profile and I approve it, your character will be assigned starting health and Templa points. Health will start at the same base, then be increased/decreased due to strength, injuries, and so on. Templa will be based on race and powers, with humans probably starting with the least. But don't let that stop you from being one, there may be other benefits later.
There are many other taces that the party will come into contact with along their quest, like dwarves, fairies, merpeople and such. The main one will be played by me, as they will be the plot driver, but if you want to play one as well, feel free. If you're really good, I might let you take one of the leads, but please don't ask for it. If I give you a lead character, I'll PM you their profile and the part of the plot that you will need for them.

Other Stuff This is where I'm going to keep useful information, like plot updates every few pages, the group's Templa, and anything else I think might be useful. Also, I have created a map of Edar. At the moment it is completely crudtastic, and I don't think the quality will ever improve, at least not for a great while. However, the amount of info on it will. As of right now, you can kind of decide if you have a specific area you want your home town to be in. The dark brown mass toward the top is mountains, the light green mass towards the bottom is lowlands. The light brown below that is beachy type area. The two medium brown marks are large caves. The town mentioned by Vakha is the little pink dot with yellow righting to the left of it. Any questions, just ask. Thanks Map

Over the millenia, the Kinta had been known to sometimes take leaves or go into hiding without notice. But Vakha was sure this wasn't one of those times. Something just felt wrong. The entire world was slowly starting to fall out of balance.
Within a day of her first noticing the situation, Vakha had her confirmation in the form of a note from Morheru. It was rather long winded and more than a bit rude, but the basic gist was that he had captured the Kinta as well as the Mystic Jewels. He had imprisoned them and had no intentions of releasing them.
"Old fools." she thought to herself of the Kinta. "I told them over a century ago that Morheru was no good. But would they listen to me? Of course not! Well, too late for that now. I suppose I'll have to summon a questing party. I'll have them meet me in Doltal."
