It seemed like so long since he had seen any member of his family. He had headed out on his own, to find himself...and to follow within his father's foot steps. To protect this world from those creatures of the night that sought to destroy him and his family. His mother had already been claimed by their unholy hands and his brother he could not find.
He had started making a small shop within a average sized village. He was already to find out what was wrong and destroy those that had ruin more of his family. One by one if he must. They were going to go down!

While Dante was looking through a shop, Vergil was just entering the village from the south. His gray eyes skimmed the scene before him, his mouth set in a seemingly permanent frown. This didn't look much better than any other place he had been, but then again, monsters were monsters wherever they lived.
He looked up at the setting sun. It wouldn't be long before night fell and the creatures came out ... which meant that he would have just enough time to grab a quick bite to eat, if he could find somewhere that had a bite to offer.

Dante leaned the chair he was sitting in back. He looked up at the ceiling of the small school building attached to the small shop. Blades laying all over the floor as well as some dead creatures. He was eating a sandwich and though he was a surprise he was already very good with a blade as well as the small silver and onyx guns he used.
"Man don't any of you know how to keep a guy entertained?"

Walking down the deserted, dusty street, Vergil paused every now and then to sniff the air, trying to find a place where there might be some edible food.
So far, no luck.
Were there even any people in this village? Or was it a literal ghost town?
He heard something behind him, and his instincts made him jump to the side just in time to feel something swish past him, exactly where he had been the moment before. His gray eyes narrowed. Someone was trying to get him ... and he was already in a bad mood.
"What's the matter?" he asked in a taunting voice, turning around, one hand on the hilt of his sword. "Too afraid to attack me from where I can see you coming?"
The surprise had an attitude, but it hadn't yet gotten him into a scrape he couldn't get himself out of.

The surprise hybrid heard a voice outside and he stood up moving towards the door the large sub in his hand. He took a bit as he leaned against the door of the store and school.
It seems his slightly over brother had made it threw the attack. He smirked a bit, Well this could be interesting. He watched his brother fighting something. He waited until his brother was finished killing the attacking demon he smirked and tossed up the sandwich "you look like you could use a bite big brothe...or would you prefer a kiss from your dear little bro?"

Dispatching the creature was quick and easy work for the little Second, and though he was facing away from his brother when it was all said and done, he sensed his presence - and without even looking he caught the sandwich in his left hand.
"From you?" he grinned wickedly, his eyes glinting as he looked over his shoulder. "You know what I like."
He maintained his position, sword facing away from his brother, but his muscles tensed as he prepared for what was to come.

Dante nods, "Oh yeah I know what you like Brother...how ever I will let you have a few bites first." he rolled his eyes looking over the other hybrid. "You look very well for having been dead this whole time...I take it you ran in time."
He watched the blue clocked brother, "oh don't worry I have been eating from it and I would hate to see it go to waste...so if your not going to eat it then let your little bro finish it off."

Unfortunately for Dante, Vergil was very hungry indeed, and having been given the sandwich, there was no way he was going to give it back to his little brother.
"Dead?" he repeated, taking his first bite. "You're the one who was dead ... how did you even manage to survive? A pipsqueak like you?"
He allowed his sword arm to lower until the tip of his blade was resting on the ground, giving his arm a bit of a rest while he finished off the sandwich.

Dante shruged, "We runts like to stick around...like that itch you can't scratch or that babe that just wont take a hint." he laughed and started to slowly walk around his brother, "I see your doing welling for yourself...and slicking your hair back? You always did think you were better than me..." he smirked. "What ever...so what bright you back into society?" He looked over his brother again, "It can't be for the babes....you have not charm to them I am sure..."

Vergil half grinned at his brother. "You're the itch all right," he agreed, "though I guess that makes me one as well."
He sheathed his sword and faced his brother head on, turning so that he was always facing him. "As for this place," he added, ignoring the comment about his hair, "you call this society?" He laughed mirthlessly. "It's a ghost town, man, there's no one here but monsters. Present company included."
Since technically they weren't exactly natural either.

Dante laughed, "Well it wasn't at first...but now with most the monsters gone yeah...it's a ghost town for now. No action of fun. Borning a dirt." he shrugged and flipped his silver gun around his fingers and hand. "And I could be enjoying what was left in the shop but here I am having to entertain you....doesn't seem fair does it?"

Vergil smirked. "Not fair at all, little bro," he agreed. "Why don't you sit here a while and I'll go enjoy the shop for you? I'll be sure to bring you a sandwich."
With his thumb he flicked his sword partially out of its sheath towards Dante's shoulder, hoping to knock his brother off his balance - and the moment there was impact he was off and running, looking for the shop where the food was.

Dante grunted as the sword hilt landed against his shoulder. He slid back a bit and then he growled and slide his legs back and ran after his bother.
He smirked and slide along the ground shooting up to knock the store sign down so it would fall atop Vergil if he did not jump back. "Those sandwiches are mine!"

Vergil's senses gave him ample warning and he jumped backwards just in time to keep from being hit by the sign - but it cost him valuable seconds, and his eyes narrowed as he ran forward once again.
"Think again, brother," he laughed evilly as he picked up his pace, making himself as small as possible to prevent as much friction as he could. He unsheathed his sword and just when he was close enough to his brother he stabbed it through the tails of Dante's coat, pinning it to the ground. Leaving both sword and brother behind, he darted ahead into the shop.
