I have a feeling it might be a tad darker and more mergy-er than Meteora, and mix the different genres even better than before. If HT and Meteora are anything to go off of, they'll probably have a track for Joe on there too. I'm getting all jumpy, 2006 is drawing nearer ^^:

I'm getting all jumpy, 2006 is drawing nearer ^^: i have no idea but i've had a few people come up to me and say oh linkin park ..its a shame they're gonna break up after the album and then i yell at them and i feel better cuz i doubt they will and i wont believe anything till i see it on their website xd 3nodding

Mike's been a bit scaring me with his solo stuff but they're a strong band... they're NOT gonna break up... Mike's stuff is just to show that he's not just Linkin Park... he's also Mike Shinoda... that means they're not gonna break up... and their new album will be AWESOME!

i suspect that it will give those of us that hunger for the greatness that we once thrived for to be sufficed. possibly it might be more than some of us can handle!

Darker? maybe, but I'm sure they will try new things. LP has always had a nice mix of everything they want in their music, and I'm sure they will bring it to a new level with their new album. Also, Mike's solo album is expected to ahve its own feeling disconnected to LP, becouse its Mike's stuff, not all of theirs, and he is attempting to make it his own and not be 'Mike shinoda, from Linkin Park.'

well we know that, he's Mike Shinoda from Fort Minor there. Plus, it's a rap/hip-hop album that he's making.. there's no elements of rock there.

exactly.
I think the new LP CD will be more of the same, but even better i guess, Lp has had years to perfect their craft and I'm sure we will see even better songs than before. About every song on any of their albums, I love and I'm sure this new album will be just like that.

My opinion.
They'll probably try some new things, but darker? I don't have a clue, but I do know that it's gonna rock like all of their other songs.
On the breakup note, I'm pretty certain that they won't breakup, but it'd be cool if they released stuff more often, but I guess that the good things in life take time.
