Yeah, people are just wrapped up in school. I know people who are going through midterms right now.
On top of it, Call of Duty 5 is coming out soon and that will help reignite the interest in Cal of Duty. And, then later, Call of Duty 6 is slated for a 2009 release.
Just a slow patch.
Hello, Meg. My name's Ryan.

Oh yeah, forgot about school. I finished school so it mustve slip my mind that kids are busy with real life. XD
Ah jeez a new one is coming out? I just got COD4 like 2 weeks ago. Im so far behind on these games. Always wanted them, but never actually bought one till now. Do you know whether its coming out in a few weeks or a few months?

Call of Duty 5: World at War, which is the series' return to World War II comes out November 11th, 2008 I believe. It's being developed by Treyarch, who did Call of Duty 3 and Call of Duty: Big Red One.
The guys behind most other Call of Duty games and 4, Infinity Ward, is working on Call of Duty 6 which is simply slated for a 2009 release. Any detail beyond that hasn't really been revealed.

You probably won't miss out on much if you wait. You should enjoy Call of Duty 4 while you can.
I'm undecided as to when I'll get CoD5, or if I'll rent it first. I'm still not terribly trusting of Treyarch's COD work.
