A full moon loomed overhead, the bright white orb just glowed with an ominous like nothing else. The light reflected off of the babbling river that Angel had found on his scout though the Kawani land. Life was still needing to get use to, like Buffy being back in his life, but there was some stuff still in need of discussion. He still wasn't a fan of large groups, others just were...well others. The brown eyes looked through the night, the dark was great, for any other creature not accustomed to the night life or equiped with the heightened senses of certian breeds, aka being a vampire. The black duster flapped in the wind that rushed through the somewhat clearing and rustled the nearby tree tops. "A calm beautiful night," Angel found himself murmuring outloud just listening to the sounds of the night life. He didn't need the river for thirst quenching, no something thicker, smoother and warm was much more appealing, especially when he killed. But there just was some things he couldn't bring himself to kill anymore, and that was other soquilis, minus the Kalona.

The full moon hanging in the night sky cast it's silver glow upon the world lighting up patches of grass and tree tops. It was with the fall of night that Louis had left the woods where he had been hiding from the deadly light of the sun.
New to the land Louis was determined to see everything which he could and learn the land well, he just hoped he wouldn't run into Lestat. The only reason he even thought Lestat would be here was due to his poor luck when it came to Lestat and thinking he was dead or no where near him, and unable to find him.
Eerie green eyes pierced through the darkness a few times reflecting the moons light and seeming to glow like a cats would. Dark hooves barley made a sound as he walked, though his clothing did rustle as he moved. The night he would admit was quite lovely, the air was crisp and cool, autumn was upon the lands as leaves fell from tress colored in various shades of red and orange with golden tones thrown in for shine and highlight.
It was while walking that Louis heard what he knew was water, a river or stream. A moment later and he was making his way toward the sounds of water. Green eyes that normally seemed a lime sort of green color gleamed and glowed like a cats when he stepped out of the trees cover and into the open area. A branch snapped under a front hoof as he spied the back of another Soquili not far off from himself, a stallion he knew.

The sounds of the night was all around him, but slowly, Angel recognized the sounds of crickets silencing themselves as something larger passed by behind him. The silence grew closer with a smooth stride. The peach ears flickered back to the sound, Angel was bold, even for a vampire in unfamilar lands standing unmoving in the small clearing.
The deep chocolate eyes shifted to the corners of their optical orifices at the sound of a stick snapping under hoof. Eyes narrowed and Angel looked over his shoulder towards the one that had came up behind him. He didn't owe the land, or the territory, so he wasn't going to get all territorial. But he knew a vampire when he saw another and, well this was different frame from the vampires he had been sired by and lived with.
What a different kind, he observed, looking the other's handsome features over. Angel was very happy with Buffy, mind you, but he was comfortable enough with his long established sexuality to recognize others. Besides wasn't that the hole appeal for them? Being seducer of their prey, sending them in a trance like state so they could drain them? Yeah, that was the game, but his alternate ego loved the game more then anything.
The brown eyes swept over the old styled clothing, and then up to the cat-like green orbs. "Eighteenth Century?" He questioned in a bleak tone. Recognizing the style as the one in his natural, pre-vampire, years.

He too could pick out another vampire with ease so knew the stallion ahead of him to be the same as himself. The clothing though he couldn't tell due to the coat, though he supposed such didn't matter.
The silencing of some of the nights sounds hadn't bothered Louis in the least as he had long become accustomed to the quieting night creatures when he would pass them by. Green eyes kept themselves focused calmly on the vampire infront of him as he made his way toward him calmly, there was nothing for him to worry about, he was more then capable of handling himself. This one had short hair and brown eyes he seemed different to him not like other vampires he had seen in the past. This one was certainly not like his sire.
Louis was of the same mind when it came to sexuality as this other vampire was, not that he knew it. He was accepting of his sexuality and appreciation of those of either gender. It was simply how a vampire was as far as he was aware.
"Indeed." He answered in a lightly accented voice, he had over time lost the accent he had once had which pointed him out to be Creole. Green eyes swept over the other vampire taking in the darker skin tone, which was most interesting for a vampire to posess, and the dark eyes the short hair then and lastly the horn and clothing.
"Modern clothing." He stated, no need to question on the clothing as it was obvious the clothing was modern, unlike his own.

The sounds of the night was a melody of sorts to the ears of the duster wearing stallion. He was aware of the soft steps of other vampires and the soft sounds that could escape any other creatures in the night songs, or even in the chaos of the day.
Muscle stayed relaxed, there was no alarming body languages or shifts in the other, that this stallion always looked for in others; especially the one that classified Angel and his 'grand'sire, to cause muscle to tense. No, this one was lax and well not like those feral and unsouled in his kind of vampire. Angel recalled hearing of different breeds, classes some liked to call it, but Angelus just figured it was rumors and ran rabid with Darla across country sides of Europe.
His brown eyes didn't reflect the light like the others, something he was taking note of as the moonlight just bounced back off the retinas. The thought to ask Spike, or even find the insane Drusilla, and ask if they had ever met one such as this vampire, or ask the slayer if she had seen this stallion.
The other spoke and the light accent tickled a memory, but not heavy enough for him to truly place it's orgin. Angel had lost his Irish accent several decades ago.
"Staying up with trends, I guess one could say," something his sire and him had done through out their slaughters. 'Blending into the herd' she would laugh.

The sounds of the night, the song the sung, was a melody he had listened to play out for so long he couldn't help but find peace in it and come to appreciate the sounds of crickets and other night creatures adding the to symphony of the night.
Watching the other vampire as he came to stand at his side his green eyes seemed to have dimmed to a solid normal color but the shade of green was still unique. Calm as he stood there he turned his attention to the other vampire as he stood there next to him.
"I see, tell me then how old are you?" He was sure they were close to his own age he could feel it, it was something he had come to feel, the age of others like himself. While the one at his side he was sure was close to his age he did indeed keep with the trends unlike himself.
He couldn't say for sure just why he didn't keep to the trends but he supposed it was a simple dislike for the styles, he didn't give it much thought though so let the idle wondering slip from his mind as if it were never thought or pondered.
He knew he was different from the other thought just by looking at him he knew this fact. The color of the others skin alone showed him that they were different and he was sure Lestat and Akasha weren't here, he was sure no others like himself were here and this other vampire would be clueless about him, like everyone else would be.
((Had to add more.))

((That's fine))
The moon dimmed as a cloud rolled in front of is in the sky, momentarly, then lit up again with the obstruction moving away. Scents from the night flowers and sleeping day flowers danced in the night symphony, adding to its intoxication. However nothing was any different then the faint smell of death that came off of both vampires.
Just as the moon above, he could see where the luminescent in the other's green eyes calmed, but stayed unique all together.
"Two hundred eight-one, born in Ireland." He stated, assuming the other would ask at some point, "though you wouldn't be able to tell with my learned American accent. Where do you hail from though? Your faint accent; I'm positive I've heard it, but of course the stronger lathering."
It was bothering him, Angel was an observer by nature. Once you observed another it was easy to figure out how to take them down at the knees, or just send them into a complete mental break. But this was none of his plans for the other vampire; no, just, it would seem, a casual conversation. Something that would be good, possibly, for the both of them.
The brown eyes looked forward, "You would seem to be different from those I aged with and sired in the past." He added.

Watching the cloud roll by lazily, while idly remembering how fast they really did move, it was hard to tell from here just how fast clouds did really move. The scent of death that hung about them like a cloak was one which he had long since become accustomed to and didn't become bothered by in the least.
"Two hundred forty-two, born in France." But his accent wasn't quite French but close, but still there was that off note to the accent he did still have even as slight as it was. "I lived outside of New Orleans." On a plantation but he had lived not far from New Orleans...a Creole accent.
"I'm sure I am different, just as you are different from the one who bore me into this darkness." His outlook was that he had been born into darkness he didn't always have a positive view on his status as a vampire and how could he?
He had not had it all together easy and his sire had been lacking in the form of a teacher someone to guide him and show him to teach him so he knew of the darkness he had been born into. He had also retained his grip on humanity, which he had found to be rather detrimental to his mental status.
Louis though had found some pleasant things in his unlife the world and nature he could remember it as clear as that night when he had seen for the first time with the focused eyes of a new born vampire, everything was new and surreal it was more real.
He was one who observed and watched people he found some fascination with people and now these who were like him, including and especially the one at his side. This one at his side was like him and yet different and nothing like his sire, at least as far as he could tell thus far.
((I figured the age by when he was born by today's year, not sure if you did...:::Nods::: Cause when I did the math out there's like 38 year I think between them in age.))

((That was how I calculated Angel's age. Yeah, they are 38-39 years between them))
He listened to the other's answer and the accent held the vague French dialect but it wasn't a French accent per say. It click when the other stated where he use to live, outside New Orleans it all fell together liks a perfect puzzle. "Creole accent a Louisiana and French product." He murmured to himself at the recognization.
"Our ages are close," he looked at the other's really pale face, and thought of the times where hunger to the point of madness had been the cause of that deep of color loss. This one didn't seem mad or hungry, but he could hid it well for all Angel could know.
"Without a doubt," he responded to the statement. Angel turned to look back towards the direction of the village, maybe Buffy was patroling by now, but he couldn't quiet pull himself away. Not yet atleast.
With a swish of his long tail, the brown eyes moved back to look at the other. "Mind if I inquire about your particular breed of vampirism? I'll share tales of my kind." he was sure he could find it all out if he watched the other, but spying on another civilized vampire stallion wasn't really on something he particularly wanted to do.
"The name is Angel, by the way," he decided to mention. Couldn't hurt to give out a name if you were going to ask personal questions like comparing vampirism traits right?

No, the exchange of names was only proper when a conversation crossed the line of casual commentary to questions and an actual at length discussion, or talk. Nodding his head once to the others name he decided, rather quickly, to give his full name as was proper in his opinion, but he was always proper and cool about things at least now a night as emotion was not something which drove him though there were the rare few slips.
"Louis de Pointe du Lac, it is a pleasure this eve Angel. I could sense our ages were similar though you were older, I simply could not tell by how little." A curtous bow of his head as green eyes kept their focus on the older, if only by a few short decades, vampire.
He had once spoken to a man of his breed of vampire, unknowing there was another breed of cursed and damned, he had known the risk of speaking but had regardless and here he was able to do so again but with no risk and he was unsure where to begin even though now he knew more then his sire had ever told him.
"Shall I start at the creation of our curse or shall I start at my own birth into darkness?" He asked his own tail flickering behind him in a most lazily manner as he found himself relaxing with the vampire at his side, he felt no malicious intent or anything to give him reason to be on guard or tense.
The words he spoke rang in his ears reminiscent of nights gone by when he did not posses four legs and hooves but rather was a two legger a night in a run down building seated at a table right a light above his head and a light fixture above his head. He could remember that night with a clarity one would think only possible in the here and now and not in memories but the clarity was so strong he found he needed to visibly shake his head to clear the memories before he became lost in them, and they would lead to other memories such as the tail he had told that evening and very well might again tell this eve.

When the other gave his at length given name, Angel couldn't help but feel a twinge of disappoint to himself. Over the years, mainly Angelus's fault, he had forgotten the name he had as a human. It was spreading his name of Angelus that had mattered and not Liam...Liam, still no last name came to his mind.
"As a pleasure it is to meet you, Louis de Pointe du Lac. I fear I have only the one name to give you, unless you count my alias, Angelus." Angel stated dully, already feeling dubbed less then this comrad of the night. His brooding skills sharpened in the back of his mind at the thoughts, but he fought to keep them back. He bowed his head in correspondence to Louis's bow.
"It's curious how some senses work, huh?" Out of all the time he had been a vampire, even less then that a unicorn vampire, the fact of knowing and recognizing others was very intriguing to him. Even if he did wind up staking more then half of those he came a cross.
Chocolate eyes looked into the green eyes, it was very obvious, to him at least, that the other was thinking. Maybe this other curse of damnation would be more interesting, well maybe only interesting to him because he lived in a different parrellel.
"How about the creation of your kinds curse?" Angel questioned, feeling a bit off that the other had offered his night of 'birth' so openly, but then again this one probably wasn't as a shamed about his past deeds as Angel was. Angel shifted his weight over to the other side and his tail brushed the earth in it's length.

The only reason he had given his full name was by simple habit. It had always been considered proper to do so and he did keep with such habits, vestiges of his past as a mortal and even a young vampire. Some things just could not be left behind he found, no matter how much time did pass.
"Indeed, I find this meeting a pleasure as well." The younger spoke a faint hint of a smile crossing his features but for a fleeting moment before he was somber and yet not once more. "Nothing to fear a name is a name no matter the length. A name should be what it's owner wishes it to be, I simply have little care for what my name is I simply give it at request and out of habit give it in it's full entirety." So simple, and yet coming from him there was something different. He was calm and collected but there was some emotion there, one he wasn't so keen in feeling as to identify.
"Ahh, yes I find the senses of a vampire quite amazing. Or rather I did when I was newly sired, it was as if a veil which dulled the world had been lifted." Everything had been so much sharper and clearer. "I no longer find such wonder in the world." He had seen it all with a vampires eye and heard it all with a vampires keen hearing and the wonder he had once experienced had dulled to an occasional feeling.
"Ahh, that beginning. I fear I do not know very much on this. My sire did not deem it worthy to properly teach me. I did in fact leave New Orleans for Europe, the old world, to find out about this curse I had bestowed upon me in a gush of red blood. So I must excuse myself ahead of time as I will not be able to answer this question as fully as many would like." Oh he was ashamed and felt guilt, even now, over some events of his unlife especially when it concerned Lestat he felt ashamed of what he had become, at least in the beginning. He still felt guilt over Claudia he had damned her even if he had not turned her himself! He had still lead Lestat there and he had not killed her as he should have, thus leaving the opportunity for Lestat to do as he had that night.
"Our curse started in Egypt a long time ago, how long I am not sure...." He spoke trailing off as he began his story, and like he had said there were some parts he did not know, reasons, events, he did not know it all.

There had been a hint of a smile when the other agreed to his kind, and it seemed successful, attempt to a polite greeting response. Angel, knew between his two personalities that he was the more antisocial one, Angelus was a flashy creature who only could keep himself controlled enough to keep hunters off his back. The was no comment Angel could summon for the smoothly and rather simple reply the other spoke about the situation or meaning behind a name.
However, the conversation changed again and Angel this time gave a faint smile, having to recall the unquenchable thirst he had wanted. For havoc and blood. "You're words and sentences are like listening to the past again. I hardly know anyone, besides watchers, that speak in such a manner."
Angel, looked between the creek and Louis as the other moved to tell his 'breeds' origin. But at the pause with his before hand apology Angel looked towards the other's face. Something in those green eyes spelled out that this other being of the night had a sense of guild and shame. He had a conscious unlike most vampires in Angel's breed.
"You have a soul?" the older vampire in the leather duster murmured, shocked. Was it a fad now? Vampires with souls, no, he'd listen to what the other's origins tale had to offer.
Listening as the traditional vampire spoke in his properly mannered voice. Angel could hear the parts that was even hidden from Louis. There was a sense of awe, Angel had learned from listening to Giles the myths of his kind, the mixed blood of an old one with a human way back before books existed. This tale was more full of blood, and part of him, Angelus, was suddenly envious.

A lot of blood and killing, abuse as well He started with two witches with red hair, who could talk to spirits and get favors from them and their village being destroyed. He went on in his story with the witches being taken prisoner by the King and Queen in Egypt and the pillaging of their bodies.
The dark spirit they had never asked for a favor, not trusting it, how one sister sent that spirit after the King and Queen and what became of it all. His story was different from the story the other would tell, were he to ask of where his kind came from. He was sure the story would be different.
With the story told to the best of his ability, he didn't know the story like others did - he was not that old. He finished and turned his green eyes away from where they had been staring, straight ahead and at nothing.
"I do not know if it is a soul I have or not. But I do have a conscious if that means anything. I would rather I did not have such feelings on most evenings. I find I still wish for my own death even, as I did when I was human." He stated, he had wished for so long for things to be different then they had been since Lestat had turned him.
Lestat...that was another point of issue with him.
